Germany even thought about sputnik but not approved yet in EU. And we are now under UK mutant for more than 50% new cases in France, Germany forbidding UK. When people can't get vaccined, when young won't get vaccined in EU, no passport planned at the moment in EU.

I also understand that many will have security fears.
Unfortunately I would have another issue, my iPhone is too old to accept App updates so it might be update my phone or stay away!
I've already had a first dose of the vaccine and received a small card with details of the vaccine, batch number etc but it would be so easy to counterfeit.

EU personal data laws should prohibit that. I would expect that whoever scans the QR code, just sees "OK. Vaccinated" or not.
If the police wants to know who is going to FKKs, they could do this a long time ago, they can just look at cellphone locations.

It is a mathematical long term effect of having interest on loans. Automation means job losses. Otherwise it is failed automation, and useless investments that will loose in a competitive market. So here we are with an automation potential of over 50% of the workforce in 2019. While studies are showing how a global pandemic, or similar economic slowdowns (like the 1920's depression) causes massive realization of the automation potential in society.
The only way out is total basic income. Free money for everyone. And how do you control that from getting out of hand if not by controlling everyone with QR codes, or maybe even tracable implants? Not that I believe there will be nanobots in the actual vaccines. But soon people will sign up for elon musks Neurallink.
The 50% automation potential was in the USA a few years ago. Reports from China is talking about a much higher automation potential, as the populace is more geared for robots and technology. Upwards to 70%. While in less developed countries as a whole where R&D makes up less of the workforce, the automation potential as a percentage of all jobs will also be that much higher than the 50% in the states. A number I expect will increase dramatically as AI is expected to get 5000 times faster in only the next 4-5 years. And that is even before we take into account all the new science seen at Darpas ongoing ERI projects.

I will raise my glass to them as well in Sharks (God, how I miss it!) and to the JVT hero! I'm not sure the single-vaccination dose was fully supported by the scientists or that was just a forced policy by the government (remember the mixed advice on face masks at the start of the pandemic? But I really hope it will work out well. If we look at the number of fully vaccinated people, Germany, Spain and Italy are ahead of UK at the moment!

To what effect does an extra vaccination record compromise any more privacy? Those cellular phones in your pockets already compromise so much more. 80% of my financial transactions are performed using a smart device. All websites visited, locations visited, personal contacts, professional contacts, porn genre watched, etc.
Regardless, if the the tracking is so insidious, would the "watchers" ever expose themselves by using that information to out Joe Schmoe's employer or reveal his infidelity to his spouse?
