Hi Guys,

Are there any mongerers travelling to Riga this weekend? I am travelling there on Friday the 25th November and will be there till Monday morning. I plan to do some (inexpensive) mongering and have hired an apartment in the Old Town. Even have an extra double sofa bed in the apartment if needed.

I visited Riga some weeks ago, and had several girls during my stay.

Most of the girls visited me in my hotelroom. Just to call one of the many agencies that have ads in Riga this Week. Price from 35-50 Lat, most of the agencies demanded 40 Lats for 1 hour. The quality of the girls varied, but most were 5-6. Had one 8. Service generally good. Some of them did BBBJ and CIM.

Also had a freelance escort. Very good quality and service, but expensive.

Had a erotic massage not far away from hotel Latvija. 1 hour - 25 Lats, incl HJ with lot of oil. Recommended.

In total I found Riga very nice for mongering, and easy to navigate.

yes vincevoyuer, they are a real agency,prices are 40-45lats, they work till 5-6am, the girls are all usually all tired looking, they will bring to your apartment a selection of girls if you ask, maybe 4 girls, with a minder type who is the driver, when you choose you pay him the money, if you send them away he will ask you for 5lats for the taxi, which is fair enough.you can expect to fuck the girl twice in the one hour, you must specify this, or they will dress to leave after your first shot

Ah Diceman that brings back memories from 2002. When i was there those agenices charged 25 lats an hour, have they really almost doubled price in a couple of years??

I remember one of those girls telling me that me that they worked 24 hours a day. They were holed up in a flat, and would often have to leave the flat every 2 or 3 hours, and then only one girl would usually be chosen by the client. She said that she often went for 4 or 5 days with no proper sleep.

yes my friend i agree, i feel more sorry for the less attractive ones who hardly ever get picked out of these line ups,yes, im afraid they have all hiked there prices up, ladylux for example, if a price is not specified and its a foreigner calling them, the price is always quoted as 45-50 lat, if a price is specified say 30lats, and a foreigner calls you are still quoted 40-45lat, and when you query it they always say the website hasnt been updated, so they are well sussed out there now, they know they have plane loads of young guys coming in daily 2 a day from london, and ryanair from liverpool, and all the italians, germans and all other sorts coming in, if you go to riga now in november, you can struggle to get an apartment, the place has taken off big style. but you can still find a few gems here and there, the key to it is a good taxi driver, and learn a bit russian, there are some nice ones about 5-7 kilometers out, this is where the good taxi driver comes in handy, fixed price, return trip, but yeah them days are gone from 2002, i was there then and it was a paradise situation.

IMHO, Riga is going down. If you take a girl from "lady lux" you will not get the girl which is shown on the photo. I payed for an absolut inexperienced girl, 18 years, 50 lats. Sometimes the agency demands 70 Lats plus taxi!

If you look for cheap sex, forget Riga. In "Lady Lux" for example you will get inexperiencend and ugly girls, which demand, 40 until 100 lat/h.

There are too many boys (English, Germans, Italiens etc.) looking for cheap sex but only get alcohol!

Most of the phone number advertised on ladylux.lv, as well as those on ss.lv, will connect you with a dispatcher, who will then send to you first available girl (and usually never the one you see on the picture).

To avoid this problem, when you call, don't say "Hello, may I speak to Natacha?" (or whatever the name), just say "Hello, what is your name?". If the name is the same than the one on the ad, chances are you are talking to the right girl (because the girls you see on pictures do exist and do work).
If she can't really answer the question, then ask her to send a choice of 2 or 3 three girl to your apartment or hotel (you can precise blonde, brunette, tall, small, etc). You'll have then some chance to find one you like. If not, just give them 5 LVL for taxi and they'll go home (it's fair).

The new "elite" agencies of Rige (night-life.lv, ladynight.lv) are really arranging you meeting with the girls on the pictures, but you need to be patient if you want someone specific because they don't work all days or all hours. Price are higher, but girls are better (which doesn't mean service will be exceptionnal, however).

If you know you are coming for some days in Riga (and not just overnight or small week end), my advice is to start chatting some girls on websites such as super.lv, oho.lv (latvian girls), face.lv (latvian girls), znakomstva.lv (russian girls), 69.lv (russian girls). To succeed, you'll need basic understanding of Russian (or Latvian) to be able to navigate the website. Most of the girls will speak English.
Don't waste your time with profile showing super model, it's 99% fake.
Many girls there are interested to meet foreigners, but contrary to what you may think, they are not focused on money.

I used Patricia Ltd in 2002, I found em good. The company is owned by an American guy called Mike as i remember.

Spent few days in Riga and have to say it's nice place to go. The nightlife is really good, all girls are wearing mini-skirts etc. City is one of the most developed in the area and certainly safer than St.Petersburg or Warsaw. Without looking too rich or being too drunk you will be fine even in the outer suburbs.

I know that some people have different opinions, but I think it's not good place for paid sex. Those top end clubs certainly have some scene, but nothing for cheap. Massage parlours in downtown and local "masaza bärs" in suburbans have something to offer, but I didn't find them great. Callgirls from ladylux.lv and similar agencies are an option too, but my friends said they are like robots in drugs. Maybe they had just bad luck. I was planning to try one too, but after those comments I went for my plan B...

If you are young enough and have some time, local nightlife is for you. Nightlife is way better and rougher than in UK or Central Europe. It's relatively easy to pick up russian girls in nightclubs, but you have to go around to find one without boyfriend at home. Latvian girls are always more difficult, but after good conversation you may have a change. In addition, you must be decent looking to have a girl in a normal nightclub. Avoid Roxy and those tourist places in old town as they are known to be the most dangerous. Pickpockets are common and in Roxy club they do 20lat "drugtests" in toilets. I have seen one guy and heard four guys to be "tested". Be aware! I found La Rocca best club with lots of Russian girls in skirts. Nautilus and club Essential were also good, but more difficult to pick up a girl.

Riga isn't any third world meatmarket where you can buy any girl on the street. I spoke in nightclubs with some locals and some of them seem to have much more money than tourists do. My conclusion was that Riga is a place for good nightlife with normal girls except they are more beutiful than in western countries.

Hope this helps someone. I might be wrong in some things, but believe me at least in Roxy stuff and never ever have any notes in your wallet. Shoe is an option if you wanna go to Roxy.
