It almost sounds like you are trying to justify your Sao Paulo trip and we should be interested!. Since pre-Covid there are more Gentleman's clubs in Pratumnak, Jomtien, and Soi Boomerang. Plenty more bars on Pot Hole. LK and Soi Buakhao are roughly unchanged and busy. Walking Street not fully opened all the gogos yet, but the ones open are often standing only, but the nightclubs are all open. In fact there are plenty more nightclubs in town now including Buakhao Treetown etc,. More and better beachfront bars and restaurants opened on Cosy Beach and Na Jomtien full of high end Bangkok beauties at the weekends. Massage shops with cracking women everywhere. The only thing that's closed down and for me it's a benefit is the crappy open-air beer bars. There are still loads but I so rarely go anywhere close to one it's no issue. Plus the town has more weed than Amsterdam if that's your bag. Legal weed shops everywhere.

Been in Pattaya for a while now and do feel the regular YouTubers are kind of in their own world. To me most of the girls in the gents clubs are really unattractive (although there might be a couple cute ones here and there). I find a lot more to fuck on soi 6 (way more girls). Have been in about 5 gents clubs and never saw the raucous atmosphere so often discussed. Maybe because I got bored very quickly and left after 1 drink. In one of the pothole ones yesterday, there were 5 guys sitting inside without company (and two fresh couples) and a dozen girls outside looking at the empty street to call on guys passing by. What's the point?

In general I don't find that many girls here attractive. Maybe found 5 on TF to message over the week, most didn't even read my message. Elsewhere girls attract me with a smile or other behavior. Things you can't really see on TF. Such as a farm fresh girl on soi 6 that's shy at first, but slowly loosens up. When I walked by the next day she pulled me to the railing and stuck her tongue down my throat. A couple minutes later I was upstairs, inside her, getting my brains fucked out (she looks like she finds waiting on the 6 very boring). Never seen anyone so happy with 100 baht tip. To me these are the things that make Pattaya fun.

In general I must say the sex has been really good. Anyone over 24 is giving good all round performance, the girls have surprised me with how quickly the shyness vanished and DFK for instance improved during the sex. Really only had one dud, but it was kind of obvious she didn't really like me.

The only place with really stand out girls is pin up, but I just don't get very excited by watching them 'dance', so haven't felt any urge to splurge.

Never had a problem in Thailand, the only thing I don't eat are their mobile sushi carts.

Not a ton of quality though and the ones I've found attractive in terms of their face, once upstairs and the clothes come off the body isn't on point (most have baby damage that they are sly about hiding in their outfits when catcalling you as you walk by).

A Gentlemen's club is a closed bar, which promotes lewd behavior by the ladies. Unlike, say, a Soi 6 bar that is open, and where the lady may have a Thai boyfriend sitting on a moto outside the bar.

But those last two are quite different in that they have a gogo set up and it is unclear if there are rooms on the premises (both are on soi boomerang though).

What I expected was many naked girls inside, hands on action in public. A little bit what the kino in FKK Oase was a decade ago. That's what I meant with raucous. But they seem to just be closed bars that appeal to older gentlemen.

Personally I like the set up of some of the semi closed bars on the 6 best. Where there is space to just hang outside, but you also can get privacy inside if you want to test the waters with a girl. Baby Cool, Lollipop, O bar seem to have this set up (Ruby as well, but I never see anyone inside).
