I stumbled across a new (ish) legit massage joint a few weeks back. Its on the rooftop floor of a hotel on mina road. They have a selection of Chinese, Vietnamese and Filipino chicks. Spent the weekend in Abu Dhabi down town. Decided that I had not been to Ally Pally for some time. Stopped by, if anything this place is consistent. There are a PRC and Africans. More PRC than anything. Sat down to watch a football game. Got pretty much mobbed coming in the door. Which is frustrating, but expected. To which, of course, a few fella's had to come out and claim I hadn't done ANY research, nor had I contributed to their board, or here on the Abu Dhabi board. So on that note, here is my contribution to the cause:

I had found a list somewhere on the internet of hotel bars where "working" ladies might be found ([URL]http://www.expats.org.uk/countryinfo/abdabpubguide.html[/URL]) I printed this and brought this valuable piece of information with me before my move to Abu Dhabi. This print out did indeed become invaluable! Although the intel was a few years old, most of it was spot on, with only a few changes in the scene here in Abu Dhabi.

The Blitz, at the Hotel Mercure on Hamdan St.

This place is loaded with Chinese ladies, every night of the week. You will get the occasional African ladies (usually Nigerian) sprinkled in on the weekends. I find the Chinese ladies to be very attractive. Although many of them are not in their 20's anymore. But they dress real nice, they are usually very polite and not too pushy. And they all have that thick, long, dark hair that I love to run my fingers through.

Most of these ladies will take you back to their place. Which is usually a small room they rent in a building near Salam St. Salam St. Is actually closer to another hotel with two bars called "Dana hotel", which I'll cover later in this post. The rooms are usually somewhat poor, but clean. I felt a little uneasy the first time a lady took me to one of these rooms. But I now feel more comfortable, in that they are clean and safe. Some ladies will take you to a room that several ladies will share. Each with their own "living space" within the room, divided by curtains.

I was staying at a hotel my first couple of weeks here until I found my own place, and I much preferred taking a lady back to MY room. But this isn't an option at my permanent living arrangement.

Now. The entrance to The Blitz is actually located just around the corner of the building from the front lobby of the Mercure hotel. There's a door charge to get in on the weekends. About 75 -100 Dirams (I think Thurs. Nights are 75 and Fri. Nights are 100). But you get two drink vouchers for this door charge, so it's about an even trade. I don't mind it at all.

Outside the Mercure hotel, you'll find even MORE "working" girls. These ladies won't be dressed quite as nicely as the one's working inside The Blitz. And most of them will not be as pretty, fit or young. But I've found a few out there that "trip my trigger', so to speak. In fact, my favorite, works outside, rather than inside.

The outside ladies are again, predominantly Chinese. But later in the evening, say after 11 pm or so, you'll find African ladies working outside. But the ladies seem to segregate themselves. Chinese ladies work in front of the Mercure complex, African ladies work in back. (The Mercure hotel is actually connected to a mall with shops. The hotel staff of the Mercure will actually "shoo away" the ladies and the crowd of men, if they begin hanging out in large numbers, too close to the hotel entrance.

Speaking of the "crowd of men" you will see groups of 5-6 men loitering along the walkway where these "outside" ladies work. They are predominantly Indian and Pakistani men, I believe. I believe they are possibly the predominant customer of these outdoor working ladies. But sometimes I see the ladies shoo'ing the men away too. So I suspect many of these men are simply "gawkers", with little or not money.

I've never seen any LE intervene with these outside working ladies. The only intervention that I have personally seen by LE, is when the crowd of men gets overwhelmingly large late at night on the weekends, and a LE cruiser will drive through the area. This automatically disperses the crowd. The Indian and Pakistani men practically run at the mere sight of a LE cruiser. I kinda giggled to myself the first time I saw this.

Next stop. Al Air Dana hotel (but everybody, including taxi drivers, simply call it "Dana" hotel).

Here, you will find two separate venues. The Trap, and 49'ers.

The Trap is located within the lobby, and up a couple flights of very narrow stairs. This place is probably my favorite, for two primary reasons.

1) I love a place that almost always has more ladies than men.

2) I love ladies with the more "athletic / hard body" build.

The Trap has both of these attributes. It's absolutely LOADED with ladies. Nearly all African's. Mostly Nigerian, but sometimes Ghanian. And I did meet an absolutely delicious lady there just the other night from Cameroon. Good God was she beautiful! And that's what you'll get here. If you don't like black ladies, this place is not for you. But if you ARE one of those fella's that rules out spending time with a lady, solely on the basis that she's black. I say you are crazy! Because the ladies in The Trap are all absolutely adorable, and with incredible hard bodies! Many of them look like track athletes, which I personally love!

