A stroll through Soi 6 is a little depressing.
Not that I want to start getting all grumpy again, I am at the right place. But so far that has not been Soi 6. Last night trying to find any massive Loi Kratong light float event up and down the central beach (which I did not find) I took a stroll through Soi 6 again (only the second time I am here). And once again, it was rather depressing, especially compared to the Soi Bukhao area where I am preferring it. I did not force it, I guess I could have gone into some bar and sit there, and see what would happen, but walking by I was meeting mostly ignorant faces who looked away, or even rudely walked around me to invite some other dudes (presumably Japanese, because they held some Japanese signs.) I mean, I don't need to be excessively hollered at, that can be annoying too, but the ignorance and right out rudeness is rather annoying.
Something's got to be done.
Too many reports of Bargirls not being nice to us customers, myself included.
What are you going to do about it?
I'm going on a Diet. Lose 200 pounds of my 700 hulk-a-maniac type frame.
I'm hearing Bargirls want Hansum over money. Hahaha. I'm giving them what they want.
So I do not have any weight to lose, let alone 200 pounds.
I think one should simply hold it with the motto "go where you are treated best" and that means, boycott places where you're not treated well.
The way I see it, it's not like there are soooo many guys there. Most of the Soi 6 bars that I saw were empty or had one or just a few dudes in them, some even sitting alone.
My diagnosis is that these girls have way too cushy contracts with these bars, they can just stand there doing nothing, being unpleasant, holding out for a prince or whatever. They'll go home with enough cash regardless. That is what this looks to me.
And the only answer to that is essentially not go there.
I find the area around Soi Bukhao much more pleasant. There you can just smile and get smiles in return. That Soi 6 place sucks, totally uninviting. I guess I might still one day go there and really hunt, but so far I find it a turn-off, so when I am there I have not much interest because it's not fun.
