I arrived at the Veneto early and was impressed by the set up, nice room on the 8th floor, easy access to lifts from Casino and the food in the restaurant was good. OT[/QUOTE]There are several push button motels on Transistmica where it it crosses Tumba Muerto (Ricardo J. Alfaro). This is between the airport and downtown, maybe about half way, if you're taking the slower northern route. I don't know if they will supply ladies. You could go to Golden Time, which is on Ricardo J. Alfaro, around 4 miles towards downtown from the love motels, and bring one back. Damage would be around $140 for an hour and a half.

You're probably going to get lost if you're driving, regardless of whether you do as I suggest above or stay downtown in Cangrejo. If you're pressed for time and would like to avoid day time traffic, then you might want to forget about the hookers, take Corredor Sur (the southern route with the toll road). After you're maybe about 30 miles west of the city you'll see a well-marked love motel on your left where you can crash. I've done that before, but didn't think to ask if they had women. Or if you're exhausted, there's a hotel just outside the airport- the Riande Aeropuerto.

I have also used that trick. It is one of the best kept secrets of Panama.

When my flight arrives after midnight the most direct route to sleep is a push button near the airport.

The total noches price is around $12 and it is an excellent nap before the long drive out of town.

I learned the trick after getting a flat tire on the way into the city to catch a flight. After changing the tire, I was dirty, sweaty and in no shape to catch a flight. In short, I needed a place to clean up so I checked into a push button somewhere north of PC. While checking in I noticed the "total noches $12" sign and it hit me. I could catch a few hours sleep after arriving in the middle of the night.

Having said that, a good night adjustment wouldn't be all bad.

OT, This should go in the Monger Great Ideas Hall of Fame. I've spent some sleepless nights in rooms along the Panamerican Highway and in Cangrejo because of lousy air conditioning or too much street noise. Looking back, I probably would have gotten a better night's sleep in a notel. I guess for the budget monger the price is an added bonus. And there's no walk of shame! Management never even sees your date, so if you're into fatties or grannies or whatever the world will never know. Contrast with my experience at a cheap hotel on Espana in Panama City, when I brought two hookers back to the hotel, one of whom know the bellman. The bellman thought it would be funny to walk in our room and rapidly flip the light switch on and off while laughing like a crazy person, while his colleague looked on from outside.

Casino is not the best, but there's the Horseshoe and Intercontinental Casino nearby.

Just curious: I see these promotional models pushing various products at concerts, discos, expositions, whatever events around town. They seem to be mostly colombianas, though I know many are panameñas. Anybody know if they are available for "personal" gigs? I'd love to hear some first hand experiences.

Sure there are better places such as DR and CR but there arent many places in the world, US and UK included, where you can stay at a hotel with a casino and have hookers basically in the lobby. And if that isn't enough theres Habanos round the corner or the clubs like Elite. Obviously for budget mongerers its more expensive than Colombia etc but I live in Bogota, theres nowhere like the Veneto or Habanos. So for me it was cool. And I scored well for $80 in the Veneto, maybe not 10s but then getting a hot 10 doesn't always mean a good service, I found that out in London.

As for 20-30 there were way more than that, my last visit last week confirmed it. Maybe you went around Easter when it was quiet?

There about 20 hookers just in the bar area. I counted about 60 last visit, and you should be able to find one girl among 60, if not go to Habanos. They come and go all the time so the numbers are constantly changing.

And I think it's been fairly well established by now there are several Latin countries where mongering can arguably be better (Perhaps CR, DR, Brazil, Columbia-Secret Service Issues not with standing, and probably up-and-coming is Lima) But many of us must travel to PTY for work and this can be a very nice and interesting place to easily find some diversion with our hobby. Perhaps Veneto, Habanos or PTY in general no longer live up to the epic accounts of years ago remembered by a handful of more experienced Panama mongering pros. But for some of us, the constant, almost bitter put-downs just seem a bit over the top at times. Can we lighten up a little here Guys?

Maybe 150. Place used to be so good I was flying from Florida to PTY almost every weekend. Girls were cheaper. Tourists and mongers were non existent. So was the traffic. Girls were Todo la Noche always. Actually more like todo la fin de semana. It was new fun and hip. Now its just played out. Laws changed, tourism changed, there are hotel guest fees, taxis ALL charge the gringo tax now, Shit even the weather seems hotter somehow. Word got out and the masses came and ruined it. Basically what I am saying is PTY was Atlantis-paradise-heaven. It has gone from a 10 to about a 6 or 7. Right in line with the quality and attitude of the girls. So why are some of the so called Panama Vets dogging the country. Well you nailed it. We are disgusted to see the downswing. It just isn't the same. Trust me there are worse places than PTY. There are not many places in the world with a casino, a bar, and putas all under one roof. It is vegas but with looser laws and hookers out in the open but it just used to be sooooo much better than it is now and it sickens me. If someone asked me to go to Panama or pretty much any US city all expenses paid I would say Panama in a heart beat and if someone is travelling there for business or a convention or to meet friends by all means. But, there are better mongering options out there now and for my money I will no longer choose Panama.

There used to be a quality operation right across the street from the Do-It Center on the same block as TGI Fridays.

It moved over a year ago and I have not found a replacement. They opened around 10 AM and charged $80 for an hour.

Club Miami just doesn't compare.

New to this side of things. I've been back tracking in the Panama posts, I'm trying to find a girl friendly hotel in Panama City for around $50-$65 range. Anyone can help me with this, or know a good place to stay. I"ve seen a few on my own, but don't know what's good and what's bad.
