Arrived at the airport. Taxi guy waiting with sign that has my name for New Garden. I approach and make myself known. He then hands the sign off to another guy who turns out to be my actual driver. Guy number one then takes my bags over to guy number two’s van and loads my bags inside. Guy number one then turns around to me and asks me if I have a tip for him.

Feels great to be back!

I have my driver take me to Western Union on the way over to NG. Despite what you may have been told WU does not charge any fees for changing money, but you will need your passport in order to do so. I received 35.5 for every 1 USD.

Got to NG, checked into my Jacuzzi suite in the new wing and unpacked. I was determined to hit the ground running so I bypassed taking a nap and hit the shower.
Got dressed, met two guys who came in on the same flight over. It’s funny how that always works out; I travel solo, but always end up meeting new friends/wingmen. These guys have been to Sosua numerous times before and were happy to point out where everything was for me. We all walk down to the Pharmacia Sosua for Viagra and the supermarket next door to it for stuff to stock the mini bar with.

After I drop my stuff off back at my room and stock my fridge, I head back out alone to eat a La Roca since the two guys I met had already eaten. Now, I am not saying that this will be the case for everyone else, but in my case I was not concerned at all about walking around Sosua at night, especially since New Garden is literally right down the street from everything.

Ate a burger at La Roca; it was the most disgusting burger I have ever eaten in my life next to the burgers at Blackbeard’s. The Santo Libre’s are good though. The funny this is that I initially though “La Roca” stood for “Rocky’s,” so I ended up at the wrong restaurant in the first place.

Walked back to NG and ended up meeting a chica sitting off to the side by herself. Nice phat ass and thighs. Red-ish/gold-ish colored hair Negotiated 1500 for short time. Did not get pictures. There is such a beach. When exiting New Garden hotel turn right and walk to the very end of the street. The beach below should be just what you are looking for. Only snooty tourists are allowed there and it is much closer than the famous Sosua beach.

Nowrath[/QUOTE]There is a small beach behind the Sosua by the Sea Hotel. I just walked through the lobby and the grounds of the Sosua by the Sea Hotel to access it. (There may be other ways to access this beach) Practically no one was using this beach, when I went there. There is an abandoned building that sits near the beach there. To get to this beach from New Garden Hotel, make a right when you exit NG, walk to the intersection, make a right at the Bon ice cream store, walk past the casa marina hotel and make a left on the next through street (don't make the left for the service entrance for the casa marina hotel, the street where you make the left will have a dutch hotel with circular windows, near the corner) and walk down the hill to the next street (where you will turn right), where you will find the Sosua by the Sea Hotel and a new condominium complex. There is also a beauty salon on this street across from the Sosua by the Sea Hotel, (there may be two salons adjacent to one another). The one more to the left when facing them is one that I recommend. Good massage (non-sexual) for 500 pesos for an hour. 35-40 year Dominican lady owns the salon and I believe she lives above the place. Good manicures and pedicures. She usually sends her daughter to prepare fresh coffee for the customers.

in a group of stores same side as carribe tour there is a farmacia .Charamicos is ri behind it.

There is an abandoned building that sits near the beach there.[/QUOTE]Also behind Coco Hotel (a fun place in itself) is a path that leads through the trees to a "private" beach, used by nobody, bookended by rocks and extremely tranquilo. Just tell whomever is at the Coco bar that you're heading back to the beach. There's a gate behind the pool.

Almost miss New Garden’s free breakfast by 30 minutes (served from 8-10:30am). It is surprisingly pretty good for a free meal! Kept on the lookout out for the cleaning lady in order to ask for a few extra towels.

[b]Side Note:[/b] The shower leaked water in the room I stayed in, plus I was going through the two standard towels that you get for your room pretty quickly. So, I would tip the cleaning lady 100 pesos and she would hook me up with a stack of towels. Every time I finished with one I would stick it in the corner of the shower to keep the water leaking from the shower to a minimum. And considering I was doing at least 3-4 chicas a day, I ended up with a very large pile of towels to help with the leak!

Walked to the Claro store that is right around the corner from NG and activated my unlocked Motorola Razr I bought from Amazon.com. The cost was 290 DOP for activation. Be sure to ask for your receipt as it contains your phone number on it. You will also need your passport and the number to the hotel you are staying at (my wingman had to walk back to the hotel to grab a NG business card). They will also place a sticker on the back of your phone and write your number there as well. BE CAREFUL to make sure they write on the phone is the same as the number on your receipt. The girl who wrote the number on my phone made a mistake with the last digit, and this almost messed up an opportunity with a chica had I not caught the mistake as early as I did.

I do not like the way the calling cards are set up. Instead of purchasing minutes, the cards are sold as pesos. Meaning, you can buy a 100 DOP calling card, or a 500 DOP calling card, but it is impossible to tell how many minutes you get with those amounts unless you ask the lady at the store to calculate it for you.

Went for a walk on the beach. A complete tourist trap. Every step of the way there is someone trying to sell you something. But we just smiled and said “no gracias” politely and kept walking. There is no need to be a jerk to the vendors.

Went to Bailey’s for lunch. We ate on the side that is to the far left that is set up cafeteria style. Lots of good food for a very cheap price. Had the beef and rice with gravy. Dominican’s seem to start lunch early, so if you show up there after 2pm you may have missed it already. The rest of the time I was there I could not get there in time for lunch because I kept missing “Dominican” lunch time, lol.
Went back to NG. Sessioned with a chica whose name I do not remember. Kind of crazy, short, thick legs and ass, red hair, and braces. 1500 for ST. No photos. BBBJ was okay. She became really pissed when I leched in less than 3 minutes. Phat asses tend to make me do that :)
