pros: the cost is considerably cheaper than seoul. i have paid as little as 40,000won for a short time (very recently).

con: you don’t get to choose the gal, and ymmv. she just shows up. the scene seems a little risky, so you boys who like to take a chance or two, you may enjoy the daejeon set up. remember that prostitution is illegal in south korea. those following this korean board remember a time nearly two years ago when 5000 johns and prostitutes were stung in one day. i have heard of no law enforcement activity covering prostitution in daejeon, and i have never had a problem.

here is how it works (directions to follow): you walk the back streets and alley ways, and ajumas act as hailers. they ask if you want a “short time.” there is no pressure. depending on where you go and which ajuma, you are placed in a yeogwan (cheap motel) or a small room near where the ajuma is sitting in the alley way. rooms have been very clean and private. both times had fair service.

if you walk on the side streets, those ajumas put you in a yeogwan. if you walk to alley ways, those ajumas put you in a room near where she is sitting. i preferred the latter. more tucked away.

I couldn't have said it better myself! Korea sucks for mongering...especially if your goal is finding hot Korean women who take pride in their service skills.
