I have a couple of choices about visiting Nuevo Laredo this week.
MrG - send me a note to mr_vee@bellsouth.net. I'll be looking for it in the next day or two. Let me know what night(s) are best for you (it's either Wednesday or Thursday for me - with some constraints either way, depending which day). Also how to get in touch (cell phone, etc.).

I've scanned several pages of posts and haven't spotted information about the border crossing itself.
Does anyone know how late the crossing stays open at night, and/or what time it opens Friday morning?
And, I have a rental car that cannot be driven into Mexico, so can I assume that there's a parking lot on the U.S. side where I can pay to park, walk across, then catch a cab?
If I wind up having time to visit only ONE bar in Nuevo Laredo, which should it be - any recommendations, or are they all hit-n-miss on any given night?
MrVee; the border never closes. The sidewalk might be shut down in rare instances but you can walk through the drive through. Once around 4:30 AM I walked into the building where they check IDs and charge tax on Liquor and stuff and there was no one home! I even said Hello a couple of times (Baracho I was) but not a soul so I strolled on past and into Laredo. That was before 911, however it is still pretty chill in the wee hours.

Drive your rental if you want. When I lived in juarez, before I brought a set of wheels down, I rented from Enterprise and drove it home for two or three days at a time. Not a problem.
Bars; Hi end expensive, snooty *****s..Try Papagayos...Marabu for a quiet laid back atmosphere where the girls really appreciate you being there. Pimp Daddy's for irreverent fun type girls who'll screw you on the bar stool if the mood strikes them.
Tamykos...Too old and wore out. Martha's is hit and miss as are Tabu, Club Paris, etc.
Any other Austinites going down to BT this Wednesday or Thursday? Haven't seen any post from MicJagger, Kosher, Cobra, or DinDallas in awhile. You guys have any updates or advice for first-timers?

This is golden information. Not sure about other mongers who decide to head (pun?) down there Thursday night, but Marabu and Pimp Daddy's sound like the two choices for me. Or maybe both. But typically I try to stay at one place for a good while, unless it's just obvious that the cards aren't playing out. If I'm in a mellow-out sort of mood, sounds like Marabu will be my first choice, but if I'm in a party mood, Pimp Daddy's could be it.

Mr. G a fellow Austinite how you doing? I'll offer a few tips for any first timer going to boystown.....
1. Park your car on the US side and take a cab to boystown, $10 for everyone. There is nothing wrong with driving in Mexico, its what I prefer, but for your first time its not recommended.
2. Break down your cash to mostly small denominations, 10's, 5's,1's this is helpful when keeping track of your change when paying your waiter for drinks. Its not uncommon for some waiters to try to short change you when you pay with a large bill.
I say again watch your money exchanges with the waiters carefully.
3. When you first arrive to the compound the cabbie will try to drop you off at the main club PapaGayos but don't let him, instead tip him a couple of bucks and ask him to drive you around the compound (4 streets each on block long) so you can check out the girls working out of their rooms. Make a mental note of which ones you fancy so you can come back later or earlier as some guys like to start with a room girl as a warmup.
4. Have cabbie return you to PapaGayos and this is a good starting point. Clubs I had good luck with are PapaGayos, Club 123, Tabu, New Paris Club (this one is a dive but you find diamonds sometimes). Watch out for the clubs on the perimeter streets, not everone is what they appear.
5. If you take a camera be discrete with it and use mostly when you are in the room with your chica, sometimes the cops will hassle you if they see you with a camera and ask you to surrender it or pay a fine.
6. Man this just scratches the surface but you'll have a good time just be cool.

Hello, brethren.
Yes, I'll be heading down to NL (aka, BT) Thursday evening. I came 90% close to having to ditch all plans this week and fly out to Tijuana for a customized demo of our product, but instead, I'm going to do it over the internet from my hotel room in San Antonio tomorrow night. I'm committed from 4:00 PM Central until about 7:00 PM Central. After that, a little time to freshen up, maybe grab a quick bite, then point the car south for the 3-hour drive to the border. Arriving around 10:00 PM, I figure on staying at least a couple of hours to check out the local scene, intake some fluids and expel same (uh, not the SAME fluids...just thought I'd better clarify!!), contribute to the local economy, etc.
Let me know if anyone wants to meet up in San Antonio for a ride down, or otherwise wants to meet up at the border or at any of the spots mentioned on this board.

