Hi,

I'm an Indian coming to Dhaka for the first time next month in February for about a week. Just joined this forum for guidance and to learn on how to monger in Dhaka with limited funds. I've read and continue to read the posts in the Dhaka section to absorb what I can but am requesting info / guidance on a few subjects:

1) I've seen references to the brothels in the Kandapara and Daulatdia areas. Are these brothels worth going to? Which brothels are closest to Dhaka? There are cheap mongering options in Dhaka but I never been in those. Also since you do not speak Bangla, I would not recommend you visit those places. You may be robbed, extorted, cheated and get into all sorts of trouble if you are not local. The legal brothel at Daulatdia is cheap and safe, but again, I don't think you can make the trip solo. Cheaper area to stay and monger near Dhaka would be Tongi area, though I never been there and have no idea about latest mongering scene. Before most of the hotel had girls available on call.

Being an Indian, I am planning to visit Dhaka for some meeting. Hope to have some pointer from the generous people of Dhaka.
