Just looking thru the posts, it seems there must be other Sosua's out there, aside from the one I'm living in. LOL.

Here we have a variety of experiences, and opinions, and a lot of bad advice, self contradictions, even misinformation. In the big picture it's all good for keeping the Forum alive, but it's a minefield for a would be visitor conemplationing a trip here.

Some examples at random:

Even the most negative posters, without exception can't resist bragging on how they personally get laid there. No shortage of non pros, freebies for them. It's just the rest of you chumps that don't have their "secret sauce". Apparently nobody should go to Sosua, except for their little group of circle jerkers! Who rack up their post count telling fellow mongers NOT to go to Sosua. Crazy stuff, and a little bit weird if you ask me!

One prolific poster, who claims to be fucking the cream of DR professional females, Real Estate chicas, Cops, Doctors, Lawyers etc. , and non pros, was a year ago promoting a filthy scum covered walk up in Santo Domingo, GBP, who had 3 chicas and no shower. He was there hundreds of times with no problem he claims. LOL.

But what ever!

A couple things to keep in mind. Don't go looking for a GFE from a strange hoe you just met. To get a GFE, get a girl friend, and act like a boyfriend!

Don't be trying to match wits with a snarky waitress, or any server who brings you food from behind closed kitchen doors. They do have a way to get the last laugh, but it's too gross to relate here. You can DM me on that one!

As for fatassed chicas, and "skinny" ones being just a personal choice of attractiveness, that's a non starter, if you watch the Olympics, Tennis, Miss Universe Contest, or the chicks the high rolling celeb billionaires hang with.

I visited Sosua probably 30 times before living there and it was wildly different once I moved there. Same thing now that I live in Colombia, I have several drop dead gorgeous girls here that give me everything I could ever want, all uncovered including el culo why leche en la boca at a price no guy could possibly get while visiting, unlikely from most girls at any price let alone at half what the weekend warriors are paying here for shitty service. The smart chicas know that if you live here that they have a chance at repeat business for possibly a long time and perform on a different level and won't try to fuck the guy over with bad service and price gouging. If I contact a girl and I think that she doesn't understand the concept of this I explain it to them and most of the time the light inside their melon goes off and realize it is best to play the long game service and price wise. Of course there are exceptions to every rule but since I stopped visiting both places and have lived in these locations service has gotten way better and the price is reasonable.

Oakie is not wrong -you can get a modern condo walking distance to the beach for 150 k. Modern is a pretty subjective term but you can get a decent place for that.

Just an update. Things definitely picked up at Super Bowl. Not like old times but there were lots of weekend warriors and lots of girls. Its been continuing that way too- the girls are a little more modestly dressed but there's no mistaking them and there's no shortage. It'll be interesting to see if they let things keep rolling. There's also an awful lot of non monger tourists here right now probably because it's been an awful winter in eastern north America and Canadians and Europeans are staying away from Florida in droves.

When I punched in the directions for a few it stated 3 hour 50 minute walk to the beach. Yes, you can find nice places at cheap prices all throughout Sosua but if you want to live in Casa Linda, Residencial Hispaniola or any other property facing the beach on the north coast it is going to be a lot more than 50 K USD for that property. If you live a little inland the price comes down a lot but these properties are a little too far for me. You can get a 150 K villa (and that is stretching it-probably a lot more now) somewhat near the beach but if you want a gated community, high end amenities its going to cost a lot more than that. Check out the prices at Sosua Ocean Village or Casa Linda.

I'm 15 minutes from the beach and our condos sell from $75 k to $85 k. A beautiful spot in a quiet garden setting, with restaurant and hotel amenities! In Torontu my home town I can get a same size box in a midtown highrise for between $500 k and $1 mill. The ocean is a 3 month walk away LOL.

Maybe the difference is in how the particular guy operates. Using Thailand as an example, maybe when a tourist he would go to bars buying a bunch of drinks and paying barfines. But then started living here and built the confidence to talk to chicks in passing or online, thereby costing him less.

I have always been a freelance guy and do not care much for bars. And I started mongering in Rio where the freelance thing was big among tourists. So maybe it is ingrained in me to barter the price with a freelance regardless, thereby getting a cheaper price. I operate the same everywhere, so to me there is no difference when I am a tourist.

As for better service, this would be a personal thing and you would have to have a scale comparing the service of 1 chick before living and the same chick while being a resident. I personally believe that familiarty breeds contempt, and do not think the service would get any better or the pussy any wetter when you live somewhere after being a tourist there.
