Thanks for the info so far, keep it coming. I have seen a lot of discussion about the price for a ST / LT. With the data provided in this thread I want to compare it to Dutch prices.
Thailand: 7/11 employee 9000 TB / month, average worker 18000 TB / month, ST 3000 TB. In Holland the counterpart of a 7/11 employee would earn the minimum wage, appr 1400 euro net per month. The GDP is 50.000 euro / caput, which renders 2500 net per month (subtracting holiday bonus and taxes). From the 7/11 employee situation 3000 TB would relate to 1400 * 3000/9000 = 467 euro. From the average income situation 3000 TB would relate to 2500 * 3000/18000 = 417 euro.
The figures are quite similar which renders it some credibility. The outcome is very high. I cannot imagine any Dutch taking a short time for that kind of money. The only equivalent I know off is 3 hours for 900 euro but than you get a beauty with a Masters degree (or a scam). Amsterdam RLD is 100 euro per 30-40 minutes max. So 3000 TB seems to be a lot of money for ST.

When you consider that the average salary in KL is close to 2 K USD and the average salary in BKK is closer to 500 USD. And the cost of living in BKK is not really that much if any cheaper than KL. I believe the average salary compared to the cost of living tells you quite a bit about a place.
