Trip Report: Six Days in the Su.
Fellas,
I just returned from a great trip to the Su. I will share that my work lends itself to working abroad which allows me to work / attend meetings in the mornings and go to the beach / pool in the afternoon. If I didn't have work to occupy 2-3 hours of my day, I couldn't stay in the Su for 6 days.
Notes, comments, and opinions are as follows:
Hotel: New Garden. Free breakfast, close to the beach, reasonably priced, great wifi, private pool, and walkable to everything. I stay in the back building as it's more modern.
Tipping. I've mentioned this in the past; however, please note all restaurants / bars charge a 10% service fee. They call it "Propina".
Dr Rosen. I walked the main drag 2-3 x a day from 1800 to 2100 with the sole purpose of scouting talent to report and I saw nothing above a 5-6. IMO, many were well below such. In fairness, my style in ladies may differ greatly from most folks who travel to the Su. For added context, I typically seek those that are 5'6, 110-120 lbs with small asses, (spinner style). I contend the ladies on the street in the Su are quite hardened, not that attractive or appealing, and represent too much risk for my liking. Don't get me wrong. I have lived in 7 countries and have pulled in more than my fair share from the street; however, just not in the Su.
Underground. I will share that I did notice additional police activity as LEO was certainly harassing the ladies. However, not to fear as these chicks are a creative bunch. They now sit in cars off of Dr Rosen and "cat-call" the passer-bys (aka victims). I was waved / called 2 x from inside a parked car before I just stopped and asked what's the deal. This is now yet another approach to attracting clients and not LEO.
Tinder. As I have stated a few times on this site, Tinder by far has worked wonders for me in the Su. Further, it suits my style as I'm not a smoker or a big drinker. However, I always meet them at a nearby restaurant, never at my hotel for the first meeting. Many will ask what hotel and I always state another one until we meet. I'm all about "eyes on target". Yes, another risk mitigation strategy.
I usually activate my account about a week ahead of my trip and set the location to Sosua. After a couple of days of reviewing profiles, texting, etc; I found 2 very suitable college chicks (21 and 23) from Puerto Plata looking for tuition money. Initially, I was highly skeptical of their stated motivation as I thought it was a new "storyline"; however, after seeing textbooks, college IDs, work papers, etc, I was moderately convinced. Price 4. 5 each. I'll share that setting up an account is not hard: 1) grab a prepaid VISA from any grocery store, the / l the app on a burner phone, buy a 1-month subscription and off you go.
Disclaimer: I am not an employee nor do I receive any compensation from the company.
Burner Phone. I travel quite a bit internationally so I am a huge fan of burners; yes, risk management. Buy local SIM, Load WhatsApp, Google Translate with downloaded languages, Google Maps, and currency calc. You are set!!
As I stated before departure, Sosua is very much a "transactional environment. They have something to sell and we have cash to buy. I was in the Su for 6 days this past April and I saw no appreciable change compared to this trip.

Sorry you are getting frustrated
Here's a few pointers on things that work for me.
When I go I always bring cash. Besides my room cost I bring 100 dollars cash in new crisp 100's for food and fun for every day I will be there plus an extra 500 just in case. I change my money in the hotel reception. Its easy and safe. I'm fine with getting a slightly less rate in exchange for the safety and convenience. For example when I was there the hotel gave me 58 pesos per dollar. Yes I could have gone out and hunted around for 59 but it just wasn't worth it to me. Normally when out on the street I keep about 3000 pesos on me and keep 5000 in my safe. I will change 100 dollar bill roughly once a day just depending on what I'm spending that day. I keep 100 pesos in my back pocket in case I see one of my ex chicas and feel like helping her out. That used to be the standard for dame algo but with inflation it has actually now gone to 200 pesos LOL.
I do not engage with any of the beggars or street hustlers or moto drivers etc. The worst thing you can do is stop and talk to them. Simply keep on walking shake your head no, say no gracias and give them a dismissive hand wave. They will quickly stop bothering you.
Same thing with the aggressive girls. Don't let them get close to you because they will try and pickpocket you.
I don't speak Spanish very well so I can't run game in conversation. My strategy is always the same. If I see a girl I like I get her wassa and then start a conversation. This is where your game comes in. Chat with her check the vibes. This is where me personally I treat them like a human. If you don't have any game then yes this part is all pointless. But it works for me. The discussion will naturally flow into her asking to come over. Now you can discuss exactly what you want and pricing. Again you need to keep tabs on the vibes throughout this process. Either they are there or not. If you don't feel comfortable just cut it off.
I don't think throwing out low numbers on the street is a good strategy. These girls all talk and you will be branded as a cheap gringo very quickly.
There is always risk involved but sometimes you pay a lot and get good service. Sometimes you pay a lot and get bad service. Sometimes you pay little and get great service. There's no set owners manual for Sosua.
Again these are things that work for me and might not be for everyone. Just giving my take.
