Based on a report I read here, I figured I'd give the spa at the Jinruilin hotel a try. This hotel is located about a five-minute walk from the Kecun Metro station, where the #2 and #3 Metro lines intersect. If you go by Metro, follow the signs for the Xin Gang Lu exit (exit 'D').
When you get to the street, take a right and start walking. Eventually you'll have to cross the street, as the hotel is located on the other side of Xin Gang Lu. The hotel is at 419 Xin Gang.
When you enter the hotel, you'll be greeted by a girl who will ask if you want the spa. She'll escort you to the elevator, where you'll go to the 10th floor. There you'll see the front desk for the spa and a sign advertising their services. Obviously, they don't advertise any sexual services. It took me a while to explain what I wanted to the girls at the desk.
They advertise a number of services, including Hong Kong massage, Chinese massage and Thai massage. I honestly don't know the differences between those styles.
What happens next is standard for Chinese spas. You'll go to the locker room, where an attendant will take your clothes, put them in your locker and give you a wrist band with your locker number and key on it. You'll put this around your wrist and head to the shower room.
At this point you have the option of getting into the jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms. I passed on this, as hanging out with a bunch of naked Chinese guys is not what I came there for.
I then exchanged my towel for the spa robe (which costs 15 RMB) and was escorted by the hostess to the lounge, where they have a bar, some comfortable chairs and a television set. I wasn't interested in this either, as the Chinese guys there were all smoking, and I was anxious to get on with my massage anyway.
The hostess took me to a back room for my massage. Now, the drawback here is that you apparently don't get to choose your massage girl, which means that it's kind of the luck of the draw. You could end up with a girl who's fat or skinny, attractive or unattractive. It depends on what they give you. There may be a way to choose here, but I wasn't aware of it.
After a couple of minutes, the massage girl came in. She wasn't what I had hoped for, as she was pretty chubby and not very attractive, but I wasn't going to send her away. She gave me a great massage, and then started to offer me "extra" services. I told her that I wanted full service, and she went to get a condom.
She did give me a good BBBJ before putting the condom on. The sex was really pretty good and enthusiastic. Afterwards, she continued with the massage, and must have massaged me for 90 minutes at least.
After the session, I went back to the shower room, took a shower, and then went back to the locker room, put my clothes on, tipped the attendants 20 RMB and went back to the front desk to pay.

Overall I was very satisfied with my experience at the Jinruilin Hotel spa. The massage girl wasn't especially attractive, but she was very enthusiastic. I honestly prefer a girl who's not as attractive but gives great, enthusiastic service over a stunner who's a cold fish, as I've had at other spas in China and elsewhere.

this is my report:

Going to Canton Fair once again. OAH, CP is about 1.5hr drive from the City right? How do you go about going there? 1 Day trips?
Anyone know if the freeway from Dongguan to Guangzhou is still closed for repairs?

The highways between DG and GZ always seem to be under repair.

Under normal conditions:
If you're going to CP, just take the train. It will save you time and money and hassle (unless you really want to drive). The only places in DG better accessed by car are the other areas like Houjie, Changan, etc.
However, at present:
I wouldn't go anywhere by car because the freeway is under construction. The repairs for the GZ-SZ direction are done so getting there is smooth, but the repairs for SZ-GZ just got underway so coming back is pure hell. PURE HELL!!! Trust me, I know. Completely kills the post-experience glow.
