Santo Domingo travel report, day one, July 15
My Jet blue flight to SDQ was scheduled on 7:00 am, a short 40 minute flight from Puerto Rico. I showed up to Jet Blue check in desk and they told me: “Boricuaonline, you do not have reservations for this flight.” I said “What, I have evidence that I made a reservation a month ago. I showed up my papers and then she told me: “look here, you did a reservation from Santo Domingo to Puerto Rico, not from San Juan to Santo Domingo” Oh my!, I was afraid of to lose my vacation. The girl told me that the 7:00 a.m. flight was sold but that I can leave at 6:22 p.m. Just imagine, a guy that do not sleep all night waiting 12 additional hours at the airport. I paid a $100 fee for my mistake and was on waiting list for the 7:00 a.m. flight. Lucky me, I got a space on the flight and arrived to SDQ at 8:00 a.m.
I bought a 500 pesos Claro card on airport drugstore and got a 120 pesos bonus plus 50 pesos bonus for being a Claro client for more than one year.
My 750 pesos taxi arrived and I was on Riazor before 10:00 a.m. My room was not going to be available until 11:00 am so I leave my bags at hotel lobby and went to Villar Hermanos for breakfast. I noticed that Villar now charges the 10% legal tax which is supposed to be divided between employees but that on 99% of the situation the house takes that money for them and the employee never sees a dime. So please, tip these employees that earn less than a hundred US dollars per month working 50-60 hours per week. The 16% itebis tax is the equivalent of US sales tax. So now Villar is like the other places, charging 26% taxes on goods sold.
I walk down to Franks on el Conde to change dollars to pesos, the rate was 36.7, on Banco Popular it was 36.2 pesos per dollar, on the “We do not charge commissions” place on the airport the currency exchange rate was 31.7 pesos per dollar. I continue walking to Conde de Penalba and saw a cute streetgirl on the Plaza, she looked young so I asked her age, she told me 18 but do not have a cedula, I estimated her age to be 15 or 16. I walked back all Paseo El Conde and identified a few street girls, more than in past trips and it was like 11:00 am so it is good news. There were 3 other girls on Pacos, one was very pretty but my hotel room was not ready and I do not like sex after a meal so I continue walking back to my hotel. I was the only customer when I arrived to GBP, about 10 chicas. I noticed somebody was behind me and the shhhhh begun, I looked back and it was Heidy. She told me she can go with me for $60, now that she is outside of Jaragua and don’t have to tip hotel security and I said ok, so we walked to Independencia by Melia Santo Domingo exit. On Riazor she stayed for an hour, we have average sex but I was happy to see again the body of Miss Perfect body 2006, not a perfect body anymore, but still a cute girl. That ended day one of my trip.

Santo Domingo travel report, day 2, July 16
i always have a plan b or c or d in santo domingo if plan a do not show. there is a sweet dilemma when a,b, c or d are all available and willing to visit me at the same time. it happened to me during all my stay, chicas calling while i was with other/others.
