I am not very knowledgeable in the workings of the under world but this is what I think.

If you pay off cartel #1, cartel #2 will not like it and hit you.
If you pay off cartel #2, cartel #1 will not like it and hit you.
Then there is cartel #3.

I personally feel that nowhere is safe in Mexico and visiting Mexico is on a "go at your own risk" basis in my book.

Just wondering if someone can explain how Luxxor works for me? I've never been but am thinking of going, it's close enough to walk from PDN bridge, so maybe I'll go. How works? Line-up or one-on-one intro? Heavy upsell? Decent rooms? How to get into jacuzzi room? Please 'splain, thanks.

heynowwassup, i can give you my opinion on things at luxxor. constellation is probably the most knowledgable monger here on luxxor. he seems to like stuart, who runs the place, but the lady who also runs the place, soraya, can sometimes be a pain in the ass. here is the website for luxxor. here's is a possible "game plan" for you. walk across the pdn bridge to the kentucky club. you can call luxxor from the kentucky club, and luxxor will come and pick you up, if you stand in front of the kentucky club. they charge $5 for this service. or you can just walk down ave. juarez, to ave. 16 de septiembre, then walk east until you get to luxxor. they will give you a tour of luxxor, explaining how everything works. the girls will all line up, and you can pick the girl you want. girls may try to upsell you, but stuart is trying to cut back on this upsell crap.

also, when you walk down ave. juarez, you can peek inside cleopatra mp, if you are interested, on your way to luxxor. after luxxor, you could walk over to sirenas. after sirenas, walk 2 blocks to el encanto.

my humble advice would be to simply bang every babe in all four of these mp's, and then post a full trip report when you crawl back. the mongers here would be most appreciative. :d

In answer to the previous post's on Luxxor and Stuart and Soraya, I would like to add my two cents. Yes Stuart is great, and things always go well when he is there, but Soraya was super when I was there Thursday! I had gone with one Chica and been in the room for a long while, was sitting at the juke box with her when my little novia showed up. Now many may think this is naive, but I do not like to have a GFE with one and get up to go off with another girl in front of the one that I just finished with, Soraya was great, took me down the hall told the first girl, that I was going to get drinks and had the second one meet me upstairs. We have had our little arguements in the past, but she is always good with me. Remember, things are tough in J Town, so they need all the business they can get, Overall, over the years, on balance, she has been terrific with not only me, but my friends who go there. You have to get along to go along, and if you are nice to her, she will be nice to you. She has always been super loyal to me. As for safety, I wouldn't dream of going to any other place, In 2008, I went to Sirenas once and it was fine, I used to go to Pink Lady, Norma, Colorado, but no more. I never drive over. Always walk to Kentucky and Soraya or Stuart come to get me and she brings me right back to the turnstiles at the bridge. Wish things were different, but, well they are not. In the past, I used to take the girls out, but no more, especially after what happened to the teacher. You can still have fun, just be carefull. I reccomend the Luxxor with flying colors.

Great service from everyone and they have been accommodating to me. I have yet to see her bad side I guess. The only thing I remember is her telling a girl not to cross her legs in front of me and pull up the dress a little so I could I get full view. Yes I worry about crossing and it does cross my mind once in while of something happening there.

I'll add that when I went to Luxxor on 3-4-10, Soraya was managing that day. She was very nice to me, and offered to have one of the girls give me a tour of the place. I asked Soraya if it was okay that I tip the girl $5 for the tour, and Soraya was very nice, and pleasantly responded, "Yes." Soraya was the one who explained to me about being picked up in front of Kentucky Club. I've never been back to Luxxor, because of the $40 fee, but Soraya was very pleasant to me that day. I've heard other mongers complain about her on this board, but she was very pleasant to me when I met her on that one day.

I completely agree. I'll be very nervous when I start going back to Juarez in a couple of weeks, or so, with the cooler weather. You have the cartels, crooked cops, and pretty good pussy for not much money. Hell of a combination. :(

It's on CNN. Group hijacked a busload of tourists, all Mexicans I believe, outside Cancun. I keep reading these posts saying they are only targeting other cartel members. When you have this much violence other crime ticks up also. Tourists are not safe from stray bullets either.
