Now I must admit that my one and only visit to Sosua was in 2016, imagine The Tall Man at 6'-7" 250 lb white man with blonde hair (I stand out everywhere I roam) spent 1.5 weeks in this "Passport Bro" playground called The Sue, and yes I did enjoy myself but just, yes even the Brothers really made me feel welcome, it just was not my thing.
So for the past 10 years I am living in Medellin, outside of Medellin, and have traveled everywhere in Colombia and the all of South America for that matter.
Now that Sosua is off the list I am thinking of heading for 2 weeks to Havana, Cuba in November. I was there 10 years ago and just thinking of mixing up my P4P a bit.

I was a regular in the Sue for 13 years plus and did several hundred chicas. Possibly because of my excellent judge of character I only ran into 2 girls who wanted to toot. Wasn't there a time when Vegas was known as "Sin City"?
As a single guy, I've been there, and it's fun; the girls are everywhere, but you can also do other stuff too. Would I want to bring my family there? No, the traffic is crazy, and you can't walk three blocks without being offered some drugs. But the people are good, I feel pretty safe in most areas, and the food and weather are good too. Perhaps a bit of balance is needed; let's hope it doesn't get gentrified too quickly.

The vast majority of pass port bro are great guys and being a weekend warrior is a smart move for how Sosua evolved. Haitians and pass port bros are being scaped goated for why things are being shut down. The real reason is rich investors want the property at a bargain price. The locals were adjusted to the Sosua streets. So they avoided the strip. When I 1st started going to Sosua there were three times as many people on the streets. Sosua was a party 7 days a week. The shut down 5 years ago chased away some classy chicas from Santiago and other barrios around the DR. Sosua became a weekend party town. I have a great roster but why would I post up in Sosua and import women. Other then the beaches Sosua has nothing compelling. What made it worth while was the fellowship of the bros and the influx of new talent on a weekly basis. I had my regulars but being able to fine diamonds in the rough was intriguing.
We are being given a load of BS about fights, drugs and underage girls being sex trafficking. All totally over blown. I live in the US and Sosua was safer the any city I ever visited in he states. The set up is the government is coming in to save Sosua for the families. That is the excuse being used to destroy the livelihood of few thousand people. Do not get it twisted this is about greed rich guys are lining their pockets while little guys are being turnout.

I think you are forgetting that the majority of people that live in Sosua go nowhere near Pedro Clisante and their livelihood is just fine. Have you ever been to Sosua Abajo or Charamicos? I would say less than 1% of those people depend on the Clisante strip for their livelihood. Remember there are tons of towns just like Sosua without the mongering and those towns seem to be surviving just fine. To think that removing in your face mongering from one street in the area is going to financially destroy the town is ridiculous.
The locals have lived the hookers for many years and were used them posting. They are being used as an excuse bright boy. It is so obvious Stevie can see it. There are scores of businesses that have been devastated. Everything from supermarkets to barbers shops. Give it time the square blocks will be empty.

Certain people may have been tolerated more than welcomed and the government finally did something about it, after dragging their feet for about 10 years.

You know that shit was not normal, but some guys get so wrapped up in this hobby that they can not see the forest because of the trees. The major change in Sosua over the years have nothing to do with the mongers. Ballers have always been in Sosua. Especially in Classico.
