Don't know exactly what it is but Jaguar just isn't what it used to be. I can't quite put my finger on it but something about that place has changed for the worst. I stayed there recently and went two days without the cleaning lady even knocking on the door to see if I wanted the room cleaned.

The owner's wife ain't exactly the friendliest person in the world either.

Tipping the maid increases service quality from basic to vip. At Riazor my bathroom has two towels, I used one on the first night and next day the maid took the used one without replacing it, leaving just one towel. Next day I asked for 3 or 4 towels (for my chicas to shower or to clean their toto)and left a $2 dollar tip plus a package of Ritz crackers ( a substitute of BQ ham and cheese sandwiches). That day I received 4 towels, additional bar soaps and another room key. Riazor has this system were you have to place the key inside a slot to keep room electricity on so this additional key was a great help to keep my room cold`at all hours.

I would like to report the turn by turn maps worked as good as the USA maps. The best part is that you also get software to create your own routes and points of interest and then down load those to your GPS. That way if the place is not already on their map you can easily add the items or routes. You can also upload the trips to Google Earth which is kind of nice. Finally, you can also upload from the GPS, everywhere you went into the map software for future use. If you already have a Garmin GPS the software and maps are well worth the money. IMHO

Budget provided me with all of the required documents and I had my money in about a month. One thing I can add is to make sure you get the police report if the accident is big enough to require one since this is the main document required beyond the cost of repairs. Oh and having a stand up chica to watch your back does not hurt either.
