If you got a full refund it's no harm no foul. You can buy another ticket anytime you like, likely for a lower cost than was refunded to you.

The timing for this is not great for those of us who suffer from seasonal allergies. I have to remind myself every year that I don't have the flu in the spring and fall. The symptoms are very similar. It's amazing how quickly hay fever clears with a trip to the southwest US or a nighttime frost. I hope that's what you are feeling.

You don't deserve to be belittled about your decision. Everyone's situation is different. The situation is evolving quickly. I think there is more chatter about this because people based in the US (I would have said Europe also if flights weren't already barred) have unusual opportunities to be away from their workplaces and are weighing the risk vs the reward of watching CNN or BBC from their couches at home or possibly being stranded in Medellin. For most, that's what it boils down to. Family commitments, career, or God forbid health concerns can be considerations. Retirees who may need access to specific doctors don't probably want to risk being isolated. Everybody take care and stay well.

That being said, look online. Look in newspapers. Walk around and look for for rent signs. Places to live are not hard to find. How did you find the place you live in now?

I just put medellin aquiler into my browser and 800 million places popped up to rent same as it would for any other place one was looking to stay. Hell, I even added 800,000 to the search and it is only showing me places 800,000 pesos and below. Have you even tried?

P. S. Girls do not want to be with you longer because of where you are staying. They want to get their money and go back home, same as you do when you go to work. Nobody prefers to stay at work longer instead of going home because their office is nice.

Yeah I would definitely not be traveling right now. I'm definitely one of those people who worry less and I would've stayed but the bigger issue is getting stuck abroad when everything is shut down. They are closing all casas and brothels in Europe right now so it's only a matter of time until that hits Columbia too.

Hope these aren't filled with nonsensical details, I just speak what's on my mind and this is what I got; past reports were inspired by thailand guru Florida Hawk, and I kind of just attempted to follow Adventureseekers lead.

The airbnb in laurelles I wanted was swiped, the other guest friendly places I saw weren't that appealing to me. I notice that the place I'm staying at is suddenly available the next 2 days. I hit up the owner and they say that they've canceled. I say I'm considering staying, what kind of deal could they give me, they lower the price 20% on airbnb, then the owner texts me directly and says if I pay cash they can do even better. They lower the rate another 20%, I'm like done. Immediately start hitting up the ones I've missed and decide I'm going to bring out my alternate alias Fukboy and go out pound town style. So start setting them up in 1 and 2 HR intervals. I blew off Tania yesterday for marcela so schedule her for 3, I am iffy on laurita as a bm told me she flaked on him twice, and she is also adamant about 1 HR, but I figured I'll play that game and just bang her brains out for an hour LOL, schedule her for 5, estefania for 6, then reach out to enlly who has been near impossible to get ahold of, as well as dane to knock out the top 10 I wanted to see. Daniela 1 says 7, and enlly says 10. Ok that gives me a good break. I haven't seen daniela 2 online for a few days so hit her up and tell her I might be interested in seeing her tonight (backup for enlly), do the same with yorli although she doesn't excite me that much. Also tell Marcela from day 1 that I could be interested in a TLN.

Go down to lleras to see my favorite barber from last time (fully endorse Edwin at LOS clasicos 3 if you want perfection and attention to detail). Get some Mondongo (first item of substance I've consumed since being here LOL) then decide to walk back to energy. Good times.

Tania tells me she is on the way at 250, and then later says her driver is lost. She finally gets here at 345 to which I am perturbed and ready to tell her to go back, but then I see her petite body with small see cups and a pretty face and cannot resist. She also tells me it's her birthday today to which I am taken aback and immediately go from being a jerk to being happy she's here. I told her via text I have a cita at 4 so she is almost moving quick to please me and I tell her lo siento, tranquila, tenemos tiempo. Fix her a drink, dance, and I am admiring her figure. Go to the room, man her freshly 19 yr old body is tight. Not much along the lines of a culo but she's solid. I wouldn't call what she gave me a BJ but rather her licking my tip LOL, then she gets on and rather than inserting up and down, just kind of grinds real hard to the pt where it's not all that pleasant. To be honest I was expecting a tall girl with broad shoulders as she would appear that way in all her Facebook pictures with her shoulders turned. What I see is a natural beauty with minimal makeup and the stature of a model. Her demeanor is the exact opposite of what I expected as she is sweet and bubbly. Give her a beer, she asks for some baileys and dances on me a bit, she's a great kisser, I am totally digging her. I was so put off with her repeatedly saying una hora. Una hora. But I also started the conversation business like. My 6 pm estefania says she's getting in the cab, oh man why do I do this to myself. Laurita asks me to play the reggaeton songs that I like, and she serenades me to the 3 that I select then leads me to the bedroom. Man she is the full package, for having a baby, you'd have no idea by looking at her body. We are getting it on and I am just waiting for the speaker to stop playing music due to the facebook call or a knock in the door. Do the full allotment of positions and I finish in a very desired area (use your imagination). Then as we are laying there the doorbell dings and I tell him to tell her to give me 10 minutes (estefania is 10 minutes early). Laurita knows what's up, showers and gets dressed. I almost wanted to make a wise remark about only an hour as we both know she'd be staying longer if I didn't have the cita. She asks what I'm doing tomorrow, and I truthful tell her that I am down to meet at night to which she replies just let her know. 200 k mas taxi.

