Being a white westerner was a huge advantage much like being Korean or Japanese is today. We used to select the girl but now the girl selects us to some extent.

Yes things have declined dramatically but LOS is still my favorite place to visit.

In old days I could always find hot girls at Chao Praya 2 and hardly had to go else where. This place declined badly and so did a few others, ever since Thaksin came to power really, or the preceding economic downturn, and then followed a crack down on youth and foreign workers.

I am not sure I agree about missing out on hot girls. I can still get the hottest girl to my taste in many places despite my age. Not in the disco sure, but in a bar, still possible if the girl does not have a customer already. We have to make ourselves seem like a Prince among the Frogs. Easy to do in some places like Crazy House. LOL.

Just clean, nice manners, okay Appearance, having fun without stress, not too stingy, usually works out.

With the hottest girls, you cannot sit back and wait for them to come to you. I believe in taking fast action, before opportunity disappears. I have never missed out on the hottest girls at Crazy House, I mean I may have missed when they had a customer already, which could be a very common problem, but always got to them in the long run.

Make sure the girl wants to select us. We have influence, by behaving right. O.K. I have to admit I still have hair, and large belly has gone now, 13 Kgs. lost from my top weight. So I am probably looking quite good for my age, by no means handsome at all. Just quite acceptable, and maintaining a good reputation so I don't get bad-mouthed (or black-balled as the saying goes).

Sometimes we get lucky. Once I got this stunner Nat at CH. May have been a bit young. Tits already CCup but still growing. It seems she was happy to be barfined immediately. Turns out after the short time, she had plans to go with girlfriend to a birthday party in Pattaya. So she would not have done LT. However she was excellent on the bed, for the short time booking at nearby ST Hotel. Possibly needed the money to spend too. LOL Quit CH a not long after to go work at a Thai Coyote club most likely.

I just try to be well known to the hottest girls so that they always have me on their list as a good option, if not their favourite.

Natty Bumpo should be my brother. LOL I almost always agree with him, although perhaps I am less happy with the Soapy line ups these days. No GNDs for me. Very pretty or forget it. Natty may be a bit less fussy I suspect, or O.K. with nose Ops.

I do take one girl with a nose Op, but she has an exceptionally good one. So its not quite a rule with me. I can take exceptionally good sillies as well, or even average ones, if she is stunning. LOL I do compromise a bit. I take a mix. I have some girls with exceptionally beautiful natural large tits too.

I am away, but miss several girls badly. LOL. Even one or two I mean to try, but not done yet. Things are not so bad.

And the old guys seemed to get the best ones. I was a 34 year old pup in '99 and was often amazed at the gals the old dudes were pulling. Now it is hard even at 50 and I am in great shape! Being a white dude was a big bonus back then. No more.

Yes, I'm w / you I love to look at them and I love to have their pics in my library so the time I spent w / them comes to the surface. I remember each one fondly or remember that they put one over on me, both important for me. This hobby never gets old or boring.

I remember a visit to one of the meetings of the NanaPlaza, or NanaPong, or whatever the hell they called themselves then. They met every Wednesday at the old Woodstock (anybody remember that?) Anyway, one older gent with the handle of Fatbastard33 came in out of the pouring rain. I remember because, although not homely he most certainly fit his handle and he was sporting this stunning dark-skinned spinner with long dark hair. I've always had the hots for small Asian women with long hair. My point is that everywhere you went older, out of shape, balding guys had some seriously attractive companionship everywhere they went, and Mr. Bastard drove home the point that evening. These days, well, not so much.

I go back to the late 80's and early 90's, when Thermae was the place you went if you wanted to be molested by EVERYONE inside. There was no picking and choosing then.

I related a story on this board in an earlier post about how 2 mates of mine had a competition to see who could go in, get a girl and be outside the fastest. I was timekeeper.

Both of them were in and out in less than 20 seconds (True story).

For me, working in Bkk for 6 months at the time and living out near Soi Thonglor, the places we most enjoyed were the Dead Artists' Bars on Soi 33, and Renoir was our favorite.

I used to enjoy the music in Witches Tavern too.

We rarely went near Nana. There was no need to go that far from home.

I know you guys love to remember how good it was in Bangkok in the olden days. Cheap girls, cheap alcohol, celebrity status as a foreigner and so on. Move on! It will never be the same. Adapt or move to Cambodia, that would be my advice. The Thai friendly website must have been a real hard change for all of you to take back then, now you must all be screaming about the ladies and their mobile phones, What's App, We Chat, the big one Line, hell now you can even use Thai Friendly from your mobile with their App. It's very confusing and perplexing, isn't it! LoL. Next..........

I work in a profession where we are always "moving on" and I agree that there is no way we can ever go back to what it was.

However there is a lot of pleasure in some of us musing out loud what it used to be like, even if only to help the younger guys realize what a crazy place Bkk was in the 80s.

It reminds me of how my parents always used to start most conversations with "when I was your age, I had to. . . . ". Doesn't hurt to revisit the past even if you understand that we are now in the future.

No harm in reminiscing about the pleasures that we had in Thermae, Long Gun in Soi Cowboy and Soi 33. Of course everything's different today (mobile phones are the most dramatic difference) , and modern Thai women have different demands and expectations. Vive LE change.

Quality and service are off the charts, and prices are lower than in LOS I've been here before on multiple occasions and I've usually had more time to "shop around". That said, the khymer chics are hot, hot, hot and -- from this guy's perspective -- can absolutely rock my world. Or my bed, whatever. TTG.

Wish these guys could move on and post more often about the here-and-now. The reality is that more than 50% of the venues in the Sukhimvit area have been closed and razed due to massive gentrification and the remaining public mass-oriented scene is a rather supply constricted combination of McFuck joints (e. G. Suk24 oilies) and tourist-oriented Adult Disneyworld go-go ghettos (Nana & Cowboy). If you are going to wallow in the past, then it is going to be a bumpy ride till death.

Bkkdog makes a good point to move on. Learn some new technology, broaden your horizons and see what is out there. It might not be as easy to use as Uber, but you can find something to ride. Enjoy BKK, AsianRain.
