I went into Club Fate the other day, and a lady I know presented me with another lady who (she claimed) came to see me in my condo a couple of weeks ago. I had no recollection of her. Maybe I am drinking too much.

Even at $2300 it raises the country rank to 142nd (nominal) and 125th (PPP). The Indian grande and haute bourgeoise probably shouldn't take the proletariat / plebeians for granted, historically such extreme structural income inequality does not work out well for a society's bourgeoise / patrician class in the long run.

I have worked with TCS, Wipro, Cap Gemini, and many smaller labor providers for close to 20 years. Any US / EU firm who knows has any clue is not paying median contractor rates of over $32/ hour for Indian outsourced tech labor, TCS / Wipro / Cap Gemini / etc have min gross margin requirements of 42-52%, which means that all in labor costs of the median IT contractor is around $12-17/ hour.

Given the amount of Indian mongers that seem to be on the street. I don't see any type of proportional representation in the Go-Go's, Soapies, or even the Soi 6 bars. Given my anecdotal observations and conversations with working ladies, the Indian mongers spend very little $$. Using your "Big Mac" index, spending 5 K Baht in a Go-Go (Barfine's included) for a ST is the equivalent of $350-$550 in PPP.

Perhaps you are correct, Pattaya might need Indian mongers to survive, but they better start spending like ANZAC / EU / Korea / Japan or Pattaya is in a for a world of hurt.

Next time I mention I am coming to Thailand early October someone please slap me so I can stay in another country another 2 weeks instead. Tomorrow is an alcohol free day meaning all bars shut down at midnight tonight then don't reopen until Tuesday. That means Walking Street and LK Metro gogo bars will not open tonight or tomorrow. Then in a few days from now all bars will be shut again for 1 to 2 days for the King's death. Be smart and book your arrival post the King's death holiday.

To couple it off for the few things that may be open tonight it was heavy rain all afternoon and Soi Diana is completely flooded. At this point I'm just hoping to be able to go buy a good dinner to save the day.

I and my girlfriend will be visiting Pattaya in November. I have visited Pattaya in past years but this will be the first time with a female partner.

Some clubs can be a hit or miss. And preferences differ.

Bro cab drivers and even low level govt employees from India are mongering in Thailand. I know a few who do that myself. Earlier, say 10-15 years ago only the rich businessmen or guys in well to do corporate jobs had the cash to go monger in Thailand but these days it's just about anyone from India who can go to Thailand for a weekend and monger. Even jobless Indian students end up there mongering.

Indian govt has been printing money at the same pace as USA and they sell garbage it services and sub standard products world over because govts in the west decided to kuk themselves & their populations.
