You could not make it 20 mtrs on Suk after 10 pm without hearing "go with you. ' And back then I almost never repeated with gals. There was no need to. The idea was volume and new. So yes, I was very satisfied.

But I would say it is not a slam dunk that I will find a new winning combination of looks and skills every week. So I will repeat with a select handful of girls every week or two while still surveying, interviewing and testing out new talent in between. But living here allows for that approach a bit more than when someone is here for only 1-2 weeks on holiday. Even on foot, especially at night, it is a leisurely and easy walk from one to the other.

The worst you can do, relatively speaking, is having your hotel somewhat half-way between Nana and Soi Cowboy: they you always have to walk, whereas if you are close to one or the other, you have the choice to take the Skytrain.

Which hotels are girl friendly and come recommended? As far as I know almost all hotels in that area are girl friendly (if in doubt email them and ask about their joiner policy) and recommendations are difficult to make: what do you need in the hotel and what budget do you have are the first questions you need to answer for yourself. Then go to a site such as [URL]www.booking.com[/URL] or similar, fill in the form and tick the boxes of the amenities and price level you wish and let their database server do the work for you.

[/QUOTE]I can't really agree. My Buddy stays at On 8. I guess its right at Nana BTS. So is Soi 11. Even half way between Nana BTS and Asoke BTS, its still an easy walk, or motorcycle ride to the BTS. Did you know the two BTS stations are only 600 metres apart. So half way is only 300 metres from BTS. Weather is not that hot. Staying in between is still better than staying in Soi 4, which significant problems for taxis to get in and out. Radison Blu other side of Asoke is virtually the perfect location for my requirements (about 400 metres from BTS and MRT), even though I have been visiting Nana more frequently. Other nearby Hotels also good. Westin and Terminal 21 are also good location as are some other Soi 19 Hotels like Silq, etc.

I think the worst choice is to stay very deep down some Soi, a long way from Sukhumvit, unless you are always happy to grab a motorcycle to send you to desired place. Just my personal opinion. Deep in a Soi adds much distance to get to the BTS.

Then it is just a case of choose a Hotel that is either classy (Column is as "high" as I go LOL), or modern good value for money (Mermaid). Both are 500 metres from BTS station, and similar distance to MRT (underground).

There are a hell of a lot of good options.

I usually try to specify my personal biases, even very repetitively so, so that the reader can know if my post has relevance to them or not.

Some guys hate bars and like massage parlors. The girls are not so good looking in most MPs (I regularly fail to choose a girl and move on), but the service and skills may be better.

[/QUOTE]I am in the weird category of living here 4 months per year. Work mostly overseas, sometimes can bring work from Thailand. Experienced but not having all the time in the world to spend on girls. Hence largely STs and not looking for "dates". I admit I just want the girls mostly for sex, excepting when I really click with a girl. The closer your lodging is to Suk and a BTS / MRT station the better.

SL.[/QUOTE]Yes I live only 50 metres from Sukhumvit so can get a taxi easily when pouring with rain, however that can be said of any major Soi with good taxi service. Its 300 metres to the BTS, which is too far if really pouring with rain, normally okay. I went to BTS other day with umbrella but was certainly quite damp from thigh down (even though not drenched). If very hot, wet pants will dry very quick. If its not hot they may take a while. I was heading to Billboard so ended up sitting in there with rather damp jeans.

You can get a taxi on Sukhumvit Soi 4 but it is more problematic to get to where you want to go from there. One way roads, forbidden turns problems, heavy traffic. So not a desirable location to stay for me, unless my target places are all located there.

The rain in Thailand can come down like a bucket of water is being poured on you. This is the tropics. Umbrella is essential even if not totally effective. When it really pours, very few people indeed try to walk anywhere. Afterwards rollup the pants (or wear shorts) and wade through the flooded streets (some flooded parts). The drainage system does not work well. Bangkok is rather little above sea level. There are grates to underground pipes but when the pipe is full and not flowing much the street water does not go down. Walking at least ankle deep in water is not too uncommon in rainy season just starting now. So who is going to wear shoes and socks LOL?

If going to a club, you might have to have shoes and socks in a bag and put them on when you get there, if any chances of flooding. LOL.
