Bangkok Reports

Hahaha. After all this research, I've decided to spend 50 PC of my time in BKK with this Udon Thani girl (a petite 6. 5 ( a 3 on the tits like most Thais brings the score down) who is 27, a baby face and super GFE) I met here in Patts. Silly me! I am writing all this because Uncle V asked me to write detailed reports for his pleasure (or maybe pain). LOL.

Many of you will laugh at me, and rightly so. I just feel like she needs to see BKK as she has never been there. No worries though. There's like 0 PC chance I am going anywhere with this like GF or anything else. I'm just not the type at all. Zero. Nada. Zilch. As In never, ever. Plus, Thais are not my number one preferred type of gals, as I much prefer Latinas. This one is just a bit of giving back thingy I sometimes do, or at least I rationalize that way maybe! (but sometimes my personal 4 D local pocket universe seems to work in mysterious ways that even I sometimes do not understand, but that would be a super huge digression, so I will leave it at that!).

She's here sleeping in my bed as I type and tomorrow I already have my prior 20 yr old (a solid 7 and I'm a tough grader and never go past 9) massage girl from Ubon R returning to my apt here for another oil massage and she has already agreed to spend tomorrow night here with me again, I will send her off at about 11 am and and this girl here now will arrive at 1 pm.

Just doing this BKK thing with her in tow, because I kinda do the same thing in other countries. Of course I realize they are everywhere and I read a lot here about how to distinguish them from normal girls. Sometimes it's certainly quite difficult. Now my question: are LBs in Thailand would we would refer as "shemales" or are they operated to the point that they have the same appearance as real girls? I've got a buddy who lives in Bangkok and is fluent in Thai, he's from the states and is a teacher in Bangkok. He does travel to Pattaya but only on the weekends. It is something else to be sitting in a disco, watching the hot girls and just have him grab table full of girls to come over to enjoy the bottle we bought. Its a very nice cool relaxed bar no loud music till 12 am just live chilled out vibe. Loads of very classy Thai babes not young like the go go scene but the matured freelancers 25-35 but dressed very nicely and drinking only red or white wine so no need to worry.

Just go around 8 or 9 dress nicely just don't go in shorts and flip flops like Patts but like a decent gentleman sit at the bar order your drink tip the bar man or women and enjoy your drink and music and there will be women around you like bees like they surround the honey bee.

Since I will be staying by Soi 23 in Sukhumvit, and I have no clue about the area. Could anyone here suggest 3-4 dance clubs that are close by so that I can take some quick taxis?

I was thinking Bangkok Beat could be one of those? Or is it too far? How about Levels?

Btw, I'd much prefer a dance floor with a DJ and Hip Hop, Pop and Rap music numbers !

I think Bangkok Beat has a live band vs a DJ though ?

You have Oskar to start the night at 9-10 pm, then levels around 11-12 pm and then climax around 1-2 am then sugar around 3 am so 4 clubs all are within 5 minutes walking distance of each other and all decent freelancer action.

Or you can go Spasso ay around 11 pm and then walk over to Mixx at 2 am and Mixx is 2 clubs in 1 so you have 3 clubs again for the second night.

BKK certainly has an amazing variety of outstanding food, especially street food. My biggest gripe is that, at the most interesting stalls, everything is written in Thai. So many things I'd try but unless there are pictures it's almost impossible to order. Even a transliteration would be OK, as I know the transliterations for most of the proteins (gai, ped, moo, etc.), the cooking techniques (ping, pad, tod, etc.), and others, enough to know what to expect if ordering a particular dish. I appreciate that the stands are locals-oriented, but even the smallest joints in Japan can come up with an English menu, when pressed.

These days my main enjoyment is never eating the same thing twice in Tijuana. On a smaller scale it has become a serious foodie destination. I can read Spanish, which helps immensely. Like BKK, there is a great noveau culinary scene and micro brews are hotter than a $2 piston among the young. But, as you said, most guys are scared to leave their comfort zone and broaden their horizons.

But generally, I don't like upscale places, so I will have to see if I like it as much. And I liked Bangkok Beat as well on You Tube. Seemed a bit more of a humble place and a bit less of the pretentious people with ego's. But, from what I gather largely pros.

I just want to meet non pros, or occasional pro FL's who are young and can / love to dance to pop, hip hop and rap. Sex is less important to me, as these days I find that for me it is more unidimesional and is mostly, okay ' been there, done that ' so frickin what( ? )...... BFD (I often say to myself).

So, these days unlike some others for whom (when it comes to women on the traveling circuit ) ' something is better than nothing' , I am firmly in the minority 'nothing is better than something' camp. I don't do short time! The intent always is more than 1 day/night as well. Quality of the totality of the experience trumps quantity,..and quantity is pretty much unimportant and I never keep score or look at trip and ask myself ' how many '?

And so, for me it is all about waking up and saying to myself I like this human being who I find next to me. Another friendly soul and consciousness. I have a rather evovled and complex radar honed over decades ( I would venture to say and certainly that debatable and can be easily and validly critiqued ).... But I can usually see through BS and I am quick to admit my mistake and cut my losses instantly and abruptly. So, for me, statistically speaking, things work out only occasionally and I am A- OK with that, as I much prefer ' nothing over something' 99 PC of my time.

I find in general that as I go upscale it reminds me of my life during my professional days and I hate to see people in suits anymore. Decades of wearing suits and living out of a suitecase turned me off later in life and I kinda hate who I was then. A friggin Wall Streeter.

