Yes, that is correct. The manager told me that Bangkok Beat reopens their doors at midnight on May 21 (Sat morning). Also, you can still find non pro FL'S in BB and the occasional Thai tourist. I picked up a lady from Chiang Mai earlier this winter who owned a restaurant and a house in CM. No cost, of course, though I consider that a one off. One thing is that later in the night, I actually prefer a live DJ vs. A live band, because no matter how good a band is, they may not do a perfect rendition of all the songs they play. But, with a DJ and the original track with a great sound system and dance floor, I would be more at home.

Also, because of that mindset, upscale bars and Kudeta places are not for me. Maybe that's why I get along better with the younger girls because they are mostly not into ambiance bars and upscale bars, but girls just want to let loose and have fun.

So, I will have to find those kinds of places with only a small percentage of pros, because it's always good to have back-ups and fallback options; and I will only be partying in BKK for 3 nights vs. 15 nights in Patts.
