If she says yes, extras are definitely available. Normally they will ask you to flip over on your back to finish you off.

Thermae: I didn't bother going there on my trip last month. The odds are greater you will get nothing there than finding an attractive girl who will go with you. Worth visiting but don't get your hopes up too high.

Your soapy choices are good. I would also consider LaBelle and Amsterdam. Colonze 2 offers the nuru gel experience which I think should be tried. At all soapies you pick the girl and she will do FS. For the past few weeks I've been visiting massage parlors and Go-Go bars. The Go-Go bars specifically at soi cowboy and Nana. And with respect to the massage parlors, they would inclde many of the MP on Ratchadaphisek Rd. I've noticed a seismic shift in the quality of girls at massage parlors.

My theory for this is that the younger generation of Thai girls are not interested in sitting in a fishbowl and giving a guy a massage for 2 hours alone with a bath and then sex. That's simply too much work. Especially when they can make more money by simply dancing on the stage and doing short time with customers along with their cut from lady drinks. I think the massage parlors will have a difficult time attracting young beautiful women when compared to Soi Nana and so a cowboy.

I went to one of the massage parlors and the service was mediocre at best. And the girl was 28 years old and had a baby. This would have been unheard of 15 years ago at the massage parlor. Most of these type of girls would have worked at the beer bars. So my conclusion is that the massage parlors are simply dragging the beer bar girls to pretend that they are Massage Girls. I would add another element that, imo, plays a big part in the better quality of service I have been getting from go-go girls vs the waste of time and money I've spent at massage shops; by the massage shops' very nature the "passivity" allowed the customer virtually insures that the girl will see him as, well, for lack of a better term wimpy. Even an otherwise hard charging man of action would come off as a wimp in such an environment. He walks into a massage shop, sits before a line up and, at most, points. He might need to be hand-held by a mamasan or papasan on a selection. He selects from a menu as though that would assure him the sexual acts he dares not utter face to face with a girl beforehand. Often, this is all done while he is safely protected behind a plate of glass.

If he had a some game (or so the massage shop girl would naturally assume) and was at least willing to have a go at engaging in a little back and forth bargaining / negotiating that these girls have since birth associated with someone who values his time and money, this customer wouldn't have walked into a massage shop in the first place. There is just not the volume of gals out there. Not in the least. And please don't get me started on attitudes. So I agree that the the scene is in fact pretty dismal. It's been in decline for years due to many factors.

I was in Crazy House the other night, and frankly I really don't get it. I found all the gals there to be fairly meh looking for the most part. Yes, there are quite a few that don't have kids, but so many have had bad plastic surgery and are trying their best not to look so Isaan, and not being so successful with it. When you see them out on the street drinking at the yadong stall the marginal looks really become apparent. In a mall, I would not give them a second glance. Spot on, great summary of how things have gone.

Unfortunately, I don't think there are better places anywhere, certainly not in Asia. It's [I]possible[/I] there are some in South America where I haven't been, crime is a big turnoff.

There's prostitution all across the world, but very, very few places have the open-ended arrangement like Thailand or the Philippines, where you can start off with a girl for a relatively small fee, and then decide where to take it. A pop, an hour, a night, a day, even all the way up to marriage (if you're crazy), all up to you. Sure, it mostly ends up being 1-2 h short-time encounters (I rarely even go long-time, but often repeat), but there's often an open-ended human connection, not just mechanical sex (however good) ending as soon as you you pop, or when time is up. The scene has also been so large that hunting alone was pleasant (just strolling down Sukhumwit at night was a blast), which is rather hard to find elsewhere.

Jakarta is still cheap (you can get that 400 k idr /$25 session) and has some amazing lookers, but is definitely lacking in both open-endedness (zero, cheap places are mafia run, you're incessantly hounded by mamasans, the girl gets 150 k idr and cannot leave the premises) and service (rare to find someone doing more than just going through the motions, let alone PSE). There are some very expensive brothels like Alexis with amazing lookers, but few people brag about the service, and it's still tightly run. Freelancers at big hotels like BATS are a tad too expensive (1. 5 m-2 m, which is $100-$150), and it's not a huge scene either. Almost no streetwalkers, certainly not the type you'd care to shag. Jakarta is truly great for dating normal girls, though.

Vietnam (HCMC) is cheap enough if you know where to go ($15 gets you laid), but the selection is hit-and-miss, and even with the hits, the hassle and level of flaking is unreal. The Vietnamese seem to take pride in making this terrible (or at least uncomfortable) for the customer.

The Philippines still have the somewhat open-ended prostitution and wide choice, but Angeles City is a complete shithole, and dangerous too.

I'd love to discover a new destination which offers a large selection of girls with possibility of open-ended arrangements at reasonable prices like Bangkok / Pattaya did up until 10 years ago. But I'm not sure one exists or will appear within our lifetimes.

I received a private message from a member asking where's the best place to stay in Bangkok. The short answer is, near the red light district.

Basically there are three which are Nana, patpong, and soi cowboy. There are many other sex outlets but these are the hub of sex. In my opinion, particularly for a first time Comer to Bangkok, no pun intended, it is wise to stay at hotels that are only maybe a 5-10 minute walk from the red light districts.

The advantage of this is that if you find a go go girl you can easily walker back to your hotel. And this goes for Freelancers also. Note that most bar girls and Freelancers do not want to take a taxi for a long distance to get to your hotel. They feel it was not worth the effort. Also, you don't want to spend lots of time in the Taxi's here. The traffic is horrible and it will take you forever to travel a couple of miles.

Therefore tip number two is to stay close to the SkyTrain. If I had to pick one spot, I would say stay at a hotel close to the Nana SkyTrain. This is centrally located in walking distance between Nana red light district and Soi Cowboy red light district. Plus you can hop on the Nana SkyTrain and take you just about anywhere you want to go in Bangkok including other red light districts such as Patpong.

Also if you're into oily massage Outlets they're just 3 stops away after you get on the SkyTrain at Nana. I know often times people will look online and try to find the best deal and stay wherever that hotel is. Oftentimes you will regret this if you're a single male because you'll be out far away from the action. And traveling long distances for me takes the fun out of getting to the location.

These are just my opinions about where to stay. Bear in mind that there are literally hundreds of sex Outlet locations in Bangkok. Everything from beer bars, to massage parlors, oily massage parlors, Go-Go bars, Freelancers, and girls that you meet in freelance nightclubs. The bottom line is, sex is for sale everywhere in Bangkok. But if you want to be in walking distance to the action then you simply need to get a hotel close to one of the red light districts.

If you prefer patpong, then check out the hotels that are 5 to 10 minutes walking distance at that red light district. His question also included where to find the best looking girls. There are girls that come and go at all these clubs and massage parlors. You'll see a group of pretty girls last week at a go-go Club and go there again months later and the personnel has changed.

My suggestion is just to take a walk to one of the red light districts, such as Nana, and stick your head in the Go-Go Bar and see what's on display. Personally, I like Go-Go bars where the girls are dancing topless or completely naked. If they're wearing a bikini, I have no interest in sitting there and buying them lady drinks because if you try to touch their tits they're most likely will be shy or maybe just raise their bikini a little bit.
