Two or three of those BJ Bars are literally shouting distance from the areas covered in the existing maps. If they had expanded the edge of the maps another inch or two they would have been captured. Whoever put those maps together on that site should have figured out a way to included those extremely famous (some) bordering on legendary Bangkok BJ Bars, even if they had to create one more special map to do it. It was a major oversight.

I didn't realize Soi 22 had so much stuff, including Queen's Park plaza. Will check it out next week.

Must be better than walking up and down Suk between Thermae and Nana.

But never heard anything substantive or super enticing about soi 22. But looking at the map, it suggests there is plenty to be discovered there. Looking forward to any intel you can provide, BB.

Queens Park on Soi 22 has a variety of beer bars with plenty of friendly, older bar girs if that is your cup of tea. Its a low key place to hang out at so nothing wrong with it. Hideaway Bar is as good as any place to get a cold beer and play a few games of pool with a hostess girl. Popeyes Bar over on the side is sort of the same same and open until at least 5 am or 6 am. About 4 or 5 years ago, I saw a really hot girl dart in and out of Ice bar. It was pretty much the same Isaan gals you saw in any GoGo area, but in dresses. BFs then were about 2 k but negotiable.

Look I am not trying to make excuses for them. They decide which areas had enough interesting bars and venues to be worth mapping. Whoever makes the Map decides what to Map. I think they Map famous areas with multiple venues.

For guys interested in Soi 22 bars and Q Park Plaza, don't expect too much. I recall past underwhelming visits.

Actually, I have not explored the possibilities there as much as I should have by now. It is true I speak Thai with girls mainly because my Thai is better than their English, usually.