On the way back from a visit to Boy's Town this month, I stopped
at the Love's Truck Stop at the 13 mile marker on I-35. Next to it is a new adult video store. When I went inside, there were many ladies, apparently working girls, milling about, and they offered to take me to a booth or private room for a lapdance or "something more". Since I was exhausted from mongering in La Zona, I did not accept.
I was wondering if anybody from here has gone into this place. Does anybody know what is really available inside, and how much we can expect to pay ?

In the first two weeks of September I made two mid-week visits to Nuevo Laredo Boy's Town. The first time, 9/3/03, I arrived around 2 AM, and at first I was worried because there were so few women around. Mostly hustlers trying to get me to go into the Shamrock or down street one, and the regular shirt-off staggering drunk local guys.
Anyhow, I paid my $10 gringo tax to the cab driver and stepped out into Papagayo's parking lot. It was hot. I mean really hot. Almost 90 degrees at 2 AM.
RULE ONE - Make sure in advance that the room you will be using is air conditioned.
I don't usually like to go to Papa's first, but I wanted to use the bathroom. There were about 15 girls in the room, not many. On my way out of the bathroom, as I walked in front of the door to the dressing room, a real hottie walked out.
She wasn't tall, but she looked tall because her legs were so long. Very tight short shorts, showing off those long shapely legs, and a tight top bulging with bosomy goodness.
She was balancing on top of 6" spike heeled ball-me shoes, and that always makes the girls hold their bodies and walk in a very provocative way. Oh well, I thought, might as well start
with the main course.

you and you gotta have her ? Just don't let them know that. She was pushing my buttons for sure. I felt the strong vibe of the GFE specialist at work.
I said how much for us to go to a room ? She hit me with the $80 price tag. As has been noted here before, the girls raise their asking price when the place is not busy. WSG prepares us for this. I told her I only had $50 for this, and I really liked her and wanted her, but if she wouldn't take $50 I'd have to find another girl. She said OK, and in typical PapaG's fashion, she asked for some money up front for the room. I gave her a 20 and waited while she disappeared into the dressing room.
RULE TWO - Always remember that the negotiated price includes everything, unless otherwise agreed on.
A few minutes later she strutted back, and I was really turned on by the way she walked. I stood up as she approached, and she put her arm around me, kissed me on the cheek, and led me out the back door. After paying off they towel lady we went into
a nice cool room, and she turned and hugged me, putting her arms around me and feeling all over my aroused body. I know that GFE is part of the job for most of these girls, but it really felt to me like she was turned on by me and really wanted me.
Of course, reality edged its way back into the picture when she asked me for $50. I gave her $30, and she started to say something, but I just smiled and she smiled too, with that "oh well, at least I tried" look.

When I got back to my car, I noticed that I had big lipstick kisses on both of my cheeks. I guess he figured out what I was doing in Mexico.

This is the second of two trips I made to Boys Town this month. Sorry my last report was so badly formatted. I arrived Sep 9, a Tuesday, at midnight. The previous week, I never made it past Papagayo's. This time I was determined to make the rounds. It was about 85 degrees; air conditioning is still a must.
Boys Town mainly consists of three parallel streets. Street One goes from Papagayo to Marabu. Street Two goes from the Pullman to the Star Bar. Street Three, or TS alley, goes from BumBum to El Parasio. Those streets are connected by Front Street, from Papagayos to BumBum, and Back Street from Miramar (by Marabu) to El Parasio. Stay away from the other street which runs behind Papagayo's and Marabu. There are only a couple of clubs there, and it's very dark and deserted.
I started up street one. There were a couple of young door girls just past the dress shop, asking $15 and $20. I crossed the street and went down the path to Marabu. I looked in the window and didn't see any girls at all. Just waiters sitting around with their trays.
I went back and crossed the street again to Tamiko. It was crowded and I decided to check back later. Donkey's Show was very dark; no show during the week. There were a couple of hot girls who were already occupied, and several 3's and 4's hoping the dim light would improve their chances.
As I walked past La Cosa, the blacklight strip bar on the corner,
I fondly remembered a session with Erika there last year. She had just
turned 18 and was completely gorgeous. She wasn't

Nearly all of the bars on street 3 are TS. Once I was with a group of about 8 newbies, and the group was lured inside Las Brisas with the promise of air conditioning and $1 Coronas. Her name was Veronica, from Acapulco. She had long straight hair. She took me inside Tamiko, handed some money to the bartender, and took me out the side door to one of the apartments.
