Andy was a bar owner, knickers and liquors and before a partner in that notorious place where there were poles and some nights the girls were topless.
The place was busted and the owner, andys mate whose name I forget went to jail.
Apartments for a short term may be possible, but they are few and far between.
I have a mate who has a suite at the hotel next to amari on 136 opposite the bars.

The girls drinks are $3 (more for spirits etc) and the barfine is a modest $6. There are usually 10-12 girls there, most of whom will go out with you if you are pleasant to them in the bar. They prefer LT at $30-40 as they tend to provide more of a "girlfriend experience" rather than a quick ST shag.
If the guy above was there for SIX hours and was generous buying drinks, then his tab may well have hit $100!
For anyone short of time in PP and after a ST with 6-8 rated girls for $20 including BBBJ, I'd recommend the Cyrcee Club (pronounced "sexy club" by the tuk tuk drivers) on Street 49 near Street 130.
The girls don't get paid any salary by the bar, so they are super keen to take you across the street to the ST guesthouse ($5)!
You have to buy them a drink first ($3) and pay the barfine ($8) , but they are very enthusiastic girls!
There are usually 10-15 girls there, almost all very cute looking.

Turns out it's called the Washington Hotel. But no brothels! The first three floors are KTV establishments, then several floors of hotel accommodation (some of it ST?) followed by a "spa massage" at the very top.
I went to one of the KTV places (seemed barang friendly, unlike many of the KTV places around). In one of the rooms I had a very pleasant English-speaking girl explain the set up to me in between singing traditional Khmer love songs!
She said most of the girls there would go out with customers, but it was $50 for ST and $100 for LT! And she insisted these rates applied to both barangs and Khmers!
I looked in on the room full of waiting girls (perhaps 35 girls but all only 4-6 rating)
So not worth the trouble I think, unless the whole rather weird KTV experience is your thing.

I arrived late last night and pretty much phoned it in. This morning I moved into a GF guest house on 51 Street. After reading this forum and others I decided that my first stop would be Cyrcee Club. I picked this one be / see I got the impression that it is essentially a take away brothel. My hunch was right and when I walked in there were a ton of girls in a row opposite the bar. I was first engaged by 3 women and I guess I was overly attentive to one be / see w / in the first minute the other two were gone. The one who stayed, despite saying she was 25, was heavily made up and appeared older. She also told me she was half viet / half Cambodian and IMO she looked more viet (lighter skin). I am not keen on sending one girl away for another unless she is rude, arrogant, tacit or dog ugly. This one was also very straight forward so w / in 3 minutes she told me that she could do good yum yum and boom boom and asked if I wanted. I then asked about the bar fine. She told me that the fine was one $3 lady drink and $5 for the house. I knew this would bring the total to between $25. 5 and $30. 5 (I had one beer) , which is acceptable. When we got to the room I told her my friend said to pay $15 for ST and she got an odd look on her face. She then said ST is $20, which IMO is reasonable.
Some of you may balk at the price because at other places you can get an FL for $15-$20 ST, but you will probably spend between $3 and $10 on drinks for yourself and her so all you save is the bar fine. In addition, you know where she works and there is someone she has to answer to if she screws you over.
On to the details. She was maybe 5 foot 3, 90 pounds with a nice perky ass, small a cups and nipples that stuck out. I hate make up on women and think that in addition to staining the pillow in my room the make up detracted from her looks putting her at about a 6/10. Her performance was an 8/10. Although she was a bit aggressive with the hand part of the BJ, she did let me control her head and more than once let me push her head all the way down (I have not had a woman deep throat me in over 3 months and never in SE Asia). We only did missionary but she was very enthusiastic throughout. Sometimes I forget that for most women ST means one pop and not 1-3 hours so next time I will slow it down to try more positions.
For anyone looking for a sure thing Cyrcee seems like the place to be. The bar itself was clean and well lit enough that you can see what you are getting before buying. Also, prior to me saying that I wanted to take the girl, there was no pressure to buy her a drink and given the quantity of bored looking girls I think that I could have waved her off for another. The staff and I detected no judgement in their eyes. I was even able to chat with one of bartenders while the girl changed.
In a bit I will walk over to walkabout to eat and check the scene. I probably won't pick anything up again until later at Heart of Darkness.

Check me out on the japan forums if necessary. I also plan to check out this one early next month when I visit. I guess it would be fishy if there were 2/3 new members posting about how good the girls were.
Anyway, I RTFF and have gone back through lists of places. Also spoke to a non ISG friend who spent time in PP. Am I correct in assuming the following are currently worth a visit?

I was actually more struck by the guys who posted that $36 was so much money they would never consider it. Oh my god, $36!
