I don't post very often but on this occasion I feel compelled to share my StP experiences. I intend to post details of all my activities but my introductory account is my private apartment experience in St. Petersburg.

Prior to my StP trip I conducted a great deal of research reading WSG posts, sending emails and checking Omem.ru profiles. I believe it was time well spent. The objective of my R&R trip was to cover the complete spectrum of mongering activities including finding frees - pros in bars/discos to the sauna & private apartment scene. Anyway around 14:30 I called +7 812 970 4570 (within StP just dial the last 7 numbers) which I later discovered was a city based mobile/GSM/cell phone number and spoke to a woman. I asked if she spoke English and to my relief she was willing and could albeit in a broken manner. I said I wanted to see Snezhanna whom she confirmed was available. I asked if she could come to my hotel, she suggested it was better for me to visit her. The price was RUR 1,500 / 1hr, RUR 2,500 / 2hrs. She mentioned the apartment was near Moskovskie Vorota. Now, if you have been to StP I'm sure you can relate to my trepidation about going to an apartment. My concern is not the security but the fact these suckers are nearly impossible to find! Sometimes there are no markings plus multiple occupancies sharing the same street number. However as I later appreciated I'm glad I went to the apartment. Just to be double sure I went to cashier desk in my hotel and asked the girl if she would speak to the woman to confirm the location. I rang and they spoke, the cashier bird was very helpful and confirmed it was Moskovskie Vorota which is just as well because I thought it was different place.

StP Metro
The StP Metro system is excellent. Moskovskie Vorota is 4 stops south on the Blue or No. 2 line from Gostiny Dvor. The metro trip from Gostiny Dvor takes about 15 mins. Exit Moskovskie station you will be confronted by a monument or arch, a kind of mini, Soviet style Arc Triomphe. Cross the busy boulevard quickly and walk in a rightish direction and look for number 138. The woman suggested I call when I arrived at 138. I will post a photographic itinerary in the photos section but I lost the street numbers after 136. Anyway I rang and she said someone was coming down to meet me, after about 5 mins a tall girl popped out of door appearing to look for somebody, clearly she was after me so I approached her and she lead me to their apartment. In fact I discovered later it was Leana/Liana.

Apartment
I was expecting a brothel or commercial establishment. The apartments appear to be regular homes for girls who converge in the cities to study and earn money on the side. I can personally confirm the profiles, phone numbers and pictures on Omen are real. I spent time with a StP girl who advertised on Omen and it was 100% accurate. Although her pictures were shot under studio conditions and with possible digitial enhancements it was the same girl. I guess it makes business sense to be honest plus they tend to normal girls, my girl was a student. However if you see pictures of Carmen Electra or equivalents in those glossy magazines mentioned by Doc_Skank then it's probably BS and likely to be the complete opposite, if you have reservations do as I did and target 'normal' photo profiles.

The Rules of Engagement

Experiences at Magrib & Rossi's from the perspective of a non-caucasian, 33yr old.

Magrib:

Magrib is your typical upmarket ex-pat venue. It's not bad and caters for everything in terms of food & entertainment with the restaurant & disco. One problem is the toilet, one unisex toilet for all restaurant patrons. Prices are not cheap but Western standard food. Food is okay if you can reconcile eating Japanese food in a Moroccan setting. I came to know Magrib and it's style because I visited the place consecutively over a number of days. My objective was to scope the place and to assess it's modus operandi.

Day 1:

I walked into Magrib around 22:00 and found a strategically located table on the restaurant side and ordered a drink. The restaurant is broken up into partitions or sections with clusters of tables. My partition was full of girls who appeared to be 'working' but off duty. It was pretty obvious they were working given their tight revealing clothes, lack of conversation and 'wingman' configuration i.e. pairs. They were all good looking and worth the $ but they must have been off duty or preparing for duty because they did not initiate or sustain any 'lock' (eye contact), strange? Anyway after watching all the 'models' I retreated to my hotel feeling hot & horny (I didn't know about the disco).

Rule 1 - It's better to bug out and fight another day than push a bad position i.e. never fuck a hotel hooker.

I broke a major rule of engagement. On the way up to my room in the hotel I noticed the hookers loitering around the lobby. In hindsight not the best looking but screwable given my desperation for sexual fulfilment at the time. Anyway I struck a conversation with a girl who wanted RUR3,500 / 1hr. The problem with the disco girls in Magrib is it very difficult to distinguish between the normal and working girls. My observations:

- Mounting Yard. It's similar to the mounting yard at the horse races where they parade around. The pros follow a similar routine. She walks past, you give her a penetrating 'lock', she skews to halt beside you, loiters for a few mins, goes out to the dance floor and performs for you and once she has your attention head to the toilets or the raised area at the back of the disco to await your approach.

- Dancing. Normal girls will dance and do so for prolonged periods of time. The pros/semi-pros also dance but for short sharp bursts to generally highlight their implied sexual ability.

- Configuration. They seem to working in formations of 2 or 3.

Rule 2 - An example of what not to do - Don't ask "how much" without first establishing if she's a hired hand.

The cover was RUR 200 (men) / 100 (women) on Friday. A more youngish crowd than Magrib. There is plenty of eye contact and an abundance of hot looking girls. IMHO on the night they had better looking girls than Magrib. I was with female company so I was constrained but it looks fairly easy to pick up girls in Rossi's. I noticed the Russian women respond well to pick up overtures. I suspect they get little or no quality attention from the local guys so they respond to the basic 'lock' and a smile.
