Rio de Janeiro Reports

I called a non pro friend I have in Rio and asked her if she wanted to go to a swing club with me Saturday night, she told me she was sick, so I went to Hotside and found this GDP who said she would go with me. When I met her at 11 PM in a hotel bar in Copacabana I was ready to run away, she was totally not my type but I stuck it out because it was late and at least with her I could get inside the club.

When we got there she obviously new the bouncers and bartenders. We sat and had a few drinks in the bar area, I asker her is she liked girls, she said yes and men too. I was checking out her body, she goes to the gym everyday, her legs were like cables, her shoulders and arms were massive, not an ounce of fat on her, face had some age, not very beautiful but she certainly took real good care of herself.

Finally we went upstairs to the swing rooms and many young guys loved her and their girlfriends, she was a big hit. We started out on this big bed area must have been six couples just intermingled, everybody was all over her, the more that were attracted to her the better for me. Speaking of swing clubs - I went to Festa 18A on Mar 4th. It's located in Centro, at Club Mix, Rua do Mercado, 25 – Praça XV. Every Thursday night is swing night.

Couples - No cover until 9p, after 9p: R$ 50,00.
Free access to VIP Area for couples and single ladies.

Single ladies - No cover all night + R$ 25,00 bonus for beer or soft drinks.

Single Men – R$ 80,00 until 9p; R$ 100,00 until 11p; R$ 130,00 after 11p.

On their website, it states they limit the amount of single men allowed in, in order to maintain a good ratio to the couples, and that single men should call in and reserve a spot. NOT TRUE!! I got there about 10p, There were more guys then gals.

Club Mix has 5 floors. Upon entering, you pay the cover and are given a card for your drinks. (Pay for the drinks prior to exiting the club.) The first floor is a small dance floor with a bar in the back. There was a live band playing. It was packed! Lots of guys. Some single women in groups, some couples sitting on the side.

Access to the other floors is granted when the band ends their set, at about 12a.

The second floor has a closed room, where one can see inside through a screened window. During the night, I saw two couples playing in there, putting on a show. The rest of the second floor is couples and single women only

Third floor: another dance floor, setup like a disco, with DJ booth. It has a small stage area with stripper poles. This is where they have their shows. Saw a woman give some guy a BJ there.
Also co-ed bathroom and lockers on this floor. At around 1a, they turn off the light for a grope fest. 2a they have female strippers, 3a male strippers.

Fourth floor: As you get off the stairwell, there are 2 rooms, both have shower stalls. The room on the left is all enclosed. I missed a gang bang in the left room. (Got there after it ended.) When I got there, a couples was finishing entertaining a group of guys in the room on the right. This room has a glass wall, so one can look in.

The rest of the floor is roped off, couples, single women only. BTW, these couples only areas have security to prevent single guys from entering.

Fifth floor is the terrace with a bar.

During the night, I kept returning to the fourth floor, as couples rotate out of those rooms. In order to play, one needs to be invited or go in with the group, as I did. There was a couple, with a very attractive wife playing in the glass walled room. Based on what she was saying, it may have been her first time. She only wanted one guy at a time, and did not want to suck any guys. I was just waiting my turn. But as luck would have it, (bad,) one guy tried to go in her back door, and that soured the wife, and ended the festa, as the Husband stated.

I've been to 2a2 once, many years ago. I remember that club as being too small and filled with middle aged or older Cariocas. Festa18 is bigger, with a younger crowed, mid 20's to late 30's. It's full of fit, and young Brazilian guys. Speaking Portuguese well is a must.
At the end of the night, the 6 beers I drank, cost me $R36.

I had wanted to meet Alice Gouveia, she's a Hot blonde who supposedly puts these "parties" together. Sadly, she was not there that night. You can see her pics and pics of the Mar 4th party at:

You're right but it's mixed, most of the girls I was with were between mid 20's and mid 30's and that's ok with me but as you say there were others there that were too old but I would say they were in the minority.

I paid this girl 400 reais but in my opinion it was well worth it. Considering it would cost you that in Centaurus for 40 minutes, I banged 5 nice girls plus had a full evening with a show and fun with different people, I had a great time. This is not a cheap night by no means, my girl only had 1 alcohol drink, I drank Black Label and red bull, my tab including cover was 230 reais, so total cost for the night was 630 reais, you only live once, this aint no dress rehearsal.

One thing I learned is with the clothes coming on and off your stuff falls out of your pants pocket, I once lost my tab but the people who worked there went with me through the club and found it, I was amazed, I just ended up losing 6 very good condoms from the US and a pen so pretty much nothing, last year I lost my glasses. Fortunately I put my phone in a locker otherwise that would have been gone too. My wallet has a chain attached to it so I didn't lose that and I don't like to leave that in a locker considering the amont of money I had with me, I bought the wallet from a website that I think Christopherd posted once for travelling safes and things like that, it was a good find.

Ended up in Barbarellas, the waiter asked me what I wanted, I told him a beer, he told me no beer here, so I ordered Black Label, he seemed to like that. For the next hour all the available beauties sat down at my table and offered 500 reais, one came down to 350 reais, I told her 300 but she left. Then finally I see a cute blond, we went for a smoke, I said to her can you come with me for 300 reais , she said yes. All around good stuff, BBBJ, DATY DFK. She told me the night before she went to the Sheraton with an American for less than 1 hour for 500 reais, sad.

Just curious: why do your clothes keep coming on and off? Why can't you take them off and keep them off?

I have never been to 2a2 or any other swing club, but now you have whetted my curiosity. From your description, it reminds me of Plato's Retreat. Anyone remember that? It was the hot spot in NYC in the late 70s-early 80s until AIDS came along, prompting the health department to shut it down.

I'll be in Rio for a few days in April and will try to get a GDP I am still in contact with, who doesn't look like a GDP, to go with me. Of course, a report will follow if it happens.

Most people keep their clothes with them. Platos Retreat had lockers to hang your clothes up if you wish and walk around with a towel on, it doesn't seem to be the case in this place. A good friend who I ran into here yesterday was a good friend of Larry the owner of Platos, I gave him my copy of the movie American Swing a documentary just made last year about Platos, he was interviewed for the movie but refused to be in it, we watched it together yesterday, I knew some of the people in the movie, he knew most of them.

I still do not understand why mongers pay the Barbarella girls so much money. I see them in Balcony or the Pussycat strip club, and they fit end. I het girls at these places want R150.00 for a few hours each time, and if I give taxi money they stay later to all night. So why give the Barbarella girl R500-600?
