Many thanks for your message Sven. The Sofitel also seems to be totally green with side entrance. Not tried personally though. I'm still tempted to try my luck with the Shangri La (plus: nice pool and beach, minus: 30 minutes taxi ride to central AD), and report in due course, however, trip scheduled to take place in April (if air fares do not rise too much).

TBH you're better off staying in central AD, not just because of the minus taxi ride, some of these WG's will say it's too far, or because it's too far will charge you more, and ask for much more taxi money.

Intercontinental Hotel has a nice new pool area, and nice cozy beach (not the best, but nice and cozy).

This all sounds very promising. Currently in Antalya, and managed a decent off season score (check out the report). But very much looking forward to Abu Dhabi in two weeks! Should anyone fancy partnering up, give me a shout. That curvy African girl is nowhere to be found over here.

Was in Ally Pally earlier this week with my GF. I think AP might win the prize for the worst band ever heard in Abu Dhabi. Jason and the Jammers are just about as good as the garage band name might suggest. What they lack in talent they make up in volume. And the lead singer, a very large English (?) woman with tattooed flesh bulging from a dress that resembles a sausage skin, is to die for, literally. Sigh. The population of PRCs seemed to be a bit down and that of Africans a bit up, all in all not very crowded. The only up side is that I imagine the WGs would be a bit anxious to book and be gone. Talked to a few that we know and no one likes this band. If only they would turn the volume down. Way down.

Last Saturday I made my first club visit in AUH.

First stop 49 ers -- entry fee 75 including one drink.

Was surprised to see the club with very few WG as I am used to seeing the packed clubs in Dubai.

One PRC came along and started a chat and told me if I am staying in same hotel she can come over to my room. I was surprised to hear hotel with clubs was green, however its not confirmed.

However I just Watched the football for sometime and left. There were few CIS Who were pretty hot too.

Next stop. Trap.

Packed with black WGs and area was small compared to 49 ers. Entry fee Aed 60 including 2 drinks. As soon as I entered 2 girls were pestering me. Finally when they left I settled down. However I have to say the club was lively than 49 ers. One hot WG made a offer Aed 400 plus 100 for 1 hour room in hotel which was 2 minutes walk. I never tried black lady so that also held me back.

Was too tempted but I had decided I would just scan the scene today.

Will try other clubs coming weekend.

Beings that I live out near YAS, I have been on the hunt for AMPS on the outskirts. Still have not struck gold, plenty of hotels and small Spas, but nothing yet with the options for Extras. So the hunt continues, Dave referred me to a Mussafa possibility. But no one ever answers the phone, so perhaps closed up already. Good Hunting!

There is always the lineups in the labor camps. Girls have told me about this, hard to even imagine. Just a few aed, maybe 5 minutes and she "cleans" with a wet wipe. There are some amazing things that go on in this world.

Felt so hot and went to a villa at airport road, beside nutrilite.

Have chosen this girl, cooperative but was in a haste. Didn't give 1 hour as per telephonic conversation. Massage was bare minimum.

But I don't know with other girls. But all are beautiful.

Total damage = 300 dhs.

But asked to call another no. So that we can get at discounted rate of 200.

Yes, it's a given that I'll definitely have to budget more taxi money, and you're right that they may try to charge more or refuse to come. But it's more or less like staying at Grosvenor House (in Dubai) and going to Bur Dubai. 50-100 AED in taxi money has to be expected.

I know that many prefer to stay downtown, but the Shangri-La should have (never been) a nice pool and beach area, I often stayed at the Shagri-La Dubai and it was very nice (admittedly, in Dubai the Shang has a great location, and in AD not quite so).

Given that you are so knowledgeable, can you confirm that the Hyatts are no go? I know nothing, but for sure they have a weird message on their booking system about having IDs.

As for their I'd thing, that's normal, all hotels here want 'guest' IDs before they come to the room, one hotel I know even keeps their passport (Al-Ain Palace, not sure if they still do that). I wouldn't think Hyatt would be a no go, it's near the exhibition centre, so they know a lot of hotel guests will book into this hotel if they're having an event at the centre, and they will know that many of these guests may want to invite over some other 'guests' to unwind, so they'd be pretty stupid to have a no go policy, they'd losing out on a lot of potential guests, and everything in this city is about making the $$.

A friend of mine works for one. Should you visit one per say near a another beach resort, let me know via PM and if he is on shift surely exceptions can be made.

Been a keen observer of this thread for some time but haven't tried anything yet. I'm happy to report back on my findings, but am personally looking to only stick to legal spas that offer a little something on the side. Can't be too careful with LE in this part of the world. Which places in the city center would fit that description? The ones that people here have mentioned as "legit"? So far I know about the one near the telephone provider, near the hotel opposite Electra and the rising from the ashes among others.
