I agree that your taste in women is way broader than mine. I get a lot of ribbing from my London crew about my particular tastes. I do like pretty girls. The reason I crashed and burned was that Lena was not offering kissing and I was keen on a session that would have some kissing. Angelina had been saying she does not offer kissing and her friend Lena would not as well. No talk of extra €50 for kissing and GFE arose.

Lena did not have much a say in the matter as Angelina was doing the negotiating for Lena for her services. My cover that "I am in town on business" is blown now. The girls have seen through me and know I am visiting just for the punting since I am in the clubs so often. I take it that test drive you refer to is the tasting menu concept or the smorgasbord availability of women that can be tried out for an initial outlay of €50 for a session which can be upgraded to multiple hours should the chemistry allow. With such choice and abundance the main limitation is of course the access to ready funds to try just about all the girls on your short list.

Then there are the days where the short list is so short there is none on there and so if you do see something you do like then paying that little bit more does not feel so bad. Especially when one has expended hundreds more in actually getting to the clubs so to quibble over €50 for some people does not have the proportion justifying the response of "nein danke".

I have never agreed to 100E gfe session, so I am not sure where the attention comes from. The extra menu does get mentioned from time to time, but I always politely decline.

I speak close to zero German & I do not even pretend to try. LBC knows much more than I & atleast he seems to try. I have nevr had a woman speak to me in German then offer the extra menu when she realized I did not speak. Even during my marathon sessions, I hardly say a word. No small talk. Yes. Exactly. If you can test drive any car in the lot for 50E, I would choose a fancy car with terrible gas mileage. Some might be happy with a Prius with the great gas mileage, safety & other benefits. I love fast, expensive sport cars with terrible gas mileage. It's great to be able pick any car with many colors & different features. You can upgrade to leather seats, add a great sound system & etc. Some are included. Some of these elite cars are high maintenence, but you can return the car in 30 minutes. I will take the Rolls Royce & F1 McClaren over a Toyota Corrola or Honda Accord any day. Forget about gas mileage & reliability.

Had an unscheduled stop in Frankfurt due to a missed flight, and needed to spend the night so I had my admin book me at the Radisson (it’s the tall strangely shaped hotel across from the Messe) which is just a 10 minute walk from Palace, so after dinner with some local friends and pleading tiredness, I walked the heavy dinner off in the blistering cold to Palace, arriving at about 10:00 p.m.

I have to admit, that I was wary about visiting this club after reading so much of the bashing, and have often surmised, as would anyone who religiously reads through these pages, that it cannot be mere coincidence, that Palace gets more than its share of unfavorable press. Trying to keep an open mind, I went with the full intent to be as objective as possible, even though my loyalties lie elsewhere. The best thing that could happen is that I would really like it and have another very convenient alternative in FRA.

I haven’t been there in a couple of years, so I’m not a familiar face to any of the SP or staff. A newbie, so to speak. In fact, I am anything but. My very first visit to Palace was about 5 years ago, also on a Friday night but right after it had re-opened as Palace (shortly after Atlantis closed). I actually never made it inside. As I drove up, there was an angry crowd of men outside, waiting to get in. It seems that there were about 30 women working that day, but already almost 100 men inside, and some of the men who had paid to get in, but left after surveying the sad scene and didn’t receive a refund, were agitating the crowd outside with this info. I made a quick U-Turn and drove off for Oase which was at that time, and still is, my preferred Hessen club.

I did return a short time later and have been back to Palace 2-3 times since then. I’ve never had a really bad time, since I’m sufficiently adept at this to know what works for me and avoid the bad SP. Then again, I’ve never had a particularly memorable time either. In the last couple of years, since giving my allegiance to other clubs, and finding my comfort zone elsewhere, I haven’t had a need to return. Frankly, I was turned off by many of the reported behaviors, which even when taken with many grains of salt, just seemed inexcusable. Then again, there are number of respected senior members who share some of my tastes, that keep coming back to this club, not because of its convenient location, but because of the hot SP selection and positive experiences to be had. And I did not feel comfortable participating in the seemingly endless debate, without my own more recent recollections to draw on. It was time to make a return visit.

To be fair, I was there on the Friday before Christmas, and didn’t expect a full lineup to be present. Even so, I was very disappointed by what I saw. Yes there were 4-5 stunners sauntering around. But there were also an inordinate amount of overweight women and 2 older worn out refugees from the RLD. From reliable reports, I expected to be knocked silly by the amazing lineup of runway models, which is on par with Oase and World. Also, I’d say more than 50% were wearing something even though Fri. night isn’t dessous night. Isn’t this an all-nude FKK club? By my count, there were about 35 SP that night and an equal number of customers.