Another plus is that all the African ladies speak excellent English. Which is a plus, because many of the Chinese ladies do not speak much English, and this fact often makes it difficult to communicate to them, what you like.

Now, also in the Dana hotel is 49'ers. This was a big mention on Doug's Famous Bar Guide that I obtained from the internet before I left my home country to move to Abu Dhabi. And I can see why.

49'ers is a nice, spacious club with a very nice (but pricey) restaurant right there, connected to the bar. The restaurant serves various "Western" dishes that will clog your arteries quite nicely. The ladies don't start showing up here until about 9:30 pm. So I've found it nice to arrive around 8 pm, have a nice dinner, and then simply wait for the ladies to flow in.

You'll find that 49'ers has a nice variety of ethnicities. You'll find Chinese and Eastern bloc ladies (from all those countries near Russia that end with "stan", eg. Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, ect.), predominantly. Occasionally on the weekends, I've seen a few African ladies wander up from The Trap to 49'ers. Quite honestly, I rarely see any Eastern bloc ladies that I'm attracted to. They are pretty, but not fit at all! Sometimes downright overweight, which I am actually repulsed by, rather than attracted to. So it will be hard to quote an average price these ladies ask for. I did have one exceptional occasion, when I spotted this girl in 49'ers who had been a gymnast in her youth. An amazing, tight body on that girl. She quoted me 1500 Diram to spend time with her (not sure if she meant an hour or all night), and she stated that she did not have a place for us to go to, nor would she go to my place. She would only go with me to a hotel room.

Overall, I like both 49'ers and The Trap. And I like the fact that they are in the same hotel and I can visit them both if I want, very easily, on the same night's excursion.

Both 49'ers and The Trap have an entrance door charge, that gets you drink tickets, every day of the week. Unlike The Blitz at Mercure, which only charges a door charge on the weekends. Again, these door charges don't bother me, because I would end up buying a few drinks and spending the money anyway.

Next up, the Ally Pally at the Al Ain Palace hotel on the Corniche.

This was the very first place I went to on my first night out in Abu Dhabi. It's an ok place. It has the "door charge for drink tickets" thing going every night of the week. Inside you will see an equal mix of hardbodied African's and nearing middle age Chinese ladies. I like the Ally Pally! But once I discovered The Blitz, 49'ers and The Trap, I hardly felt the need to go back to the Ally Pally.

Of note, the ladies at the Ally Pally are VERY aggressive! 4 or 5 of them will be hanging out at the entrance door, waiting on men. You most likely will literally have a lady grabbing your arm and latching on to you, before you can make your way to the bar for a drink. I've found that I have to be very aggressive in telling a lady that does this to me, that I'm just getting a drink before I want to talk.

I forgot to mention that The Trap is a little bit like this too. They ladies there are quite aggressive. But it's not as annoying as at The Ally Pally, in my opinion.

Illusions, on the 4th floor of the LE Royal Meridian hotel.

I honestly can't speak much about this place. The LE Royal Meridian hotel is a bit more flashy, which you can tell as soon as you walk into the entrance. Therefore, make sure you have pants on if you visit Illusions. (They declined me entrance on a Tuesday evening when I showed up in shorts.) But I did go back at around 9 pm the following week and there were virtually 4 guys and no ladies there at that time. I hung around until almost 10, when finally some Eastern bloc ladies appeared. None of which I found attractive at all. Also, the temperature in that place was way too cold for my liking. So I left that evening and have not returned.

As for prices. Of course, it will vary. My best guess is, that the average these ladies, both Chinese and African, are asking, is about 500 Dirams for an hour or so. I've heard that the Eastern bloc ladies ask for more, but I've only had that one occasion with the former gymnast, to speak of. I've not found any other Eastern bloc ladies that I've been interested enough in to even ask their fees for their time.

I can say that I've come across a few ladies working outside of Mercure hotel area, who offered their services for as low as 300 Dirams. And I found one devastatingly gorgeous, hardbodied Nigerian lady in The Blitz, who requested 800 Dirams. But most of the ladies will suffice with 500 Dirams or thereabouts.

Lastly, I haven't gotten a room at any of the hotels where these clubs are, so I can't speak on the hotel's rules for taking a lady to your room. Perhaps others could share their knowledge on this subject.

Had some time the other day and headed over to the hotel that has the desert bird name (cloak and dagger shit, sorry).
