Cartagena is "en vouge"... The Italians hit Cartagena the last two weeks and I understand the count to be somewhere around 360 guys. The Spaniards & Portugese & Israelites also are growing in number. While mongering might make sense elsewhere, I truely believe that Cartagena is in it's infancy in it's growth stage. There's no place quite like it and I personally know Spaniards, French & Italians who are buying up everything they can. Cartagena will never be the same and that's sad... but then again evolution & growth is part of life. I just wish I had bought there 3-5 years ago myself.

If she's the one in the photos, shes hot to start with and services can include what looks like a nice apartment rental, tour of local hot night clubs and introductions to local women.

I can't find anything reviewing her services on the forum and otherwise. Am wondering if anyone recognizes her, knows anything about the quality of the condo and whether it's a secure building, the quality of the tour, etc.? Are the intro's for take home? Non-pro talent? Or is it just club companionship? Of course it could be the other thing - another internet scam. Anyone have any experience with them?

It was nice and modern. I stayed there for three nights and then a buddy joined me and we rented a two bedroom apartment in downtown from her for $160 per night. Everything was new and modern. I liked it also because it was central to many things. I had stayed in laguito before, but after staying in downtown I won’t be going back to Laguito. I suppose it’s just a personal taste, but for me Laguito is only good if you want to be close to LDV because the beaches suck. Better to go to the islands. The apartment downtown is very close to the University, so there was a lot of beautiful girls walking around.

Like Mery and Juan Ventura, Dave Jones also rents apartments in Cartagena. I rented SC803 from him and had no problems. The apartment is directly across from LDV, very chica friendly and backs onto the beach so you have a nice view from the balcony. It is also a very close walk to Playa Hollywood where the famous Tony the Tout plys his trade; not that I used his services because who needs a tout to find girls in Cartagena? The chicas will find you! The master bedroom has a flat screen TV and there is A/C in the lounge and bedrooms and a good hot water service. $60/night is about what I paid and I was very satisfied with the apartment and the service. I did not meet Dave Jones personally but had a lot of email contact with him and found him to be honest and professional, his associate Giovanni takes care of his business in Cartagena and I found Giovanni to be a good guy also. A few things to remember: the doorman in the security office downstairs will require a 10, 000COP deposit for the apartment key and you should also give him a printout of the booking confirmation that Dave sends you. There is a nice lady called Marta who cleans the apartments, you can negotiate with her when you want the apartment cleaned or if you need fresh sheets, towells etc., there is a small charge for the cleaning.

I would have no hesitation renting this apartment on a future trip. I have never used Mery's services, but I have rented an apartment from Juan Ventura in the past and I found Juan was also professional and good to deal with. I can recommend both Juan Ventura and Dave Jones as good, reliable guys to deal with. Hope this information helps and enjoy your mongering in Cartagena.
