I would suggest you to walk the night to the Kotokuraba Sq. , at the Cancer Statue. Two spots: Hacienda Plaza and The Pantry are meeting point for girls who don't like to sleep alone.

In the daytime with sunny weather go to the beachside close to Viktoria Park. A nice beach resort with bar, palm trees and seats will ensure you to find a soulmate for the rest of the day.

Another resource are the Commercial St. And Castle Rd. , night and day with some interesting drinking spots.

Trip to Elmina suggested, just to change the landscape.

Having done extensive research, Macumba was my venue of choice in Accra. It was walking distance from my hotel. It was an actual disco, rather than a boring bar. Even though I knew exactly where it was on the map, I still had considerable difficulty finding the place. During a daytime recce mission, I finally stumbled upon the sign pointing to the entrance.

When I returned late evening, the place was deserted. A taxi driver confirmed Macumba was permanently closed. Bummer!

On my 1st night in Jokers, I took my time to survey the talent & pick the perfect fuck doll. The chosen one was Princess. Our bodies were in perfect sync as we swayed to the rhythm. That experience was an eye-opener. ISG reports had led me to believe 150 GHS was the correct price to pay. If so, why would Princess prefer to go home alone, rather than accept my offer?

On subsequent visits, I found out Princess was not the exception, but the rule. Girls quoted me figures in USD. Bad fucking sign! Girls had the nerve to ask for an outrageous 600 GHS. Not a single girl would accept less than 200 GHS! Even for 200 GHS, some girls turned me down, insisting on 300 GHS. The final straw was when I was told that the guys paying ridiculous amounts of money are not foreigners, but rich locals. WTF?

Anyway, the food at Jokers restaurant (outside terrace) was surprisingly good, as well as moderately priced. I had dinner there most nights I was in Accra.

To enter the bar, there's a cover charge of 10 GHS on weekdays & 20 GHS on weekends. No, that doesn't entitle you to a complimentary drink, only to a 2 GHS discount on a drink. Drinks cost a reasonable 9-12 GHS.

Jokers has a small dance floor, but it's mainly a bar with pool tables. As P4P venues go, it's a pretty boring place. I prefer dance floors packed with girls shaking their booty.

On Monday nights, Jokers is closed, so I ventured out to Vienna. At the entrance, I was given the option of a regular entrance ticket (10 GHS) or a VIP ticket (20 GHS). I told them I was black. LOL

I walked past the deserted dance floor & ordered a beer at the bar (Star: 7 GHS). I spotted a few unaccompanied girls, none of which were fighting in my weight category. Ghanaian law prohibits smoking in public places. Ridiculously enough, that includes the streets! While having a smoke outside Oxford Mall, I almost got arrested by plain clothes policemen (men in black LOL). Pleading ignorance, I got off with a warning. They made no attempt to solicit a bribe!

Do NOT smoke on the street in Ghana! Be especially careful on Oxford St, which has a huge police presence.

In true public places like Jokers & Vienna, smoking is allowed everywhere. Ghanaian logic!

Great report as always! My experience was similar to yours a few months back (see my trip report below). I was just as surprised with the attitude of the girls at Jokers regarding pricing. I ended up paying 170 GHS for a short time the night I was there. Most of the girls wanted minimum 200 GHS for short time and 300 to 600 GHS for long time. I had the chance to go back to Accra in December. This time around I stayed in Osu, which was very convenient. I can attest that Roots Hotel & Apartment is GF, as I brought two different girls there, with no questions asked. Some places fun to go check out include Rockstone's Office (in Cantonments, mostly middle class and socialite Ghanaian, very few pros), Bedouin (even fewer pros, good looking girls if you want to check out the scenery), and Republic (in Osu, great mix of expats and locals, with a few semi-pros sprinkled in). The choice is really between street meat and overpriced club ladies, unless one is prepared to dive into the Calabash or deal with the scene around Nkrumah Circle. Even the massage places have disappeared or are now outcall only. The one or two massage places that are left are really low on hygiene and quality.

I have not been in Accra for months now but I have heard that a whole new entertainment scene is opening up in the East Legon, including a number of restaurants and a possible Irish pub. Prices for everything in East Legon are much better than closer to the city centre and I heard that the area around the Mensvic Hotel in the evenings has plenty of ladies waiting to improve their income and are better quality than those around Lapaz.

But I think that the glory days for mongering in Accra are over. In fact, the countries nearby have better availability and are cheaper anyway. I am talking about Benin and Togo. Cannot speak for the others. But then you have to speak French to really access these.

I want to focus on the three topics above in this my first post, on account of some previous questions and comments in this forum.

Just came back from a long stay in Accra. 100 Cedis usually does the all night trick. 200 cedis is asked once in a while, but you can definitely negotiate it down to 150 if not 100 Cedis for the night.

Yes, since 2014 some things have gone up (eg prices on taking 'cars' (ie those 'public transport' minivans) have doubled from 1 cedi to 2 cedis per trip). But from 50- 100 cedis for a night all the way to 300 or 600 cedis. Well what can I say? Either we are destroying the local market for the next fellow or we have been had. But again. The concep tof a free market is not identical with the concept of a fair market. If a ghanaian working girl askd you 2000 dollars and you are willing to pay it. Well that is free enterprising.

Actually I can't foresee how can anyone have an issue since the lobby is so big to be scrutinized by the tiny and limited- vision-horizon reception desk at your right and you can walk with anyone there and go to the elevators to go to your room.

That said. I usually book a double room which usually is the same as single and never had issues taking someone at breakfast the morning after.

BTW, on the weekend and some weekdays they have special room rates that can be booked only via their own website.

Now. My thoughts about 100 or 150 dollars for a night?? See my previous post.

One hundred Cedi, or even two hundred, for a whole night is still a bargain, especially considering those wonderful African bodies these ladies carry around and are offering to you. Of the four "ladies" last night three were just perfect. Those great boobs (not udders) and those firm round asses! Drooling material.

Yes, 100 Cedis is a 'normal price' for an Obroni, but of course they will try the 200 or even 300 dollars. Please rest assured (and my sample is close to 10) that locals pay more like 20-40 cedis for an all night long adventure. But as I have mentioned in the past. If the right is 'bad' ie raining and no one on the street. You can get a hooker for just 3 cedis plus another 5-10 cedis for taxi. Or 3 cedis and breakfast. That, I have done it myself.

Please allow me to expression my own opinion. You should never thing what the dollar or the euro is to the cedi. It goes up an the down. Eg I think in June it was close to 5 cedis. And now it is obviously a lot less. Thing in Cedis, because that is the reality of that land. If you increase the rates / the 'market' will not deflate if the exchange rate is not favorite to foreign currency. Let's not shoot ourselves in the foot.
