Interesting discussion about these two venues. They are quite close to each other though on opposite sides of Suk. I think the Den starts tapering off around the time Thermae is opening so possible to hit both starting around sundown.

The problem with the Den are the lack of many women there on most nights and the rather high price they are asking when you consider that the short term rooms on the premises are 500 baht. So for the punter who said he a girl asked for 2000 baht, I am assuming that did not include the room. Add in drinks and you easily are at 3 k baht. Also, the time in the room will be a flat one hour or when you come as it's generally one shot.

Compare that to Thermae where Uncle V notes you can take a girl ST for more than an hour and the drinks are cheaper. I love close by so could eschew the short time hotel opinion.

Since recent reports seem to suggest an uptick in girls interested in farangs, I may have to take a flier there and see what happens.

I have barfined a special dance show girl at Midnite a few years back but that may have been for the take over by "the Arab". Easy Bar is an outside street bar in Soi Asoke close to Cowboy. Close to entrance to MRT underground. Has only one LB, very charming, the rest real girls. Street portable bars close on a Monday. It's not really legal to sell alcohol on the street like this. However Police take their bribes.

Warning. Some of these bars can be almost all LBs near to corner of Asoke and Sukhumvit. One or two LBs very nice, with hot extra curvy bodies, just for a chat (for me not for sex). I need real pussy to turn me on (and real tits) and cute little upturned noses. However many customers prefer the LBs. No idea why this is. Presence of a dick would definitely kill it for me. May 2 Labour Day (observed) May 1st.
May 5 Coronation Day.
May 6 Public Holiday Bridge holiday after Coronation Day.
May 9 Royal Ploughing Ceremony Government.
May 20 Visakha (Wisakha) Bucha Day .

Public Servants get so many days off. I had to wait till May 10 after very long weekend to visit Immigration and of course this meant the queues were extra long, so I further delayed it till May 11. I normally don't drink alcohol, so hardly give a shit if alcohol is available or not.

I guess some monger places will still be open May 20. I will check. Alcohol sales will not be officially legal. Unlikely to stop Crazy House. LOL I can recall places serving alcohol in a teapot or coffee pot years ago, to make it less obvious. I hardly give a shit if alcohol is available or not. Doesn't really assist me in any way.

Not only because of the little darlings lined up around the walls, but I've also met some interesting guys there. Beers are only 100 baht and there's no pressure from the ladies. It's similar to Soi 7 beer garden in that you can totally shoot the shit with fellow mongers until you're ready to grab a gal and go. Never been to the Den, but I've read that it's pricey and it never really looked interesting to me in the first place.

My school probably wouldn't have told us until Thursday night that we could take the next day off. Oh well, at least I found out and thankfully this Filipino I've been talking to, as well, doesn't care and is down to hang out.

For days like this, Pat Pong is your best bet if you want to go out and grab a few. The supermarkets, 7/11's and Family Mart won't be selling beer either, but you can count on the little mom and pop stores to do so.

But one other thing to consider; I doubt many of those "3,000 baht to the bar and 3,000+ baht to her" girls rack up very much time and experience in a room alone with a customer. Nothing close to what the regular go-go bargirls do, that is. They certainly don't need to be barfined or paid by a customer for sex in order to make a living. If they did, they wouldn't be Coyotes, right?

Upstairs I thought the girls were just a little better so I stayed just a little longer. Neither bar was at all busy. Maybe 20 girls at each, but less than 10 customers. None of the Coyotes really did proper Coyote dancing, so I regard them as fake Coyotes. No one stunning at either place. Some okay Girls but not really many were slim but curvy and were missing the nose job. Disappointing really. I believe Mandarin was a better bar in the past, talent wise.

Time was getting on so I decided it was an ideal time to check out the Thermae. Arrived after 11 PM. There is plenty of space to move around. Not like the original Thermae, 24 years ago which was smaller inside and so packed that you were forced to be close to lots of other people. There were a lot of girls, maybe 50, maybe more, and somewhat less men. Maybe 20 to 30 Japanese types and maybe about 8 Farangs. I think Farangs were probably doing okay I certainly saw one Farang chat up a girl and they left together. She was moderately cute in the face but shortish and body just a little thicker than my taste around the thighs, small tits. Many girls were conservatively dressed. I am not keen when they wear dresses that hide the size of the thighs and also cover the tits completely.

I could see that the vast majority of the girls were rather flat chested. This is not a problem for me, if I know the tits are at least beautifully shaped A cups and not saggy. Of course with the girl dressed, I just cannot tell. There were some big tits with a high proportion of those likely silicones. Not many girls were dressing sexy so as to expose much of of the breast flesh.

I preferred girls wearing shorts, as it covers legs and ass less. There were a few girls with cutish faces, maybe 6 girls where faces were of moderate interest and that includes some rather dark skinned girls. However it wasn't clear whether any of those girls had a really great body. One or two girls were dressed in tight clothes with a clearly very hot body, good waist to thigh ratio and slim legs and some reasonable cleavage. One of those was spoiled by a beak like nose job. The other just not that pretty.

No girl in the whole place immediately jumped out to me as being obviously stunning, and clearly a great body. It's tougher to tell with over dressed girls. If I was really wanting a fuck, I am sure I would have found something quite okay With probable compromise on the quality of the body. Not willing to take an ugly nose job girls.

I did not see any guys groping girls to check out their bodies. Most guys were acting very polite. Not sure any girl was an obvious challenge to my favourites from elsewhere. It's much harder when you don't know them and haven't had large amounts of time to study each one, my norm when choosing undressed bargirls. However the place was more interesting to me the Mandarin bars. I may well come back and try to find a stunner, possibly would turn up a bit earlier in case the best girls were already gone.

No one in the place would have been competition for exquisite Donut at CH, and possibly not even for Noi at Easy Bar.

It's very hard to compare conservatively dressed girls with naked girls at a go go bar. When girls are naked revealing a great body, they suddenly look so much more enticing, even if many of the faces are not that incredible. I have to assume that conservative dressing is hiding a rather average body until proven otherwise, being a bit of a pessimist.

To gamble on over-dressed girls or not? Can any sort of cuddling realistically go on before choosing to gauge what is underneath? Maybe not feasible.

Percentage of girls with silicones? I would say that was low. Most girls relatively flat chested.

Percentage of girls with nose jobs? I would guess probably 60% to 70%, without doing a proper survey. Good looking nose jobs, who knows? If I can see it is a nose job very easily, that means its an ugly one, generally.
