And I know some of these guys refuse to acknowledge that I qualified my statements with the cost of plane tickets and the length of the visit, so it is whatever.

As other mongers have pointed out- one also needs a preference for Asian girls. Once you get used to BBFS and CIP it's really tough to settle for anything else. Another factor is the scenic beauty of the area- from stunning karst formations in the South, to beautiful temples and beaches- you can produce photos for your insta and cover your mongering tracks so friends and family don't get suspicious. And yes, for someone who was happy with all covered service and coming from the USA for 2 weeks- there would be no reason not to hop on a $300 roundtrip plane to Medellin. But for someone like myself with my preferences stated above who has 2-3 months to travel- why would I deny myself the things I like just to save $1000, which honestly is not really a lot of money.
The other component of the argument- that factoring in overhead, cost per fuck starts to approach other more expensive locations (Dubai, USA, Germany) also for me doesn't make sense. I'd rather discover a girl is a waste of money by spending 1500 baht ($40) than $150 in Dubai / Germany or $500 in the USA. And again on a longer trip than 2 weeks this math doesn't work anyway.

Been on a bit of a massage binge lately. As far as the "holiday" argument I call BS on that. Aside from other countries offering much better vacation scenery and activities than Pattaya, Even people who come to thailand for the vacation experience do not come to pattaya for that. They go to phuket, samui, lipe kr basically anywhere else in pattaya. And in those cities sex is more expensive and less options. It's not uncommon for a punter to come to pattaya and recruit a cheap girlfriend to travel to other thailand destinations to fill the sex part, but that completely changes and increases all of the other financial calculations.
