Appreciate Halcyon's report. I've too mongered around a bit - Buenos Aires, Medellin, Mexico, Montreal and Seoul. My main gripe about Korea is that in Anma-s or Sports Massage places, you cannot view/choose the girls.

In my recent trip to Korea, I've visited probably 8 such places, and I ended up with what I'd call "acceptable" girl maybe 2 times. That's 6 sessions out of 8 where I had to close my eyes and imagine some porn scene to be able to pop!! Not a good return on investment. I did visit RLD in '01 (where you MAY be able to negotiate for the girl you want), but given the recent law-down I didn't visit during my trip in '07- anybody have recent info about this?

I'm a picky mofo and I cannot stand wasting my hard-earned money on some sub-par chick that I wouldn't want to do in a "normal" pick-up.

I've also been to room salons where you have group of girls parade infront of you before you can choose - but at close to $300-500 entrance fee/person just for the opportunity to pay more for a happy ending, I think I can do far better elsewhere.

I was taking a taxi home last night about 4am and the driver tried to cheat me by driving all the way out of Seoul while keeping me chatting. I was pretty drunk and didn't realise we were going the wrong way until I saw Hyundai Department Store. At that point I was a long way from home and thought I may as well check out the RLD.

I walked up and down all the rows several time, and did not get a single bit of interest from ANY of the girls. They would lean out when they heard me coming, and then close the door when they saw I was white, and refuse to even look at me. There were probably about 20 girls working at that time, and most of them looked like they had OK bodies, although I didn't see any stunners.

I asked one girl who was standing in a doorway in Korean if she wouldn't take me and she gave me a very cold answer.

I wasn't really annoyed because I had expected it anyway and there was no major talent there, but I don't understand why these girls don't want my money. Maybe if I wear a hat or dye my hair black I'll have more success...

Anyway after that I headed home and tried a double barber pole place close by. The ajumma who answered the door was about 40, the place was deserted by that time, about 530am, and she asked for 60,000won. I said 50 and started walking when she said no. She called me back and led me to a tiny room with a curtain. I tried to stick my hand in her dress and she rudely told me off so I said I was leaving and headed for the door. She told me to go in rude Korean, and that was that.

The RLD that Halycon is referring to is the same one I just discussed. It is located in Cheonho on subway line 5 (purple). To find it walk out Exit 3 and go straight until a large intersection. When you get to the corner you will be diagonally opposite an SK gas station. Turn right. Walk until you see a pedestrian crossing. When you cross the road there should be a large outlet store called 2001 Outlet and a Police Stand on your left. Walk down the street directly in front of you, you should already be able to see the red lights. Don't worry about the cops. Once inside just explore the maze.

As Halycon said, the best girls seemed to be located on the fork which you get when you take the first right coming from the direction of the Police Stand.

I just tried the same place (I think) that was mentioned by AvidWriter today and it was a pleasant experience. I was never a good writer, but I will give it a try.

She then asked to flip over and did a nice hand job that lasted for at least 5 minutes. It was slow and skillful with ball play and non rushed BBHJ. She then cleaned me and offered a shower and a drink; I declined the shower and asked for nook cha (green tea). On the way out, I paid 70,000 won.

Overall, it was a good and pleasant experience and I would repeat. The massage was good but not as intense with back walk and really hot towels as a typical barber shop. There was no BJ or FS, but for the price paid, it was pretty good. Five years ago, near downtown Seoul, I got all the above plus BJ and FS for the same price, I am not sure I can find such bargains any more.

Got into wandering the little side streets, being basic tourist, looking at everything. Coex isn't really in Korea. It's part of a country called Mallville, which is pretty much the same anywhere in the world. I'm not much of a hand job fan, but this was a truly world-class massage, so I'm back in my room with a bottle of *amazingly* overpriced whiskey to help me get to sleep, generally happy.

There was a serious language barrier. The ladies spoke no English, and I speak no Korean. But a smile is universal, and I felt totally welcome and as thought my business was appreciated.

Natch, I'd appreciate it if anyone can give me usable clues/directions to a more sex-oriented place either within walking distance or a non-crazy cab ride of the Coex Intercontinental. I wasn't sure if a place where the only English words on the sign were "golf - health - sauna" meant it was a massage joint in disguise, and I didn't want to embarrass myself.

As Ronnio spilled the beans! The place is Cheonho, take exit 3, go staight to the first light, make a right, and then look on the left for the police station. Just go down that alley and you are there. If you want to avoid the police stand, instead of making the right at the light, go a little staight, and make the first right. Or, you after you make the right at the light, pass the police station, and there are two alleys you can take. Hope that helps, I know its confusing!

Oh, I don't use a video camera, I just use the video function on my digital camera, hence, the quality is poor. But I can mess around with the video settings, and get a decent view on playback.

Walk to the west, toward the Seollung Station direction; you would head this way anyway for your whiskey-and-blowjob Room Salon/KTV excursions. At the end of this long 500m block, on the northern, right-hand side of the street you will find the package store. A bottle of decent 12-year whiskey would be less than W35,000, and vodka around W23,000-27,000. As an alternative to Tampa package stores, it's not a bargain -- but as an alternative to the honor bar in your room, this can't be beat.

Yep, take line #5 purple to Janghanpyeong Station, come out of, I believe it's exit #2 --- and just walk down the street, you'll see plenty of the barber shop poles.

I don't know how much prices are now -- but I remember negotiating for 80,000 KRW, and I never paid more than that, though I noticed others paying 10-20K more.

Then again, I am Korean(-American)... so maybe that had something to do with it. I never saw any foreigners there though, so I can't say whether or not they're accepted much.

You can read up. But, here's my conclusion... Since you don't look Korean, the BEST chance to get p4p with quality girls and bb anything is to befriend a Korean. Korea is great for p4p IF you're Korean, but it's insanely tiresome (walking door to door) for average foreigner. (I don't make up this reality, so don't complain to me or this board since it's been discussed over & over & over again.)

Don't befriend those agents who are trying to get you to their juicy bars because those bars will suck you dry of $ without fun. Befriend a cool Korean who enjoy p4p and will show you around. This second option may work, although I can't speak for non-Koreans because I am a Kyopo. If you speak some Korean, find a decent young (20-26 yo) cab driver that likes p4p too. I attached a photo of what an anma sign looks like.
