Was tempted by the big advertisement outside the hotel "Special Aroma Sportsmassage" so visited last week. The sign was saying 3rd floor, but it turns out the massage place is in the basement (they have seperate entrance at the back at the hotel or you can enter from the main entrance also).

Different choices, but took the 120, 000 won "aroma masage". Firstly I went to the shower/sauna area where a number of men where being washed butnaked by other men. Was just about to leave.

Anyway, went for my massage and long story short. Nothing happened, not even a HJ. The masseuse was a 5/6 but was not even near to make anything a little exciting.

Definitely not a place for action. As far as I can see. Will test our Capital Hotel sometime instead.

I do not know about 588; this may be true in Green Street Pusan where I was never proposed BB; this definitely is not true in Miari where there were never a talk about condom.

It can be had at many places in Seoul. I've been offered this many times and at several different places. It's a pretty scary thing if you ask me.

Also, I do believe it's an Asian thing because none of my "American" friends have been offered it.

Most of the girls that go there who are actually looking for a guy would want someone with ALOT of money. That place is just crawling with money hungry girls. If you weren't dressed to kill, then maybe that was it. For the most part, my local friends get more chicks there by speaking english. I guess it depends.

As for the dressing part, some of them were dressed to kill but they were some who looked as if they just got off work. From mid 90's until 2004 I was regular visiting Korea and often did visit Itaewon and 588. Have to pay back a bit. This is my first and perhaps last post, as it is my first and perhaps last mongering experience. I am not a monger, never have paid for anything in my life... but was intrigued by the descriptions of COOL on this website. But I was nervous. It was my first trip to Seoul and my first attempt at paying for anything. Despite all that I summoned the huevos to follow the instructions in this forum and walk down the stairs. And the experience is worth putting down.

Many thanks in advance for your help[/QUOTE]There's nothing within walking distance of that hotel. I would get in a taxi and tell them to take you to the Renaissance hotel. In the back (more like up the hill in the back roads) you'll find tons of massage places. That area is called Yeoksamdong and it's filled with places.

You can also go to 588 and Yongsan as well but it's a bit far from the Marriott. Gangnam-gu is really close as well but I haven't tried any of the places there yet.
