They will be moving up past Central Rd, up Central Pattaya and up to Naklau. As for Beach Rd, the new beach road is Jomtien, you won't have to go far in the future?

I'm with Dans Asia on this one. I might be wrong, but I seriously doubt that those stalls will stay permanently there. I saw something similar at least once in the past there (and it was also for the Loy Krathong Festival if I am not mistaken) and situation was back to normal just a few days later...

It was the same way back in March when they had the Pattaya Music Festival. The whole street was blocked off and you could only walk down it from Central Pattaya Klang to South Pattaya Tai.

I thought Halloween would be a little more festive in Patts, but it turned out to be a bit of a pain in the ass. Beach Rd has plenty of girls, but man you really had deal with all the stupid stalls.

In summary I give me trip a C+. I met my girlfriend there first night. She was very cool and did not go to work (Living Dolls 1), so I did not have to buy a bunch of drinks and pay BF. I took her to Lucifer for about 1 hr and then back to my room. She left the next day around 2pm. Man she gave it too me 5 times and I tipped her 1300B. She showed my a bar called Bamboo and said the drinks are cheap and local band is not bad.

So my dumbass did not take her there, but went by myself. There is no BF and all the girls are FL, so they do not get a cut of the drinks. It was kinda cool to hang out and not have a hostess come by every 5 min and ask if I want another beer. The catch, these girls are not 20-something. I did end up taking one back with me for LT. She never asked how much so I just gave her $1200B just before buying her lunch. I also paid her motor bike taxi (60B). Bamboo is between Beach Rd and 2nd Rd on the Soi that is at the beginning of Walking st.

My last night I went to Silver Star on Walking St. Made another lame excuse to my local GF as I am stupid and want to sample many girls while in Patts. I see they expanded the place and added 2 more stages of girls. I went to the original part near the hot tub and eyed a really nice stunner. Perfect tits and ass and just a wonderful smile. Over the next hour I also "hung out" with 2 hostesses and wait girls to the tune of 1200B, plus I bought 2 ping pong buckets. Now on to the stunner. BF for her is 700B (dancer), but she completely killed my hard on when she said she wants 3000B for LT!! She said 2500B would work, but then my mojo was GONE! I had already dropped 2500B in drinks and tips. There is no way this makes me a high roller, so I am not sure why she came at me with 3000B. I took a hostess girl (well she was about 32yo). BF 500B and I tipped her 1200B the next morning. She was fun, but I think she got her period as there was an accident with the sheets (and my leg, and the condom...you get the picture). I only had one pop with her and kicked her out at 11am. At least her attitude was good, the stunner was just going to take my money and look pretty damn good doing it.

I learned that I need a wingman. It's more fun with a buddy or 2. If I do go by myself, I will go to all new bars, and none back to back. To me, Patts is slowly turning into Singapore (of course a really dirty Singapore). I know it has always been about the money, but I remember when Patts was also about having fun getting the money.

Hello all, this is my first question/posting on this forum (newbie alert! ) I have just returned home back to cold, miserable England after a glorious two weeks in Thailand (Bangkok and mainly in Pattaya)

I am in contact with one of the girls that I picked up from Dollshouse on Walking Street. Apparantly the bar fine at Dollshouse has increased this week from 600THB all week to 800THB Sunday through to Thursday and 1000THB on Friday and Saturday. Does any one know if this is thas the norm? I know that I was in the LOS during low season, but I guess my question is. Does the cost of the Bar Fine reflect the season? Or is this an attempt by the bar to increase profits?

I am planning my next trip to the LOS next year, and just wondered if the cost of mongering is increasing there.

Both the quality and the attitudes of the girls have been dropping -- a bad combination. It takes a lot more work to find good ones than it used to.

I don't think there's much need to worry about finding sex in Pattaya for a long while to come, but in an increasingly hard-edged, commercial kind of way.

Many go-go bars increase bar fines during holidays, especially Christmas through New Year's Eve. Last night was Loi Krathong, which also qualifies for an increase. All will be back to normal today.

They are right, but it is perfectly natural to panic under the circumstances - when you know things always get worse, and that extinction is the inevitable end result, its natural to fear potential signs and symptoms. Its a lot like life in general.

Regarding the pronounced general decline in Pattaya I can report that it has not had much of an effect on those of us willing to fuck the haggard, old, and very rough-looking girls. But if you must have cute young girls - well, you have a hard row to hoe, my friends.

I'm just going to have to look around a bit more with the indy's! I know that the incease is only about £4-8 but thats a street meal haha. Every penny counts as they say.

Yes, Bamboo. It is right there before everyones' eyes, but nobody notices. I went there for the first time last month after walking by it a hundred times. The next night I was in Pattaya Beer Garden and several of the freelancers said I saw you in Bamboo. Ah, so this is where they all go when they leave here and the street. It is especially popular when it's raining. You can meet a reasonably good babe with no bar fine, and relatively cheap beer and no lady drinks. Check it out some time!
