Soi 6 Prices
It's my final days in Pattaya and being a little drained with the usual things I decided to conduct an experiment on Soi 6. A lot of talk of increased prices and recent comments stating they paid 1,500 plus room cost. So, I walked down Soi 6 and propositioned around 10 random girls for ST (all average to slightly average and above in looks). The quote for the room was always 300-400 baht and every girl quoted me 1,000 baht for her up front, no negotiations needed. No need to pay 1,500 baht, any girl that quotes you more than that, walk off and find another as most do 1,000 baht. There's hundreds of girls on the Soi to choose from, no need to get stuck on one and pay 500 baht plus extra.
Indian couples have a long tradition of aborting female fetuses or killing female babies. The result is a severe shortage of women in India. A recent poll showed that tens of millions of Indian men have no chance of ever getting married.
LOL. What recent poll? Plenty of racism, xenophobia towards India in western media cherry picking sensational headlines.
The world average is 101/100 male to female. China has 105/110. India has 110/100 which is moving rapidly towards 101/100 in next 2 decades.
In fact, in last decade, Indias male to female ratio is at par with many western countries.

Title IX is the section you'll want to review.
I don't see anything suggesting prostitution "in a brothel" is illegal as your link suggested. Unless it is a brothel where the deed is on public display I suppose. Running a brothel, pimping as in helping someone procure a prostitute, living off the money someone else earns from prostitution, age-related, by force or coersion, etc, yes, I see those behaviors cited as illegal.
We might remember the wording of the pimping offence when we are asked here, "Can anyone recommend where I can get a good blah blah blah"? LOL. Oh, and maybe the parts about coersion when we've bought her a 7th Ladydrink before we "go with the flow and see what happens in the room".
But a customer and a prostitute engaging in the exchange of sex for money "in a brothel", I don't see that in the code. Unless I just missed it somewhere.
Otherwise, I stand by my previous statement on it. Sure, a corrupt government or police force could arrest you for just standing on the street. But that isn't something anyone can realistically protect against by being careful, cautious or good.
The link you have is the Penal Code for different sex crimes. The Act pertaining to Prostitution is the The Prevention and Suppression of Prostitution Act of 1996. They are different Acts. You are correct that the act of prostitution itself isn't illegal. But they have so many "grey areas and interpretations" that basically they can throw down the hammer anytime at anybody. What the heck is a brothel anyways? Soapies? Technically they are soapy massages. But then again, they operate like brothel with sex on the premises. Everything is disguised as massages. The wording is so vague. "Taking away a person for the act of prostitution" is illegal. What the hell does that mean? Barfine? If anybody gets caught in some sort of raid, which does happen. Do not argue on how prostitution is perfectly legal in Thailand. Just go with the flow and don't make a big deal out of it.

A reminder that, at the current exchange rate of 37 baht to the dollar, a 1000 baht Short Time will set you back $26.

https://worldpopulationreview.com/co...s-by-sex-ratio
Sir, with all respect it is an old paper clip in 2015. Last 7 years Indian GDP growth is surpassing many countries and the living standards and socioeconomic status are going at a racing speed. Agencies and hotels from Thailand are being in tie up with lots of travel groups in India to promote group travel, an evidence of booming economy after covid. Of course the mannerism showed by the groups are not up to the western standard. But that doesn't mean that they are all gays. Younger generations are highly sophisticated and the standard of travelling became greater quality these days. Exceptions are allways there but please don't generalise. Ultimately the motive of we people are mainly mongering.
Warm regards.

Here are some numbers about Indian economy -.
1. India is overtaking Japan as world's third largest economy by 2027.
2. India's Last quarter GDP growth was 13.5%.
3. India's upper middle class (say 150 million people) perchasing power is at par with many western countries.
