I was sitting with my favorite girl in TR with a monger from Canada. He pointed out a Stunner at the bar, and said earlier he had bought her a drink, but her asking price was more than he wanted to pay. He told us she was from Medellin. After a while he went to the bathroom, and my girl started to laugh. Seems this so called Colombiana was really from Lima as my girl went to school with her a few years ago. My take is some of these girls like to pass themselves off as from Colombia so to demand a higher price for the one hour spin they will provide. Now I know there are some girls from Colombia, but not as many as advertised.

If you want a girl from Colombia it is best to go to Colombia. It is also much cheaper that way. Too bad the food in Colombia can't compare to Peru.

It's funny you mention the food. I'm almost as excited about the cuisine as I am about the women. Got myself a reservation at supposedly the best restaurant in Peru (and Latin America). But, food aside, Colombia is definitely on my list and I only wish Venezuela were more amenable to mongering.

You can read about it on [URL]Perutops.com[/URL] . Slowly but surely the Troc has been filling up with Peruvians from the provinces who got the word. However without the competition from younger and cuter foreigners service has suffered and some of the better looking Peruvians have upped prices from the normal 30 soles to 40 or even in a couple of cases, to 50 soles. There are a couple of foreigners who have married locals for convenience. With Peruvian ID they can work without any problems. I heard that Tequila was raided some time ago, but I don't have any up to date information (I detest the place).

Have you ever been to Peru? It's not about needing help. It is about making your trip easier. Surely you will not figure out in 5 days what it took him years to learn. There is nothing wrong with having someone guide you and show you the ropes so you are not out trying to reinvent the wheel during your short vacation. Sure you may "have fun" without someone else's help, but I guarantee you that there will be a lot that you miss out on as well. I have lived in Pattaya for 5 years and just last month a friend mentioned a discount place for shopping that is fairly close to my house that I didn't even know existed. Also I have many friends (even my own brother) who come to Pattaya and want to do their own thing instead of taking guidance and miss out on the soapy massage. Why do they miss out? Mainly because they didn't know. And that is one of the must-dos for a guy visiting Thailand.
