Sosua Reports

I am more inclined to write a full report when I get back, because it is very difficult to find out what is really happening in Sosua.

My interpretation is that there are no more girls on Pedro Clisante. If you want to find girls you have to go to the beach during the day or inside of the bars at night. Which bars are the most effective and have the most / hottest girls? That I do not know, and I don't think no one knows because the information is so fragmented.

And my understanding is that you can't walk out at night with a girl on Pedro Clisante. Because right now there are tons of police guarding every single corner in mass. If they see you walking with a working girl, they will stop you on the street and hassle you. That is the understanding I am getting anyway, not sure how true it is. If it is true, then the best way to pick up a girl from a bar is to take a 2 minute taxi ride to your hotel. And my understanding with getting taxis in Sosua is that it can be annoying because there is no Uber, and you need to have bar staff call the right taxi for you, or you call it yourself off the official website or something, I honestly have no idea.

Well, I will just see what happens I guess.

I will say that if it becomes too much difficult to get laid from a bar with a hot girl who provides good service, then I will probably have to just scrap the whole plan and spend my time chilling on the beaches and eating good food. Maybe go snorkeling and turn the trip from mongering to just general relaxation. If I were to do that though, I would make a mental note to never return to Sosua again because I intended to come here for mongering.

Of course I will give it a genuine and serious effort to review this town and the opportunities when it comes to finding hot women for sex and fun bedroom times. But if I quickly see that it's too much of a headache because of logistics with the police / taxis / etc, or the availability of girls / quality of service from girls is not there, or the overall safety of the town is just bad, then yes I will make a final conclusion that the juice isn't worth the squeeze and take my US dollars elsewhere, never again to return to Sosua.

Its ok for you to walk with a chica, the cops only brother them if they are walking alone. There is a Taxi stand on the corner of Rumbas, they wear yellow shirts.

Is it what it used to be, of course not but there is pussy to be had. The casino at Playa Chiquita has a lot of girls but again you have to go late and it is hit or miss but late night weekends it is usually packed.

I've been down for a few months now. There are definitely girls around. Not as many but then there's not as many weekend warriors though there are quite a few this week. But today plans are rolling in for some major investments, as the natural assets of the country have been recognized by the prosperous economies of the USA And Europe.

There has been so many changes in the last 10 years to Sosua's infrastructure, streets and sidewalks, free internet everywhere, garbage trucks and collection and streets cleaner than my home town in midtown Toronto. New high end hotels and more. New highways and more planned.

Just West of the International airport, there is a vast area of undeveloped land with 3 or 4 miles of beautiful untouched beach called Punta Bergantin, where there has been a major development announced involving nine hotel chains including Marriot, Hyatt and Westin, beach clubs, and a golf course etc.

I've been close to the real estate business all my life, and I know the buzz in the air between a dirt poor community dying, and an opportunity to transition the area into a viable commercial project.

I know we have seen "plans" before, but these days, things that used to take a lifetime and get bogged down, can happen almost overnight, when real money gets involved.

Sosua is well placed in the center of all this action, so the Sosua we knew and loved will never come back, but for those who have a stake in the game and own a property, the future can be very bright indeed!