Anyways, I love the common folks who are humble, peaceful and have humanity in their hearts. Luckily, there is one right next to me right now.... However, I want to meet others like her, here in Thailand and elsewhere.... knowing fully well that it is a rather low event probability occurrence.

A high end FL and I exchanged numbers recently and she texted me yesterday that I should meet her at a new place on Soi 45, which opened last November, called Sing Sing. She was going for a friends birthday party. I went over and can say that it's a fantastic looking club, very upscale, with a DJ, small dance floor and multi level spaces and floors. They clearly put a lot of money in it and it's unlike any other club in this area. I read it was designed based on old Chinese bordellos. You can also find a few reviews on Trip Advisor. I walked from the PhromPhong BTS station so it's possible to walk from Soi 23 (though a bit of a haul on a warm night) or take a taxi straight down Suk. It's tucked down in a small footpath directly past a furniture store located on Suk. They also have a dress code and frown on sandals and shorts for men.

However, drinks are not cheap. Most cocktails are in the 350 to 400 range. All the beers are listed at 180 bt, however, menu prices do not include tax and service so my Heineken cost 212 bt.

I saw a few Thai girls there though uncertain if they were FL's but if they were you can expect their quoted price to reflect the upscale nature of this place accordingly. There were more small groups than single guys or ladies and quite a few farangs, both men and women. Last night, it could have used more local talent but I think the drink prices scare a lot of Thai girls off.

My FL girl (who I wrote about last week in this thread dropping 10,000 baht on her mother's friend bachorlette party) was there but almost incoherent when I arrived. She was waiting outside the bathroom as her other friends attended to their mutual friend throwing up in the stall. She gave me a kiss and walked me outside from the hallway to a standing table. She asked me what I was doing there? -- 'uhh, you invited me'. Puzzled by her question, I looked for another chair for the table, and during this very short interlude some foreign guy showed up, clearly with her party, and took her upstairs to another part of the club and I did not see her again. It prob saved me a lot of baht in the long run but was pleased to find about this place so no big deal.

As far as BBeat and Levels is concerned, I think you would be pretty hot by the time you arrived if walking from Soi 23. If you take a taxi, the traffic would be proceeding on the opposite even numbered soi's on Suk necessitating a you-turn to get to Bangkok Beat on Soi 7/1. Returning to Soi 23 is easy as the traffic moves in that direction from BBeat and Soi 11.

To go to BBeat, I would take the BRT Sky Train from Asok -- a short walk from Soi 23 -- and get off at the next stop (Nana). BBeat is a short 2 minute walk from this location and the entry to Soi 11 is just steps away from the Nana stop. However, The BRT is only open until midnight. For your return take a taxi. There are many standing ones to choose from but grab one already driving on the road.

Bear in mind that Levels (and Oskars) is located at the end of Soi 11, which means about a 5-7 minute walk from the Nana stop. Also, BBangkok Beat is a live music club playing mostly formula dance hits. Some bands play AC / DC and Journey songs, while others play more contemporary tunes. There are two bands per night. I showed up at 2 am last night though and it was dreadful. The cupboard, so to speak, was picked clean.

1. So, for tomorrow, Sat and Sun night what do you think in terms of best times to go to BBeat vs Levels? I guess most places won't be open until after midnight tomorrow (Fri night / Sat am) due to the holiday and police permission?

2. And, going from Sukhumvit and Soi 23 , if I am going to BBeat, and want to avoid the traffic congestion and U turn requirement, where should I get off and walk across to the opposite side (is there like a landmark that when I see it I can ask the taxi driver to stop and get off) ?

3. On Friday, I think I'm going to stay close and not venture too far and see what quality I can find within close proximity.

4. I never head out usually before midnight. So I am planning on staying out each of the 3 nights from just after midnight until after 4 am, at least.

Based on the hip hop nature of the music, maybe I will also try the Sugar Club on Soi 11 based on your input.

Tomasb thanks for the tip about Sing Sing. The place looks really cool. I just love the 1920's Shanghai speakeasy vibe. Though, my guess is that there wouldn't be too many FLs there. But it looks like a great place to take a girl you like, provided that she is a little classy. Byut who knows? Maybe the FL scene will get better there over time.

Haven, yes I would recommend you try Sugar. This was the place I was thinking about in the post I made with recommendations. It plays the best hip hop of any club I've been to in Thailand (believe it or not I know my hip hop). Much better than Ibar, 808, etc.

It gets a mixed and I'd say younger crowd. Not wall to wall FLs like Ibar, but some are available. I hooked up with a super cute 20 year old when I was there in December. I also saw some hot African girls thee too that were on the game and approached me when I went to the bar.

The only negative is that it is kind of small club and can get way too packed. And it only gets going very late at night (but the latter is no problem for a party animal like you). 555.

If coming from either Asok or Siam, ask the driver to drop you at the stairs leading up to the Nana stop. These stairs are open 24/7 and cross Suk. The Nana stop is SOI 8 or SOI 11 depending on your direction. BBeat really gets going around 11:30 most nights. During the week and Sunday's, local beer is 99 bt before midnight. As I noted in a prior post, BBeat opens at midnight Saturday morning and closes at 3 am. In fact, many bars will abide by these same hours so you may encounter some issues on Friday before midnight. Even an Alcocart owner told me they will not open Friday morning at midnight due to police concerns.

Sugar Club is open way pass 4 am so that's your best bet for a late night out.

I was there on a Wednesday night so it's possible that weekends attract a larger and more diverse crowd though this Friday could be problematic due to Buddha holiday. Taking a real classy girl, non-pro in particular, is highly recommended. Though kind of waste of money taking a pro here. After all, your already 'in'.
