Since coming to Thailand I had to learn to be more polite than I was naturally. We are not used to be being approached by unwanted people in our home countries most likely. So it used to annoy me a lot more than it does now.

So rather than give Thai people angry words, when they try to grab my bag or hassle me, I am more serenely calm in the modern day. My main tactic is to ignore. My GF says I have changed a lot being a much calmer person, not pissed off very easily. Even is something undesired occurs in a bar, I can ignore it, I don't have to leave in a big temper just because there is one or two annoying people in there.

The more nice you are, the harder it can be to get rid of unwanted people. I hate girls arriving uncalled and then trying to massage me.

It is very important to realise that everything you do sets a precedent. If you buy the mamasan a drink or the waitress a drink, she will come to you regularly, so think carefully first, is this something you want? I have one very good waitress at Crazy House that I am more than happy to keep and will help her too. Number S1. I used to like one other waitress Noi originally, but she changed to be a dancing girl. I still support her a little bit too.

I don't see how to get rid of unwanted people other than by at least ignoring them. If others can recommend a great approach, that would be nice.

I am actually a softy but have had to try to learn to be a bit more hard hearted. You cannot look after everyone. You have to be selective about which girls you want the company of.

So I never want to chat too much to anyone that is annoying or not useful to me. I prefer to be left in peace. If you like being swamped by the staff, you act generously to all, if you like to sit alone, you have to be quite aloof even if not quite downright unfriendly. I don't want to be swamped too many coming to me. So have to try to flick on the "mean" switch at times.

It can feel like a Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde type thing, where I can try to be exceptionally nice to some, and completely disinterested (if not mean) to others.

As far as some of them not being "barfineable", of course virtually everyone has a price in this regard. If you want to put the time and money into it, you could probably get The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton to go with you for ST if you were a handsome movie star and could convince her that "solving world hunger" were on the line. And, yes, if the time was exactly right, the money was exactly right, the need was extreme enough and, possibly, if the customer was right in some way, even the hottest Coyote standing outside the bars on Soi Cowboy who hardly ever steps inside long enough to dance could be "barfined".

However, aside from the kind of clothing they wear, whether they are wearing tights (pantyhose) or not and so on, one of the fastest and most certain ways to find out if the girl standing along Soi Cowboy who loops her arm into yours and tries to drag you into a bar to starting buying drinks is a Coyote is to simply ask her, "Are you a Coyote?" The girl will almost certainly admit it and say yes if she is a Coyote. Then, to find out if she has any intention whatsoever of being barfined by you (or by almost anyone, imo), simply ask her, "How much is the barfine to take you out?" Many if not most of those hotties standing outside the bars along Soi Cowboy will immediately drop the "act", drop the smile, drop your arm and step away from you. She knows you are on to the scam and that she has just been busted. They not only don't have a barfine option for you at any price, they are so unconnected to the entire concept of a "barfine" to leave their real job (of just standing outside, looking good and cajoling customers to come into the bar) and go with a customer, they don't even know what the barfine cost is for any real go-go dancers who might work in that bar.

She knows what she does and so do I, the only thing is what makes her diff is she " gets to decide who she goes out with" and " doesn't do stuff in bed which many do".
