No good deed goes unpunished.
I details and specifics along with her agreement to perform or no pay is expected are utterly worthless, IMO.
Yes, when you consider all the new fresh options available why bother with a possible bad repeat. On this subject, I have also become less interested in taking out girls I had a good to great experience on the first go around. Invariably it appears that many girls get lazier and I am less inclined to agree to second dates.
As to my subject line, last night I was at a dance club but only to hang out and have a beer and listen to music. This is no so easy to do in Bangkok as many FL's either lack the inner radar to tell when to leave a guy be or just are desperate for a customer and plow straight ahead regardless of whether they think you are interested in them or not.
I gradually felt myself being subtly surrounded by a few sharks smelling blood on the water or in this scenario a single older guy sitting in a corner nursing a Singha. One reason for drinking slowly was I had only a few hundred baht in my pocket as I forgot to hit the ATM.
One older dame had crept up stealth like behind me on a railing, no doubt trying to figure out how to get my attention. While engaged in a diversionary maneuver with her, another girl came up and just started dancing with me finally pulling me to the dance floor despite my protestations that I was not available tonight. Actually, in all probability I was available, just not for her.
Overall, she was not bad but still I am not really interested when they pick you. Sort of like hailing a cab. I prefer making the choice. After several dances, I was ready to leave solo and decided to extricate myself politely out of this situation by offering to buy her a beer with the limited funds I had available. Figuring I could also save face for this lassie before departing and be a good guy.
However, she also had a nearby friend who had been alternating between ogling me and encouraging me with various facial tics about how hot her friend was. It was at this point that the girl I was dancing with also insisted I buy her friend a beer too. When I declined (no $$ plus I did not want to buy two beers for two girls on my way out the door), she appeared irritated. Her friend picked up on my lack of interest in buying her a beer but also noticed I was making a hasty exit so she said that's OK I don't want one. Too late though because by now I was already exiting stage left. Now, this girl probably really lost face and I am the bad guy.
In my defense, I have bought girls' beers for their friends
before here on several occasions but it's nice to be the one making the offer, not the other way around.
