I live in E.P. and go to Jrz. all the time (about 3 times/mo.), but only to 1 or 2 establishments, that's it. I only go during daylight and try to be as nondescript as possible, and only travel on main streets/blvds. I take a pre-planned route, a map, and do not venture off into some seedy neighborhood. Sure wish it wasn't that way, but I do not want to cross the wrong person and end up as the headline story on the 6:00 news. My mom would cry at the thought of her son seeking strange stank in The Mexico.

So if you go directly to the place you want to visit and return w/o any stops you are safe.

I would go only during daylight, know where you are going, get in and get out. A fed agent recently moved in El Paso because the problem is coming across the border more than you think. Remember to get pesos when you come back. The books have been problem also. Inclined to stay here.

I limit my time there as much as possible. . .e.g. no eating out, etc. Just take a taxi between the bridge & the MP.

But Juarez isn't dying as the media would lead you to believe. It's still a very vibrant place

assholes insisted on giving me 500 peso notes. WTF am I suppose to do with 500 peso notes?

Hit Genesis yesterday at 3pm. Four ladies working. Three were a little too big for my taste, and the fourth was maybe a 7.

I'm picky so I waited for Diana to finish with her customer. She was great but I'd prefer someone younger.

Genesis actually has a uniformed security guard hanging outside their door now. He even had handcuffs on his belt which I wished I could of borrowed for fun with Diana!

Hey, anyone know if any MPs are open Sunday? Or is it a city-wide thing? No nut busting allowed on the Lord's Day(?) Even God needs to relax every now and then and get some stank.

I so enjoy wandering around lost in J-town for a couple of hours. No danger there. . .

it's good they're going after the bad cops, but IMHO they also need to treat the good cops better. Maybe actually pay them a living wage, and investigate when they get killed.
