The problem with the GOL site right now is that if you pick a ticket at a certain date it will sell you a ticket a day earlier. OK, so I chose a date one day after when I want to fly, then the purchase ticket will be on the right date. However when you continue to checkout to pay it's impossible to change the country from Brazil to another country. Of course you can choose your country in the top bar, but this will automatically change to Brazil when showing your search results. BTW the GOL site had some issues this morning. They had tickets Fortaleza-Rio for 106 reais. The prices got changed to normal prices after one hour.

LATAMs site for Europe (Other countries) works very badly. I tried calling their contact centers in UK and Germany. The calls gets disconnected after a few minutes.

My solution was using LATAMs German site (even though I don't live there). Then it worked fine.

Make sure when you activate and get the sim card, tell them to activate AND charge the service. I had a problem with them. The girl only activated the sim, paid R10 but she didn't charge it up with data. I was walking around the mall thinking it was good and had to come back to the store to find out why no data. Basically after you activate the sim, you need to charge it around R20-R30 for the service.

I will be going to Brazil in May 2022.

During my naughty 15-day stay in Rio, I would love to visit the Iguaçu falls.

Do you know if an internal flight from Rio to foz do Iguazu requires a PCR test of less than 72 hours?

I would also like to visit the falls on the Argentinian side and sleep there for one or two nights, do you know if when crossing the border between Argentina and Brazil you have to present a pcr test or if my vaccination is enough?

However, Argentina is another story, and they do require a 72-hour PCR test, but that's for international air travel. You'll need to inquire specifically about rules for land crossing in Iguassu, because the Argentinian side is the main reason to go there.

A huge thank you for the answer, I think everything must be well organized on the spot to cross the border by bus.

The easiest thing is that I stay and sleep in Brazil and just spend a day in Iguazu on the Argentinian side.

Thanks again![/QUOTE]That sounds like a good call my friend! You'll definitely save money staying and sleeping in Foz do Iguaçu versus finding accommodation in Puerto Iguaçu, Argentina. Hotels look to be a bit more pricey on the Argentina side. Something I find strange considering the crash of the Argentine peso vs the usd in recent times.

I'd recommend at least 2 days on the Argentinian side, and that's with a private guide / car, which is the only way I'd go about it. Otherwise you'll spend hours on buses and border control; the distances are vast.

Group tour buses are badly suited for Iguassu, IMHO. We're talking one of the most spectacular places on this planet. You just don't want to be rushed.

The Brazilian side can be done in the afternoon.

I've been there twice. You need at least 3 full days in Iguassu, preferably four.

LOL it's true that I don't realize the size of the site, I thought I would waste a little time in the bus to cross the border, but that once there I could do the Argentinian side routes on foot in one day.

My resonance was purely financial, but it is probably not the place to have this kind of reflection. I am going to come from France to visit this place and Rio, at worst I would make myself a thermas in less to enjoy a little more of these gems than our land has offered us.
