I'm new at this whole business. I called someone by the name of Taina in Delhi. We agreed on a price and she said there was an incall location somewhere. We agreed to meet at a restaurant in Defence Colony. After arriving there this woman came in and introduced herself as Taina's friend. She said Taina was wary of customers and had sent her instead. She asked me for the money, which I handed over. Then she said she had to leave and give it to Taina first, then she would come and get me. Well, she left, and never came back. I tried phoning her, and the person who answered the phone (I think the same person I had met) introduced herself as Taina and demanded why I had given the money to this "friend." You can imagine I was really angry and confused at this point. Anyway, I got totally screwed over, and it was very annoying. I don't know if anyone has done business with "Taina", but that was my experience. This happened in July, so it's been a while now. Better luck to you guys.

That you are new is obvious. You have been suckered and you have paid to learn the ropes in your hobby. It is cheaper to so some research in the pages of the forums. Golden Rule - Never pay till after the deed!!

Try hotel Rahul Palace (you can book it through travelocity). In my opinion, Ajanta is a total crap and will find ways to charge you extra money.

TOI stands for The Times of India, a daily newspaper from Delhi. Check out the "Health & Physical Fitness" section in the classifieds. Same section appears in another daily, The Hindustan Times.

But please do read the forum and take care not to over-pay or get taken for a ride. Quite a few of the latter is occuring in Delhi these days.

I'm going to be visiting Delhi from 22 Nov to 1 Dec on business and need a bit of advice. Does anyone know of internet providers who offer dialup internet which can be paid for online using a credit card? I did a google search and as expected got about a million pages of junk. Most ISP's accept online payment and then send you a "registration pack" by mail which is not what I want. What I'm looking for is something more along the lines of a Wifi Hotspot- buy time online.

There are three choices at Surajkund. I am listing below in the scale of cost an quality (top to bottom):

1. Hotel RajHans: Its a four star hotel with room service and all good amenities. You can check in 12noon and get out in the evening with all day fun. They know and don't ask question who is with you. Please make sure you tip the receptionist. I still remember my sweet old days at RajHans.

2. Motel: Cheaper than Hotel RajHans.

3. Huts: Cheapest and quite. Every one knows what’s going on there.

If you care for privacy and avoid any possible hassle/LE etc, stick with Hotel or Motel.
