In May I did my first stop at thermae and took an ok girl, was one of those just average experiences. My first time through I didn't notice many girls clearly not trying to engage, but also can't recall that many really trying to get my attention either. One thing I did find awkward I want to ask for some input on some more seasoned therma regulars is the conversation piece. I am only in town for a quick week and most of it is scheduled with regulars, but have 2 days for exploration so planning on hitting billboard, thermae, and maybe climax. Plus some oilies of course.

Given that most of the Thermae clientele are Japanese who aren't interested in any decent conversation. Within a few seconds of them approaching a girl she is grabbing her purse and off they go. I think this is what the girls are used to there. If you're an entertaining sort of guy I guess the Thermae girls will engage in a bit of conversation. The longest chat I have had was over 15 minutes with a pretty cool girl. She kept talking to me even after I said no. Unfortunately, not my taste physically. One thing you can try if you feel awkward standing there talking to a girl is ask if you can sit together in one of the dining booths, maybe even ordering some food which isn't that awful in Thermae. They may be hesitant of this since they don't want to lose their spot especially if it's wall to wall girls.

Can't say I understand it, but I never wear them. I do wear sandals and have been refused entry for that, to some places (not gogos). Interestingly, the Thais wearing sandals were not refused entry to one place, so it is not disrespectful for Thais to wear sandals. Feet are considered dirty in Thai culture, and of course they could be having walked through a muddy puddle, but who cares? The Thais do.

If you to come to terms with the gal you can start chit-chatting from there. Thermae certainly isn't the type place a guy who loves beer bars would go. I have, however, had a few legitimate conversations with a few guys while at Thermae all but one time they were Westerners (the other being a Korean that loved hard rock so we talked about music).

I don't know where you heard different. It certainly was not from many of us on this forum. They can be had for anywhere from 2,000-3,500ST / LT. I have never paid more than 2,500ST and 4,000 LT. Clubs like Mixx and Levels however will have ladies asking 5-6 K.

How do guys rate the overall mongering scene?

I normally rate how good a time I am having by the number of girl repeat sessions. In last two weeks plus, I have repeated only 4 times, 1 freelancer, 3 bargirls and zero MP girl repeats. Quite a few miscellaneous girls tried but not repeated. The 3 bargirl repeats were the best sessions for the two weeks. However this is very low for me. I am short of regulars available right now. Too many disappeared in the space of 3 months.

I wonder what motivates other guys to just keep changing girls all the time and how many sessions are considered really great. Or are you guys never happy with what you got?

I almost spent 1500 baht in clubs everyday over my and lady drinks, even on day when I did not take anybody home.

I was always dressed nicely with shoes, so certainly not refused because of my attire.

What to talk to them?

Ask them where they are from in Thailand, let them guess yours, compliment them on whatever you liked about their appearance, some have tattoo, do they like dancing, tickle them, keep laughing, make an effort to establish chemistry, hold their hand, ask if they want a drink. Compliment whatever you liked about Bangkok. Clubbing, food, music, girls.

The really cute one won't lower their charge much, but if you establish chemistry, you will get very good service in room.

The last gogo girl in her 3-4 years of gogo work had bought a home for herself in Bangkok fully paid, and a Camry too. So money they are less bothered about, be nice to them they will repay you by their service.

Negotiation is very subjective, but cute ones will not very much.

I believe the 500 Baht is a sort of test to find if you will spend money. Getting 400 back would be reasonable if you like the place (currently it is not great for me). Indians do have a reputation of being able to sit on one drink for the full duration. Japanese and Farangs do not have this reputation. The place needs customers that spend money. This is not the only factor but a significant one to take into account. I don't to go into all factors right now. I am sure I have covered it before.

Your report indicated that Indians who do spend money, will be admitted. Skin colour is no big deal I think. It is more a case of generalising on usefullness on the customers of this race.

Maybe Indians also have a reputation for not buying girls drinks as well or maybe just the girls stay away.

At Thermae, a girl did not want to talk to me. I don't know exactly why she does not like me. Her choice. I just have to find one that does want me.

She eventually relented, and I had her for 2500 baht ST. Generally, then, I think you can have ST for 2000-2500 baht, LT for 3500-4500 baht at Climaxx, depending on how much game you have and the chemistry between you and your target. Mixx is probably more like 3000 baht ST, 4500-5000 baht LT, and Spasso is *maybe* 4000 baht ST, 6000 baht LT (though it's been a while since I've been to Spasso).

So it might well be more economical to LT your Thermae girl, it's true, but if you want to bag two girls in one night, then Climaxx is certainly an option.

No head turns for me tonight but some girls clearly disinterested in every guy.

Billboard. Nana - Coolest club I have visited in Pattaya or BKK. Love the carousel. A fun place to be, Problem was other than 2-3 girls not much else talent wise. I'll take the top Pattaya gogo clubs and Baccara BKK over Billboard talent.

I thought I was ugly. Fat - old. Brown skin and I was paying top prices for these women but its strange to see American and European men pay so much.
