I suspect the main issue is that there is no more Disneyland carnival style in Sosua where there are 50-100 girls all lined up on the street with music blasting everywhere and you get your pick from the entire bunch. It looks like that situation is entirely gone in Sosua. If that's the case, that doesn't bother me as much. I'm not really looking for "Disneyland" for adults.

My concern is whether the hot girls in the area are totally gone. Meaning you just will never see them walking the beach or the streets anymore because they've just abandoned the town completely. Nor will you see them on Friday or Saturday nights because again, everyone has just abandoned the place completely. Going to Sosua and finding out all the hot girls have left and won't be there on any weekends would really suck LOL.

I think the reality is that it's very variable. One night you may see the hotties out in the bar or by the beach during the day. And another night it will be completely dead with hardly any attractive girls present. Super variable, but not 100% consistent dead.

There's no hustle and bustle of a city, the beautiful water and a sandy beach is right there, and the locals are friendly. First and foremost on this board is don't listen to anything Travelingman3 says. That loser keeps posting shit on here like a cancer relapse. But, that's what you can expect from guys who go to Pattaya, where the girls look like little boys. Listen to what Oakie posts. He actually lives there and knows what he's talking about. My trips have always been great to Fantasy Island. If you like a beautiful juicy ass with a cute smile, you'll like Sosua. My latest memory is hanging on the beach with a beautiful Haitiana (which she wanted to do on her own), going in the water with her, having a great time, drinking some rum, and then wild sex at night. It's all in your mindset. Take it slow and take it all in.

Definitely should not do it when you are talking about different countries. So what goes on in your city has zero to do with what happens in Sosua.

I got nothing against Pattaya generally. In context, my jab, is at those posters who have for years been characterizing Sosua as just for losers, who don't know any better, even worse, "they enjoy getting tipped off".

No way to talk about fellow mongers who prefer the Latina vibe. LOL. That and the endless predictions that Sosua is dying or dead already.

I was out a couple nights ago, and it was busy, like old times. The bars were full, plenty of chicas, and the only thing missing were the aggressive skanks and freaks who used to clog up the sidewalks.

There are plenty of mongers here right now and many have sampled the delights of Pattaya, Brazil, Cali and we have a lot of Europeans and Germans who must know a thing or two about FKKs. LOL.

We have regulars that come down for the season, and that business has not dropped off at all. There are no "fire sales" of bars, hotels, and condos.

There are a few stupid ones, who always seem to make all the no no mistakes, and get their asses burned, but that's life.

There's no question Thailand draws far more mongers than DR, but hey, that's ok! I say enjoy.

It's big enough world for all of us!

Which is why I'm curious as to why these guys come on here time and time again and bash the place when they don't like it? Speaking of newbies to Sosua, to TerOnlyOnce, I was paying 2,500 to 3,000 pesos with a little tip for short time, and that was within some months ago. If you can speak some Spanish and tell them that's what you'll pay, nine out of ten will accept. But, if you can't speak Spanish and you instead ask them how much, they'll tell you a hundred bucks. If you go, write a trip report when you get back. I usually try to include pics with mine. That's what this info site is all about.