Estefania messages me asking if she should leave, I apologize and tell her to come up. She is definitely a head turner. I pickup on her MOJO, for anyone who's been to Thailand she carries herself like a Thai stunner who is the number one girl at a gogo like Palace. A tad into herself and could careless what you think of her. I totally dig it; don't get me wrong she is a very kind girl and surprised me with some very strong 2 si! She is taking selfies a the I just make it easier on her by asking she wants me to take her picture on the balcony. We ended up taking 60 some odd pictures and she spent about an hour going through them LOL. There wasn't a lot of dialogue to be honest, my mind started to wander after about the 4th rail of 2 si. We were both in our own worlds just listening to music and playing on our phones sipping our drinks and hitting the 2 si. I asked If she was hungry and ordered some wings, they come about an hour later. In the meantime I'm trying to find some alternates as it is obvious dane bailed (glad she did actually as I had her slated for 8) and it is looking like enlly will as well as she isn't answering my messages. I tell marcela from day 1 to plan on coming at 11. After much more tussi, some music, and eating, we go to the room, now I'll be honest that I wasn't feeling a lot of chemistry with estefania. I feel that if I lived here she'd so be more of a friend, no she would be the hired gun: the female friend who you bring out with you who helps you attract other females haha. For the first time in the trip I'm unable to finish, which is ridiculous with how hot she is, but as I mentioned I just wasn't feeling it, and the large dose of 2 si certainly wasn't helping. We just hung out a bit more and talked about music and get dressed, its 10 and I send a gentle nudge to marcela to get going. Estefania leaves at 1030, but the length of the date had nothing to do with me. As I mentioned, half the time was spent in our own worlds which is strange, but you can't vibe with everybody I guess. Another hour of that time was her taking selfies (I'd be confident to say that anyone who had her experienced this to some degree). 200 k mas taxi plus payment for the bomb 2 si. Disclaimer: I mentioned in my first report that estefania audibled on me changing what was agreed to which I did not like. I brought that up to her during our pillow talk and apologized for asking all those things and that it isn't my style really. I love the chase to be honest- JFK said the chase is better than the kill and I agree. Didn't put a pic of her up, look for the latest pic she posted sign the familiar backdrop if you want to see.

Marcela shows up and I give her the 2 si, man I've never seen anyone rip such large bumps. We use it all as I plan on weening off this stuff tomorrow. She asks if we can get the hot tub going which I'm happy to do as I have not been in it yet. Order some food and just relax. Only end up getting on it on once that night. Probably could've went again but end up passing out fairly early. As I mentioned her face isn't the greatest but she's a nice girl and kinda reminded me of a young Gina Lynn when we were sitting in the hot tub the other night. 300 k TLN.

I've already kept the option open with the airbnb for the same deal tomorrow and am thinking I might as well just stay vs head to Bogota. In the back of my head I said I'd let dates decide and have 3 setup. Decisions decisions.

The getting stuck abroad idea confuses me. During the height of the original Wuhan outbreak foreigners were able, albeit with delays and difficulty, get repatriated from China. It's just as easy to watch videos on a sofa in Colombia as anywhere else. If news reports are to believed, many workplaces are requiring employees to stay away from the places of business. A lot of the public reaction confuses me, like the run on toilet paper at big box stores I read about. Does Coronavirus cause diarrhea or something?

I am concerned with preparing for economic fallout, supply shortages of food and medicines, and the maxing out of the healthcare system. These are unavoidable symptoms of too many people getting sick all at the same time. It is already happening in other parts of the world. This isn't just my opinion, its already here.

I have a friend who is trapped in the Philippines. Just today they blocked all flights from leaving or arriving. The military is blocking all roads. You can't even travel by car to the nearest town. Go online and look at how many countries went into 100% lockdown today. At least 10. I have friends stranded in Europe because airlines are cancelling flights and the few that exist are full immediately.

I already answered this a week ago but I came back to PR because my house here is way nicer than my Airbnb in Colombia. I have health insurance here, I have animals to take care of. My pet sitter was not willing to continue coming for another 30-60 days nor will she be able to when lockdown happens in PR. They are already closing certain areas of the island. I have plenty of supplies, both medicine and food here. I have entertainment, video game systems, a full library of books. Isolating myself here is easy, it would be very uncomfortable to be do so in Colombia in comparison.

You think you have a greater chance of catching the virus in a place where everything is closed and there is less social interaction (your home) than in Colombia where no one is wearing a mask, there is a very large international population and you are engaging regularly with chicas who are engaging frequently with other foreigners? Why do you assume it will hit every country just as hard? Colombia is no further from China than Europe, so why has it hit Europe much harder than here? Because of the massive movement of people to and between those countries, because there are no borders at all between the Schengen countries in Europe, and because more people get sick in winter weather. The amount of international arrivals here is a trickle in comparison to Europe. And no two countries are the same, France and Germany have both almost 5000 cases each but 91 deaths in France and only 9 in Germany, 10 times as many ! So why is that if it's just about geometrics ?

And what does it matter how good your healthcare insurance is? If you've read about corona virus you would know that the only medication against it is your own immune system and rest. And I'm sure that my immune system is much better and stronger relaxing in a warm climate eating well than in a colder one, with the stresses of daily life plus the added stress of 24/7 western media panic about the virus. In fact, I was just chatting to a buddy of mine who is a leading medical professor at a North American university and he pointed out that it's not affecting the tropics so much. Look at the map, there aren't many cases in South America or Africa, are there? And very few deaths from it in the tropics at all! Including places close to China (Thailand and Singapore for example). And people are watching the news and following advice here just as in other countries, they aren't being reckless or burying their heads in the sand.

And maybe I'm just not as worried about catching it as you are. You seem to be paranoid about getting it! You could die crossing the road in Medellin, there are risks in life! ! And if you're not elderly or have medical preconditions, your chances of it being fatal are very slim! I don't want to isolate myself away with books and video games like you, I prefer to enjoy my life! Be a survivalist if you want.