I changed, showered and scoped out the renovated facility. Very nicely done with quality design and materials. Great relax area, although it would be even better if the pool and relax area were connected. Still impressive. I went to the champagne bar for a coffee and saw a beautiful tall brunette (Christina) and a beautiful statuesque blonde (???) together with a guy taking a chilled bottle of champagne. I put both on my list as they were easily the best of the lot. These 2 seemed to be together most of the night, although Christina was from the Spanish group and the blonde looked to be from the E. European crowd. Took my time to check out the rest of the staff. Some nice looking women walking around. I stopped a couple to chat up but none really lit me up. I was also mugged by a chubby Brazilian woman, who was after me the whole night, but her whole approach seemed too aggressive.

Eventually, I literally bumped into the lovely Julia, a pretty blonde who has been written about extensively here. She said “room?”. I said let’s sit first. I asked her if she wanted a drink, got one for myself and we sat on the couch beneath the large bar. She sat on the other side of the couch and was impatient with the conversation asking every 2 minutes, says “Room?”. I was testing to see if she would warm up, with me lightly caressing her arm and leg. This wasn’t going too well as she stayed on her side. I sat down next to the more friendlier of the 2, and we spoke, but when I asked to go to a room, she said that she was done for the night. So I approached the 2nd one. At this point I wasn’t interested in a GFE session, just to get my last rocks off, so I just suggested that we go to a room. She was E. European, but I'm drawing a blank on her name. She was very pretty and knew it. Blonde, blue eyes, 34B, very porportionate on her short body. After some fondling, I leaned over to kiss her on the lips, but she turned away and told me that it’s not included in the standard price. I acted surprised so she explained that for the basic price, she’s only required by the Palace management to do a BJ and have intercourse, nothing else, and so anything else that I wanted to do, would be charged for as an extra. For me DFK is not a bargaining point but is a basic FKK service and it and DATY are minimum requirements for a good session. Since she never promised either before we went to the room and was upfront with her message, this wasn't shark behavior, just an attempt to scam. So, I demurred, and opted to make sure that she provided the 2 services that she’s required to by the Palace management. I didn’t care if she enjoyed it or not, took my time and just pounded away until I was finished at the 28 minute mark.

When we left the room the club had really emptied out. The cleaning crew had already started although there were still a few men stragglers sitting by their lonesome on the couches. I showered and left the club at 3:45 a.m. planning on walking back to the Radisson, but it was pouring rain, so I took one of the waiting taxis for the 3 minute drive.

Summary:
1) It’s hard if not impossible to make a clear judgment based on one solitary visit after years of voluntary abandonment. Also, I’m sure that as has been reported here, there’s usually a great lineup of gorgeous models, with some excellent providers in their midst. Arriving at a conclusion about their lineup by a visit on a cold wintry weekend night just before Christmas with no Messe in town would be unfair. The place is kept very clean and I did see some very pretty ladies, have 2 decent, though not extraordinary sessions, and really enjoyed the sauna/ relax area.

2) I also personally encountered some of the types of behaviors, that have given this club its bad rep. I would not draw a comprehensive conclusion or bad mouth the club because of these, since it is conceivably possible that these were isolated incidents caused by my own unfamiliarity with the club, and my sex tourist status in the eyes of the staff. Nor was I "sharked" on this trip, since I avoided what I imagined would have been bad sessions with Julia and Christina. But I can say, that I have not encountered anything like the attempted scams by Christina and the E. European blonde in any of the other clubs that I visit.

3) There is much to be said for the benefit of being recognized as a return regular customer, and for operating in your own comfort zone in maximizing the pleasure of these club visits. I mused about this in a recent post, as this was prominent in my thoughts while visiting Palace and in subsequent visits to Bernd’s and Oase. It's pretty certain that a Palace regular would have had a more enjoyable time knowing the lay of the land and how to negotiate the minefield. I enjoy the thrill of the hunt and recognize that there’s a fair chance of having a less than fully satisfying experience by grazing in unknown fields. For an occasional visitor, I can understand the desire to go for a sure thing and one with less potential for disappointment. Luckily, I get to Germany often enough that I can mix in the new and dangerous with the old and comfortably familiar, so I’ll continue to occasionally nibble in unfamiliar fields.

4) Would I return? Yes, given the same conditions that brought me to come on this night; i.e. last minute change of plans, no car, hotel in West End of Frankfurt, next morning departure. Otherwise, I’ll probably continue to give my Hessen business to Oase, and to explore the vast greener pastures of NRW for its more varied harvest of opportunities. For others with limited time and opportunity, having to make one choice amongst all of the big FKK clubs, unless convenience of access is the primary consideration, I'd recommend to pass on Palace because of the higher chance of being scammed.
