Both times I stayed at Venezia I called 5 hours before arriving and was charged 1500 pesos a night. Upon check out I was charged a 300 pesos visitor fee for a chica I brought to my room 3 out of the last 4 days I was in the hotel. It seems certain desk clerk enforces the rule, so I had no choice but to pay the 300 pesos fee.
The 2 rooms I used only had one open electrical plug. Luckly I brought a 1 to 3 way 3 prong adapter that costs less than $1 at walmart or lowes and it helped greatly. I usually travel with many gadgets requiring charge (dominican and american cell phones, laptop, camera, ipod), so therefore I came prepared.
I have yet to see a Dominican hotel with bottle opener in the room. Long time ago while preparing for my first DR trip I read a report here where someone recommended bringing your own bottle cap opener. If you enjoy drinking Presidentes in the room I would recommend this as well.

Waleska is one great piece of ass. This girl has infinite energy and the best attitude. In fact, all the girls in GBP have great attitudes, I wish I could find more places like this at the same price range in the city. During the days I spent in SDQ I stayed with 5 GBP girls and they were willing to meet after closing time or sundays at my hotel. They cannot be seen giving out phone numbers in front of the bar, so it's best to ask inside the room.

I totally agree with you. Each time i am in the capital, GBP is my only visit as i've never been disappointed with the service and it's cheap. the girls are very friendly in the room.

Same great attitude selection of chica's. And value.

Is the pricing the same in the Piano Bar and is the service on site or take out? The Piano Bar has been mentioned several times but I can't recall anyone who has actually sampled the goodies.

I went there along with Boricua Online and Watnow few minutes before closing time on a sunday night and there were only 2 chicas inside. One of them was cute and quoted us 2000 pesos. Boricua Online wanted to try her the next day, but he ran out of time.

A sandwich from the Hotel Navarro Parrillada and a beer from the place in front of it. Good, cheap, and chicas hang in the area at all times.
There is a place on Casimiro de Moya, just a left after 56 piano bar that sells lunch for $80 pesos, barely over 2 dollars, a great lunch special.
