If you want the "cookie cutter" approach then go to BB or La Passions.
I have been to Rio and CR. Would say IMO the average Rio girl is high end DR. I am returning to Dr in a few weeks, hopefully my first trip was not just DR beginners luck.

Not saying that you aren't telling the truth (maybe more as you see it), but seriously, having been there more times than I can count, delving deep into the Dominican cultural wormhole, I doubt seriously the motive was love, or a love interest. The beauty I find in the D. R. Chicas is their ability above all other countries, is to convince me they are sincere. When I start to believe it. Well, it's time to find another chica!

Never underestimate the depths a Dominican chica will go to to extort every dollar in your wallet. It still cost me 2500 pesos, and she wasn't happy with that.
I am currently collecting e-mails and texts to my phone in the US of all of the attempts by ONE chica to get me to WU some money to her. The stories are a book unto themselves. It all started out with "I am different"

I have never been to Panama, but I run into a similar dilemma whenever I go somewhere besides Rio. Rio is my spot but I like new things and Rio gets old.
I would recommend trying a new spot, but always remember that that spot is not your old spot. If you forget then you will not have fun in the new place.
I have lots of girls in Rio so I know what to expect when there. When I go to new places I have to know that I will be treated as a newbie. So be it.
I would suggest sticking with what you know if you have only one trip to make this year, for example.
If you will be back in Sosua soon then go to Panama to see if you like it.

Don't bother with Panama. You are only going to end up paying more for Dominicans and Colombians that you would in their home country. $100/pop. Stick to the source. It is not legal for Panamanians to "work."

It all depends on what you mean by "non pro". If you move down to the poorest levels of society here in the US, a woman will date a man who can give her some kind of financial uplift, and the same applies in the DR.
A non-pro in the DR could just mean a woman who does not spend her whole day hanging in bars, or one who has another low paying job of some kind. It doesn't necessarily mean that she never has and never will accept money as a quid pro quo for sex.
The fact that a woman does not charge for sex may mean that she is ashamed to charge specifically for sex acts, even though she needs money, so she would prefer to think of a client as a gringo boyfriend--and prefer that her family thinks of it that way too.
For many of these girls a foreign boyfriend is their best hope of a way out of poverty and out of the DR, so the benefits may be long term rather than immediate--she hopes.
I would think it would be very difficult to date a total non pro if you didn't speak Spanish, unless she spoke your language.
For the short term tourist the objective is usually sex with a variety of different partners, but it is noticeable that mongers and ex-mongers who become resident in the DR almost always eventually end up shacked up with a steady girlfriend, even if they deviate from time to time, so from the point of view of the girl a steady relationship is by no means impossible.

I just returned from Sosua. Wow. It was really great. I think these so called "bad experiences" are just isolated instances of a guy catching a dud. I caught one dud and two that were out of this world great in different ways. I'm a Rio vet, but the simplicity of Sosua was truly refreshing. Great place that I will be going back to. Thanks for all the input from the thread.
Be carefulful what you ask for, with a main girl (novia)non-pro, you have to take into consideration the accessories. Financial obligations include: su novia, madre, and don't forget the kids. The next wave is the brothers and sisters. When you are spending money they are your best friends, but when the money stops your'e no good. I make it a habit to never meet family, thats the line. Met one girls 12yo son, and he says I'm full of bullshit everytime she mentions my name. Plus the fucking usuall decreases with time. Always remember the pecking order. 1 Dominican dudes. 2. Money. 3. The rest of us.
